Thanks @Israfil You're right, Robbie has not cheated on Nathan and also as some have pointed out, in theory, he would have been risking outing Alex by telling Nathan. So Nathan should be understanding. However, with Alex increasingly on the scene and wanting to be friends, it would look bad if Nathan was to discover this from someone other than Robbie. Also as you say, 'if Alex makes a play for Robbie'.

His reaction will be interesting because it blows his theory of Robbie not really being gay, out of the water. It will certainly spice up the dinner party. Alex is unpredictable; he has the potential to make or break their relationship as yet we don't know for certain if he's a good guy or bad guy.

Thanks @Butcher56 that would be the perfect ending, I know. Life isn't always that easy though and we know how people like to throw spanners in the works. I'm afraid the road to happiness will get a little bumpy towards the end, but there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you @Benji I don't think that Robbie sees any advantage in trying to stay in the closet now that his family and most of his friends know about him. He's also totally smitten with Nathan at the moment and frustrated at not being able to show his affection in public. Don will definitely be pissed off but we will have to wait and see how he reacts to Nathan's parents.

A dark chapter but at least we got to see some justice handed out. I was baying for blood in this chapter and I'm not normally like that, so you must have done a good job. Toby, as we already knew was judge, jury, and ultimately the executioner! I'm guessing that he had a lot of experience in that particular field, working for the government and all those missions. I wasn't sure if I would really enjoy this story with its BDSM theme but now I'm glad that I gave it a try. Robbie has to make sure it stays like that. I think that the general feeling is that he should tell him sooner rather than later, but Robbie doesn't have the benefit of this advice.

Yeah, Don and Sue haven't exactly covered themselves in glory. I admit that it's difficult to like them or see any good in their actions. Robbie's describes Don as an 'egotistical, homophobic, maniac', and he's probably not far off the mark. The pot has been simmering for a while now but pretty soon it's going to boil over, so hang on tight! Thanks, @Mike00

I would say that Nathan is definitely more mature than Robbie as well as being more self-confident and probably a lot smarter. Nathan has also benefitted from a strong, stable and supportive family--including Daniel--who have never seen his sexuality as a problem. Robbie's problems go back a long way. The lack of any kind of father figure in his life, the death of his mother at a young age, the difficulties involved in moving to another country, and the emotional upheaval of living with a family of strangers have all taken a toll on him. Don's reaction to his sexuality and Sue's failure to protect him at a time when he was most vulnerable have only compounded his problems. Robbie is a very troubled young man who desperately needs some kind of guidance in his life. Until this happens, we can expect him to continue making mistakes, no matter how costly they prove to be in the long term. Thanks again @Sweetlion for your interest in the story.

Ouch, that can be painful but I guess you're right about the band-aid or plaster as Robbie would call it. If he's going to tell Nathan, then he should do it straight away but it's easier said than done and Robbie has a history of delaying decisions until the last minute. Don should be more concerned with the mess that he has created in his own house but I doubt if he will be able to exert any influence over Nathan's parents. As for the movie. Nathan has been trying to make a video since the boys first met but I can't imagine them actually attempting to make a gay porn flick. Thanks for your comment, @Benji

Yeah, it has been a bit of a journey, but Robbie isn't the most decisive of characters and is easily waylaid by new developments. There is a lot for him to consider but he will not want to do anything that jeopardises his relationship with Nathan. Thanks @Sweetlion

Thank you, @Butcher56 I'm not sure how serious Nathan was being when he mentioned the gay porn thing and I can't see Robbie agreeing to do something like that either although stranger things have happened. They certainly do make a nice couple and are arriving at a good stage of their relationship. Stay tuned!
