    So glad Mikee got Derek to admit that he was sorry and missed Charlie. Hopefully, the boys will get back on the right track if Travis does not cause problems. Loved this chapter.

    Luke is such bad news that even self-centered Derek should be able to read the writing on the wall. I so hope that Derek does not do anything that he can't mend with Charlie because of Luke and his evil person Very intense now wanting to delve into Derek's childhood to find a few answers to understand what makes him tick.

    Very powerful chapter that leaves a lot of food for thought like: why is Derek so homophobic, what has MsC seen in Derek's actions that leads her to believe that he and Charlie have or may have experimented with each other. On to next chapter

    Why do I feel sorry for Derek here? He just lost his best friend involuntarily. Homophobie is rampant in the young.

    So, Dered is supposedly smitten with Charlie's best gff. What a tangled web you weave. It is still amazing to me that Derek is not aware of Charlie's sexuality. Another great chapter

    Leaving childhood is hard and seems that Charlie was comfortable in his and Derek's world that they had been in all their lives. That being said, people change, our thoughts change and mature, and we come to know and wonder about problems, and realities of life. I feel like this is going to go a long way to find the happy ending, but I am hooked!

    Well Derek certainly has plenty of food for thought now. Just where will he go with it, and will he tell Charlie about what happened. You have certainly put all the characters in place for come " come to Jesus meetings."

    EVen tho there was a serious overtone to the chapter with Charlie scared to talk to Derek, all in all, I found them both adorable from the singing part on.

    I don't know who to feel sorrier for of the two. Charlie is scared to come clean with his best friend and Derek is confused as to what is going on with Charlie. Teen years are so hard even between best friends. Great read!

    Derek seems to have the egotistical personality down to a science, and everyone just seems to adhere to it with no malice whatsoever. But Charlie being his best friend doesn't seem to get past it either. He seems uncomfortable in confiding in his best friend. Just started reading thi, so I know I have a ways to go to see what developes here. Love this tho.

    I have read a lot of stories since I have been on GA, and I can honestly say this is in the top three. I will probably re-read it again between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanks for writing such a wonderful story and I LOVED Charlie. Too bad the world does not have more like him. Great job Wayne. Thank YOU!

    Well, you have got me here. I am wondering what the Christmas Day surprise will be. I felt Tina and Ted would be invited and was so glad to see them. Nick and Julie were so appreciative of their gifts. That is what Christmas is for, giving to those who need and appreciate it. Great one again guy!!!!!

    What a beautiful chapter. You know I loved the family gathering for the decorating! Scott is so wonderful for Charlie and I am glad he told Charlie that he loved him and that he had nothing to worry about. I am so lucky to have waited and read this after it was finished. Lovin it!
