Wayne, you have no idea how realistic your writing is. I don't know if I actually posted this, but my mom died at my age from a heart attack. Your waiting room scene was so real. We had a family that was there with us day in and day out.
Well wonder what the deal is with Cameron and the story behind his story.
Better and better WAyne. so thankful i decided to fill my day with this wonderful read
I have to admit this chapter made me cry more than once. My mom died at , and the scenario here was almost a carbon copy of my family WAyne, and it was exactly as a family would react. That being said, who the hell is this guy? I love Scott and Charlie. Please don't screw this up. lol.
More and more interesting. thank u
At this point I have to say "poor everyone", because Barbara is obviously the backbone of this wonderful family. But, hopefully, this will wake Rick up, which it seems maybe it did.
So glad Scott called and is aware of what is going on. I think you captured emotions here perfectly, expecially Charlie's.
I know I keep saying this, but this is an absolutely wonderful story.
You pegged it for a feel good chapter here. Each of them are comfortable, but still can't do enough for each other. I am loving this story so much.
thanx
Wow, beautiful and informative chapter. Rick was totally in bastard mode, and Scott and tonja backed him down.
In hi early fifties huh. That makes it even more interesting.
I have to say that I love Barbara, sounds so much like my mom.
Another good one guy:)
I am so glad I waited until now to read this. Makes the holidays that much more special having such a great story to read that includes my fav time of the year. Thank you
Charlie has got to run out of steam sooner or later, and run for the woods. lol
I certainly hope that he can help Rick Jr. though. Seems like he needs support and a good friend and he has that in charlie.
On to next
I'm with Charlie's mother here. " Finally." LOL. Poor Charlie should feel like Dr. Dolittle with all these crazy animals around.
Black and blue brother, crazy unhinged hyena mom, naked as the day he was born Tiger Teddy, and finally into the menagerie his " going madly crazy without charlie", Scott the Teddy Bear. Charlie probably feels like he needs a whip and a chair. That is until Scott kissed him. lol
The last sentence of this chapter made me truly laugh out loud. There's been so many mornings that I have felt the same way.
Do these people think that Charlie is " Father O' Reilly" or something? Seems everyone looks to him for something, and he does not even know himself.
Next scene please!
So glad the family dinner went without a hitch:P I mean ( picks Charlie up off the floor after Scott tells him he's gay) other than that. lmao
Great one!
I love how this story just carries you along with all the little details, and SLOW moving romance:P. Not really, just impatient for a kiss or something, but who am I fooling? Charlie does not even know he is gay yet.
On to next chapter!!!
Hmmmmm, Charlie has a date and does not even realise it yet.
Can't wait for Scott to put a few subtle moves on him or get close enough to heat Charlie up a little:P
Great chapter Wayne!
Barbara has her warpaint on ready to ride. Charlie is glad he is not the one at the end of her shart tongue.
So, you finally let Scott show up the be the local businessman. Glad I guessed right. Now, I am ready for interaction between the two:P
Well, at least Charlie's time is occupied for now! But I look forward to the conversations between him and Rick and the thoughts that will cross Charlie's.
I guess the book reading will be at Scott's shop:P
Funny how our mom always knows when something is wrong. I am glad for her visit because it allowed Charlie to grieve for himself and gave him the strength to start moving forward.
I feel like he knows the world is not against him now.
Sometimes doing the right things hurts like hell, but you need to do it anyway.
At least Charlie was as broken as Tina, and not a cad about it. This was a very emotional, but much needed scenario to continue with Charlie's saga I think.
The few hints you have subtly dropped I hope are fixing to come into play. Great job!
I love to relax by baking. Maybe the nice smells coming form the kitchen helped Charlie's muddled thoughts.
He did not seem so stressed in this chapter, more or less pondering on what had happened to him in a more relaxed frame of mine.
On to next chapter:)
Charlie seems like a kid as shy as he seems, and since you described him as being of small stature, I can understand Scott thinking he was a student.
Well, seems Mr. Reeds wants more of Charlie's company since he told him he expected him to visit again. Can't wait to see where this goes:)
Mr. Reeds huh? For some reason I thought of Mr. Tibbs when I read that. lol
Charlie certainly took over after the accident didn't he? He sounded more like the man he is instead of the broken human that had just been thrown away because he did not deliver the goods that Tina thought he should.
Can't wait for the man to wake and meet Charlie. This is a great story, and I am loving Charlie more and more.
Charlie's reminiscing of his childhood, and life in general almost took his life. Now, I hope to find out who his rescuer is, and hope that Charlie's life will begin a new path.
Your descriptions are wonderfu, especially about all the members of the family. Of course I am from a large family. lol
