What is your favorite Hair/Eye color combination.

Eyes...I don't really care as to the color. Hair though, I much prefer darker hair to lighter/blond. -
Oh yeah, I don't think he's deserving of any noble accolades any time soon...but I do think it's hard to really be an opportunist about it when your options are down to...pretty much one thing only. Give me a better idea on this...but, what other choices did he really have that would have any likelihood of working out?

I think...in Carl's case, it's less about having "big balls of brass", and more about quite simply wanting to help his brother out at all costs, and seeing basically no other way to do so, than to do what he did here. And anyways...what's this talk about, "if Danfield loses the election"? I thought we voted on that a couple weeks back here in the forum...and Danfield was a clear winner.

I'm inclined to think that at some point, one of the punishment bodies involved here will just flat out try to have Penn State shut down completely. Call me crazy, but frankly I think the punishment-seekers have been purely out for blood for quite a while in this case, to the point that it's reached shear irrationality. I mean, it's gotten to the point where it's all about dirtying bad names as much as possible, that it's just like, who cares about any of the victims or anyone else who didn't even have anything to do with what happened?? But oh, they just happen to be involved with Penn State at some point in the timeline (speaking mostly of the latter). And that's, what bothers me.

I think...if a guy's asking "the question", he's probably looking for a quickie. (Or even a not-so-quickie, but you get the idea...) I've just gone with the flow when it comes to dating that leads to sex...the only times I've ever had the question come up is from guys looking for flavors-of-the-moment. Maybe it's just me...but I think if a guy's going to date another guy and he flat out asks "the question", he's still thinking with the head not attached to his shoulders, and he's not after the other guy for his heart's sake. Even for those who are strictly tops or bottoms and they are dating for the right reasons (i.e. Not just for the sex)...when it does come up, it won't be "That awkward moment when..."

See...that's what gets me about the possibility of Will transferring to Menlo, it feels too much like just bolting to get away from Jeanine, which in turn feels too much like just taking that situation, laying down.

I can't help but wonder if Michael will be the next Brian when it comes to being pathologically inclined to do whatever damage possible to the family, regardless of any consequences coming for himself. Honestly though, I was expecting it to be JJ who sent the pics. I'd also be willing to bet that Jeanine will exit, stage left, before Will ever spends a day in Paly/Menlo.

With Jeanine...I can't help but think that maybe she just can't be fixed. She did receive electroshock as part of her previous treatment...I have to think that's playing a part somewhere. There's only so much that can be done to try to "fix" her, if the issues will just keep coming back again, and again, and again..so most likely, Jeremy would be right in that Mark's prepping her for exit. As for Jeff...we haven't seen him around Wade at all since their fallout, which was only a few weeks ago in the timeline. It wouldn't be that hard for them to talk things out pretty soon, and unless Mark's planning to end this one with the election, there's even room for it to happen in this story.

It really seems like JJ's becoming nothing more than pure "diva" on two legs, with absolutely nothing else to his character at all, lately. Wouldn't that be a pre-cursor to falling flat on his face? It's how he handle picking himself back up that really matters. 2) JJ and Will are not you. In any case, I'm only two months older than you, and I didn't know what "bi" was at age 9, nor had I even heard the word, nor was I even watching So-Called Life. You mention Gathan...well, when was the last time Will even thought of Gathan for any reason? 3) I touched on this with the whole JJ being completely diva with nothing else to him thing. But maybe that's a side effect of Norway going on, and once it's over, he'll come unwound.

Erm...isn't it technically already re-writing history just having a Senator Danfield from Virginia even up to this point in the first place? I mean let's face it, either way...either Danfield is already taking somebody's place, or Virginia gets an extra Senator with Danfield. Either way, there's a bit of tinkering. Frankly, I think that having him not win the election would just be giving in to all the shit that the family's had to deal with - it'd be the easy way out. (And the coward's way out... ) Besides, with Danfield staying put there's some interesting possibilities - with his coming around on some issues, how will he fare next to the other Republicans that'll be coming in in the Dubya times? -
Chapter 49 really seemed "blah" to me. Will's slutty and JJ's a diva as always, and all the other skaters turn out to be gay and horny. Very very very much an example of "in-the-box" storytelling. Next chapter, please...oh look! It's up! (I've had a busy past few days, and haven't had a chance to reply to even the last chapter till now.)

The family's only known him since then - but seeing as many, many chapters cover that stretch, it's felt like much longer than that out here in Readers Land.

I do see how that's a fitting analogy, actually...but all things considered, I'll take Gates donating just $100,000, as opposed to him donating...well...not even a dime (or penny).

I'm surprised you haven't scored that reveal yet. But then again, I've noticed you haven't done a lot of scoring lately. I can think of a great song for that moment. You'll have to go back to 1989 for it, though.

It's good that Jeff's got it all out there about how he felt about Wade. But Will's not the one he needs to be fessing up to. As for Pat...not to be insensitive, Mark, but this just seems like a really lame storyline to end up with. All things considered, Pat seemed like a really good guy for Will to have in his corner, so to first find out about the false molestation allegation, then to find out that he's apparently a meth-head who's now already Positive...it just seems like, Really?? Really?? That's one heck of a big 'ol let-down.

Gah - I overlooked that for a moment there. With the proviso, I'd have to agree with you. Otherwise, I'd have to think he'd be more willing to brag if he was the one bone-ing instead of being boned. Keeping in mind...JJ will be 15 in December, and Will turned 14 a month before this. The only thing I can think of is that David's own escapades would rival Will's, or even put him to shame. Otherwise, I'm having trouble imagining him bragging about it, since...given JJ's and Will's ages, how old can David possibly be?

Shane might not take it well...probably anything gay-related will screw with his attention, just because it'll remind him of what his mother is keeping him from having. How on earth, though, would David ("that one skater") have any idea of Will's connection to JJ? But all things considered...what young skater would brag about getting boned in the bathroom? As for Jeff, I think Will could sense that Jeff was being sincere with him - and perhaps more importantly, he owned up to what he did, as opposed to Michael who probably couldn't even be paid to own up to how his attitude is pissing off those around him.

I vary depending on the circumstances (i.e. is someone in the next room?), but I'm capable of both being quiet and of...um, not. But that first one...words and instruction?? Ummm......no.
