I'd say...go there and let 'em have it. Give them something to answer for for their attitudes towards you. Even if it means explaining how you have in fact lived, dare I say it, such an honest life in spite of their attitudes, and then turning around and walking out of the reunion and out of their lives for good...you don't owe them very many niceties at all. Especially not your "best friend" who wasn't really much of a friend.

You know how a cheating lover will sometimes accuse you of cheating in their effort to cover up their own two-timing? Well...what if Michael was gunning to have Pat fired over a supposed molestation because it's really he who has designs...on...? I hope I'm making nothing more than a wild guess with this one, but that is the thought that jumped out at me when I read where they discussed Michael.

Ugh... I see this on Facebook all the time...usually in ways like "being raped at the gas pump". Really?? I have to agree with this one too - I rarely see it used anymore other than to push a political agenda, and it'd perhaps be nice if that would stop.

Any way you slice it, given Brad's own experiences from when he was Will's age, and Will's experiences now, I don't think it makes sense to simply take what would be a parent's normal reaction to "the big M", paste it onto Brad, say "oh, that makes sense", and be done with it. For Brad's reaction to match a typical parent's reaction, given the history up to this point...I think something else is going on that we don't know about yet. That's not to say Brad didn't freak out in the slightest...I'm just not sure that that's the only thing fueling his reaction. Who knows, maybe this really is just Brad underestimating Will's ability to handle unwanted advances...but I dunno.

The question was probably intended for me to answer, but I don't think I could give an answer that's any better than the one Jeremy just gave here. I haven't quite gotten into the series nearly as much, but much of what he's said, I do agree with. Having said that, I think I've started something here that's taken this thread perhaps a little too off course. My apologies for that.

I think I'll second the complaint about going too slow, if only because it seems like we won't even hit Election Day *shudder* until something like chapter 50 at this going rate.

When life imitates art...? Seeing everyone else join in on the "pick on Will" bandwagon, just like what happened on his birthday, is starting to make me feel bad for him, and contrary to how everyone else is feeling.

Do we need to have another 20-something guy molesting a kid? We already had (the other) Josh fool around with Brad when Brad was younger...and look how that turned out.

If I'm just standing, then I don't bother. But if it's more than that, then sometimes I will (only if I'm at home though, never anywhere else ).

Heh, I don't mind those at all... But having Josh turn out more like Wade (in some respects...) wouldn't be such a bad change of pace.

I think it'd be pretty refreshing to have a guy who either will wait or who takes it slower with sex. Wade seems to be doing this with the guys he's with who aren't Matt - he's not exactly utilizing that back door, either his own or the other guy's, unless the other guy is Matt. So, for Wade to suddenly break that habit with Josh...would that really be realistic, either?

Oh no, I don't think a divorce is likely between now and November either...if then, even. But in the heat of the moment in the chapter, it felt like it was coming. I'm not under any illusions that she'd be exiting anytime soon either (assuming that's what happens)...my guess would be something like 60 chapters later, a few stories later - something like that. Not that I'm making any suggestions about that...

My oldest cousin has cut my hair for several years. She knows how to get it how I want it and puts up with me when I want it cut shorter, shorter, or just so to get it right. I either visit her to have it cut or stop into the salon where she works part-time. -
Y'know, it seemed like Daddy dearest was about ready to ask for a divorce right on the spot. Seems like Elizabeth ought to be destined for one of two fates in the end: One, is making up for all the damage she's caused - for real this time! The other...is the ever-popular permanent Exit, Stage Left. Given the rate this one's been moving forward, though, I'm willing to bet there's a fair number of October Surprises still waiting for poor Daddy dearest...

I dunno about Zach turning back on Gathan again so soon after trying to make up, but unless I missed something in all my CAP reading of the past month or so (starting from the beginning! ), we don't even know yet why JJ's such a bitch to Gathan, do we? That has to at least count for something...
