Robbie is the narrator and the story is set in Canada. Both countries use 'colour' instead of 'color' and 'honour' instead of 'honor'. Of the English speaking world, I'm pretty sure that only the US spell these words differently, so no apology needed here. I'm also certain that most of my discerning readers will have spotted the typo 'her' knickers, but I appreciate you pointing this out to me so that I can change it. As for the 'eh', well yeah, they do use this quite a bit north of the border, but not as much as people think in the USA. I've tried to reflect that in the story. Thanks for your comment.

Thank you MisterWill. I'm treating this as a positive comment. You're a difficult man to please, but I can assure you that Robbie doesn't end up a druggie, an alcoholic, or even bi-sexual.

I admit to the other mistakes but definitely not to these. Nathan was talking at the time. He would use 'lay' not 'lie', even though it's wrong. Robbie would be even worse because he speaks with a cockney accent but to avoid confusion, I've resisted the temptation to use 'me' instead of 'my' and drop every 'h'. "You ave to remember that me editor was on oliday." Kind of like that, but I didn't think that it would go down too well with my American readers. Personally, I was never that bothered about removing my clothes at that age, but Robbie obviously has a few hang-ups and this is one of them. If he was a perfectly normal 15-year-old boy, there really wouldn't be much to write about and he wouldn't get himself into half of the scrapes that he does.

I guess that I'm not alone in not liking Zane's father, but he has some cool friends with Greg and Celeste, and of course, there is always Clint!

I enjoyed reading this chapter even though I'm a long way behind everyone else. Maybe I should have read 'Fearless' first, but I'm here now and being late to the party means that I'm able to read at my own pace. I'm not sure how to pronounce 'Fjelstead' but I guess it doesn't make a lot of difference.

The only thing that surprises me here, is that you've only pointed out the one mistake. Some of these chapters, I'm sure, are riddled with errors. No editor, I'm afraid, and little experience myself at the time. The early chapters of this story are very raw and I cringe myself if I ever have to read them.

Sorry, @mister will I'm afraid these early chapters were never edited. There is a lot that I would change myself, if I ever got the time. My writing and grammar have improved quite a bit in the two years since this was written, but I guess that's a matter of opinion. Finding an editor has always been a problem for me. Thank you for your comment @redwood Tyrone, pf course, is used to getting whatever he wants. He's constantly told how special he is and believes it. He plays by different rules, mostly because he doesn't really know how to act normal. His life is actually quite sad, which will become apparent later in the story. 'The church' was the nickname given by patrons of an iconic gay nightclub in Central London, during the 90's. The actual name of the club was 'Trade' and it opened just one day a week on Sunday mornings from 4am until 1pm (whence the nickname). It had a reputation for sleaze and drugs and shunned publicity to protect it's illustrious clientele, which was rumored to include high court judges, and government ministers. It gained notoriety and was eventually forced to close after some high profile drug related deaths. The building has since been demolished but I have met people who were regular patrons of the club in the 1990's who still refer to it as 'the church'.

Tyrone has some serious personality issues, which can be blamed, I suppose on the lifestyle and those around him who pamper to his needs and continuously tell him how good he is at everything. I know why they do this, because confidence and self-belief are important tools for any performer, especially when there's not a great deal of actual talent to fall back on. Maybe Andy will be able to take him down a couple of pegs.

I suppose it is sexual harassment. Tyrone is at the pinnacle of a his career, during which time he is extremely valuable to the people making money off him, so they will definitely want to paper over any cracks, that may detract from the image that they need to portray. Andy should prove no more than a minor nuisance for these people, who, as you mention would probably be happy to pay him off, if it ever comes to that.

I don't think that Andy will fall for him in that way and Tyrone is only in Town for a few days. It will be an interesting and testing time for all involved but no heartbreak. Thanks @JayT

That would be interesting; Jazz will definitely want to meet Tyrone although he may not be too keen on the idea. Whether any of them make it to the church remains to be seen.
