I love the fact Jimmy stood up for himself, but it does seem almost like he's living out a bucket list? Really worrying to be fair. I had a good giggle when I read the comment about Janet Jackson's titty. Class.

How do you get into the mind of a 14 year old boy so well?????? That drama queen tantrum at the end was so spot on! And oh, he enjoyed a kiss with Joanna. Hmmmmmm, poor boys hormones are so tightly wound I'm sure that lick from the neighbourhood dog would make him hard! Well maybe not that extreme haha, but oh I do remember those days.
-
LOL The poor boy can't dance, and he looks at himself dancing in the mirror for however long, and then thinks that Jimmy is a weirdo for staring in the mirror. hehe It is so true, the more you ignore someone, the easier it becomes. You become stubborn in your ignore mode almost. I love that sentence at the close of the entry. "I need to be angry at him for a little while longer." I know that feeling.
-
So young Billy has fallen in - fatuation! I say infatuation as I am not sure he's capable of love that fast, his hormones have run out on him, and little Billy has a hardon for some action! Cute.

I have read and followed a fair few stories on here, and that by far is one of my favourite tales todate. That was sensational and truly heart warming. It is no wonder you have a group of loyal fans that rate and appreciate your writing Sasha, stories like this are one's we'll always remember. Well done my furry friend, that was some stunning work.

And there in lies the route of happiness. Perfection is overrated. Trials and tribulations keep us sane, humble, firmly in touch with reality. Light at the end of the tunnel for Luke.

Bitch slapped twice by a cheerleader. What could be wrong with that? Every man want's a slap from a hot cheerleader. I found the symbolism of Luke putting on Greg's jacket more profound and moving than anything in this story. My heart cried for the boy and the man/brother he's lost. So much hurt to get over and no real idea how it should be done. We just bumble along doing the best we can.

So Luke's been on one hell of an emotional roller coaster, and Erin reacts by pointing the finger and questioning his safety? I thought that was a bit irrational and uncalled for. The fact he has controlled his temper through so much this far and dealt with it is impressive in itself, so yeah, as a reader I am a bit miffed at Erin right now. The flip side of that coin is the vivid reality that it brings to the story. We forget how affected people are by violence, especially when it comes knocking right on their doorstep. We just assume everyone will understand, and because we identify in one way, when someone else has another reaction it falls at odds with us. Hello, this is real life. Not everyone is going to respond in the way you think they should, or expect of them. I love it. Once again I am forced to stop and think now hang on Yettie, this is written to be real, and the mere fact I feel incensed means the author has roped me into this story so much, I am compelled to get hit up about events in the story. Superb writing mate. I just irritated Luke didn't break that idiots nose!

And it is in moments like these where external pressures get forced to the fore that relationships can take a speed wobble. I think Erin is already feeling some of the strain, and I hope that Luke is able to keep a lid on his temper at a time of heightened emotional turmoil. But let's be honest, engaging in open sexuality at school is taking a huge risk, and I guess two horny teenagers probably don't see that as clearly as they should, but hell, let's just be grateful it was Jim that walked in on them and not the coach. Now this was the drama I was expecting. So I am interested to see where you take this.

You know, I sat and thought as I read, and re-read this chapter, that I can't imagine what that must have been like for the creator of these characters to write. It is hard to read, let alone what it must have taken to write. I admire your ability to pull your reader into this world you've created with such commitment and whole hearted involvement. Each are invested in the story, desperately wanting only the best for the characters, content on seeing them happy, and up in arms when anyone dares to attack or hurt them. If that is how much we are invested in the story, what was it like for you? I can only find respect and admiration for the way you've created this tale Sasha. Aside from any comment I might leave to the effect of the chapter, and the feelings it created, I felt it was more important to pause for a moment and consider what effort it must have taken to create this, and give it due consideration and recognition. Thank you. This has and continues to be an amazing story.

Oh! That was a bit sudden. Um, I don't even really know what the hell to say. Processing this one is not going to be easy for any of them, but the effects of guilt and the feelings of blame are going to be sheer murder. Damn Sasha, talk about a curve ball. I had thought things were being a bit too happy for a bit too long, but I'd expected something to go wrong on the team or with one of the twins. I'd not expected it to be such sideline character that we'd see something dramatic happen too. The funny thing is, as little as we know about Greg, the story is written in such a way that his passing is as devastating to your readers as it is to your characters. You can't help but buy into the lives of the boys and their world, that when they are hurting, we are hurting. Really well done, even I do feel somewhat emotional about things right now.

You paint the picture of the generation gap of bigoted ideas perfectly. The only people bothered by two boys in love are the aged, decrepit, stuck in their sorry ass ways, staff and parents. A couple more generations and I think the vast swath of resistance to homosexuality will swing to force people with issues to be the one's in the closet. At least, that's my dream and I'm sticking to it. Lovely chapter Sasha. That was really heart warming and sweet.

Hmmmmmmmm Ok, that reaction from Jameson got me an ikle puzzled. Who cares what Jim thinks? Something's up!?! Luke makes a great captain. I used to have a captain like that when I played waterpolo. Get the team mentality right, half the battle is won. The game play is action packed with detail. Almost like sat watching a telly or listening to commentary on a radio. Good work mate.

Eurgh......... All that build up and then cliff hanger. Dude! I can't help worrying that Chase is a bit of a mischief maker! He's just a bit of a thorn in the side at the moment, I hope he don't become the whole bloody rose bush! The idea of cheerleaders at soccer is a new one. I wonder how that would go down in the Premier League in the UK. hehe.

ROFL Oh how a TV program can shape peoples minds. I couldn't help but think, OMG, House moment as I was reading the clinic bit. And there's everyone in the comments pointing at House MD, haha. Pancakes and syrup. Oooooft they do eat lots of lovely stuff in this story. Damn. I think you also need to write in a stop to the chemist for condoms somewhere!!!!

I remember that nervous energy, your limbs seem to be quivering even though they are not, and you can literally hear your heart beating in your ears. They may have shagged in a pool, but this is yet another new hurdle to cross, so it was just right that he should be scared. Great balance as ever. God they are lucky fuckers. And I did giggle at Jameson advising him not to wonder into the wrong room and cuddling up to the wrong twin. That did tickle my fancy and illicit a good chuckle. Awesome humour.

Oh how delicately sumptuous. That was so heavenly erotic and sensual. Such sensible boys. Erm, just not at all sure I buy that a swimming pools water makes entry easy!

OMG I can't believe you!!!!! Raspberry and Macadamia Nuts. Feck you know how good that sounds???? We used to have a Macadamia nut tree in our garden in Zimbabwe, and they produce wheel barrows full of nuts each season. It was a family past time to have a big family BBQ ( or braai as we call em ) and then sit in the evening air cracking nuts. i LOVE macadamia nuts And I suddenly have this urge to see Luke in this speedo. That sounds soooooo hot! I like that you've added a bit of tension among the friends. Rings true to life. Can't be pretty perfect all the time. Gets too sickly sweet when stories go too right.
-
OMG These two are being TOOOOOOOOOOOO sensible now!!!!!!! LOL Me finks that Luke would be a cheap date on a night out in a pub. Pretty smooth party to be fair. I can recall a few of my school day parties, and although most were pretty cool, someone always managed to get sick! Had to giggle at Derek asleep with Jim. Too cute.
-
I love how you've created this warm, loving relationship between the twins, and how Jameson is making sure he's got his eye on the ball where his brother is concerned. It must also be really nice to have that reassurance and support in Luke's shoes. Trying to guess what someone is thinking is impossible, yet we all do it. Here, he's got the next best thing, a brother hardwired to his sibling. Can I just say. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I didn't have to wait like the others. I can only assume by the comments that there was a pause in updates. Next chapter me finks.

So, as a reader, I love that you've stopped to take the time to consider the things that as I reader I might be wondering reading the story. Sublime attention to detail. So Erin had to have had some experience. I had wondered how much, but he had to be 'knowledgeable' to have been so bold in the shower right! And my oh my, aren't these boys being super sensible. Good pace too. Great chapter mr!

Yada Yada Yada Thankfully it was just a snog and not much more, or they'd never have lived that down! Pretty cool that his folks accept that he's gunna be sleeping with his bf, and aren't all worked up about it. That's very liberal of them. I did wonder to myself if Jeremy is effected by this all now he's been sidelined and forgotten so quick. His missing bike on the drive made me wonder if maybe he regrets being a bit of a prude.
-
Shy, small, tentative steps of a blooming love taking shape? These two seem really well suited right now. I'm sure that its early days yet, we shall see, but I do think that despite the hiccup with his not so out ex, Luke's landed with his bum in the butter again! Pizza with mayo! That's a new one. I'ma gunna have to try that now!

Chapter 1: Microscopic Carbon and a Big Ship
Yettie One commented on David McLeod's story chapter in Chapter 1: Microscopic Carbon and a Big Ship
Wow, not every day you hear of a 16 year old being able to blow 6 billion dollars. What it must be to be able to afford anything you might want. I wonder if their research will help find a solution to the 146 listed 'dead zones' (hypoxic areas) in our oceans.
