  1. Gah - I overlooked that for a moment there. With the proviso, I'd have to agree with you. Otherwise, I'd have to think he'd be more willing to brag if he was the one bone-ing instead of being boned. Keeping in mind...JJ will be 15 in December, and Will turned 14 a month before this. The only thing I can think of is that David's own escapades would rival Will's, or even put him to shame. Otherwise, I'm having trouble imagining him bragging about it, since...given JJ's and Will's ages, how old can David possibly be?
  2. Shane might not take it well...probably anything gay-related will screw with his attention, just because it'll remind him of what his mother is keeping him from having. How on earth, though, would David ("that one skater") have any idea of Will's connection to JJ? But all things considered...what young skater would brag about getting boned in the bathroom? As for Jeff, I think Will could sense that Jeff was being sincere with him - and perhaps more importantly, he owned up to what he did, as opposed to Michael who probably couldn't even be paid to own up to how his attitude is pissing off those around him.
  3. I vary depending on the circumstances (i.e. is someone in the next room?), but I'm capable of both being quiet and of...um, not. But that first one...words and instruction?? Ummm......no.
  4. Reason I thought we'd hear from Wade next is, if I remember correctly he's on his way home now isn't he? So with everybody else gone to Norway, he gets the chance to play "daddy" for Riley, if only for a short while (and if only seen for one chapter). I mean this is "Paternity" after all...
  5. For what it's worth, I was wondering why on earth anyone thought there'd be consequences for the switched flights. I think Jeff did a...more than adequate job of making up for his bad behavior , whereas Michael is just plain unsalvageable. I am starting to wonder what's happened to Pat, though...
  6. Gee, is everyone who said there'd be consequences for Will switching the flights around disappointed that...more-or-less, there weren't any? Totally called it that Jeff's attitude was all about not being able to have Wade. Speaking of which, I'll bet we switch back to Wade next chapter. Somebody said for the previous chapter, to keep those batteries recharged while you're on vaca. Somehow...I think this chapter shows that those batteries are more-than-sufficiently, um...charged.

    Chapter 5

Poor Tibial, and poor Chad...the feelings between them are bigger than anything, and everything else going on combined. I'm sensing a lot of destructive times ahead...
  8. The idea that, "oh, she shouldn't have let those kids affect her that much"... ...is one of the most offensive things I've seen posted on this site.

    Chapter 6

Hmmm...wonder what did happen once they got back to Mitch's apartment, eh? Quite a few interesting ideas put into this chapter.

    Honesty

It's so funny that you mention this...I work at a state park here in Michigan, and "fee collecting" is among the many things I do on a day-to-day basis. I mainly watch over the spray park in the park, making sure everything's running smoothly and that no one gets hurt. When I have time and don't have something else more pressing to get done...I check people's vehicles to make sure they've got park passes. If someone comes up to me and they don't have a pass, I can sell them one on the spot if they have cash (if they don't, I can direct them where to get one with card/check). We're not always able to have someone at the booth near the entrance, but right now we're looking at having someone there more often.
  11. I'm going to make like Go-Go Dodo on this one: *pulls out "Canned Catcalls"* Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Sorry Cassie, but it just sucks that Caleb went through all that inner turmoil and came clean about his past to Noah, only to have Lucia just show up right at the end and kill Noah off anyway. Blegh.
  12. Complaint Department? Complaint Deparment, please? Yeah, I'd like to register a complaint. All the calling him "Hot Jeff" in this chapter was really really annoying! Especially seeing as his attitude of late has downgraded him, to not-so-hot Jeff. Thank you.
  13. I haven't really even thought about if the guy's better endowed than me - I'm thinking more like, it'd be awkward topping a guy, who say, is 6'0 tall compared to my 5'6. That kind of "size" comparison.
  14. I think a lot of his dad's turnaround can be placed on the conversation he'd have had with dear old Mom outside the story. I think, deep down, what he wanted was what he thought was best for Kevin - it's just that, up to now, he didn't exactly have the right idea of what was best. I also think that it's not quite a full 180 turn for Dad, either - maybe a bit short of that. He's started to make the turn, but as he said, he still needs some time. Either way, I doubt he'll be doing anything like showing up at a PFLAG meeting or something like that. Glad you liked the story, and thanks for reviewing!
  15. Glad you enjoyed it! It was a bit tough to get this started because of how emotional I knew it would be - I couldn't get in the right frame of mind to start this for the first couple of weeks after "It Wasn't Me" went live. Then all it took was having one bad day, and I was off and running.
  16. I think...there's a certain submissiveness that guys feel when they're younger, that they lose as they get older. The extent of which, depends on the guy; it's obviously less prevalent or not at all in the younger ones who don't bottom (or don't much). I do know that that's how I feel - I sometimes do fantasize about topping a guy, but it wasn't something I thought about until maybe a year or two ago. Haven't actually done it yet, though. At 5'6 tall, I'm not a very big guy though, either. The idea of topping a guy who's bigger than I am feels horribly awkward to me. Not the case if he's my size or a bit smaller than me.
  17. Hee hee, glad you liked the dream sequence. I included that to keep the story from getting too heavy. Thanks for reviewing!
  18. I think he was a mix of brave and naive, not really thinking about what bad could've happened. That set the stage for his being determined to tell dear old dad. Glad you liked it, and thanks for reviewing!
  19. "What else can a dad do but love their kid for who they are?" Exactly! The first part might've felt a bit like rambling on cause it was so long, but I intended this one to be as it was - right to the point. Thanks for reviewing!
  20. Now now, there was no way I was going to leave it where Dad couldn't accept Kevin for who he is. Seriously. I mean it. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the review!
  21. I think it would've been even heavier if I hadn't included the dream sequence in the middle. I wrote that in to provide sort of an "interlude" between the beginning where his dad rejected him and the end where he came around. Glad you enjoyed reading it!
  22. I think that's actually a more apt description than just saying he had his head up his...you know. Glad you liked reading it!
  23. Just be glad they weren't too straight...if you get my drift. Thanks for reviewing!

    Chapter 4

Oh dear...how long till he can't keep it going with Mia any longer?
  25. You really think a rank amateur like Mary Ellen could bring down Elizabeth?
