Another excellent chapter! I like that Jenny now knows about Corey and Clinton. I feel bad for Corey as well. It is hard enough being a teenager, but having parents struggling with finances makes it even worse.

I enjoyed this short story immensely. I had a strange feeling when the ring was mentioned early in the story that there might be more to the relationship than just two guys hooking up at a hotel. I was glad to find out that my suspicions were well founded. I love stories that keep me wondering and this one did that.

I really don't care about the details of the agreement to end the NHL lockout. All I care about is getting NHL hockey back on my TV. Have you ever tried cooking it in the oven? I can't cook bacon on the stove and microwaved bacon is awful. Plus, you can use parchment paper and there is far less mess.

Am I the only one who read this and thought bacon sounded good right now? I'm worried if I shave with this product and a guy kisses me afterwords and smells bacon he might decide to bite me instead. Eek!

Celethiel, Thanks for your review. My intent was to focus on how the two stopped being friends and how they were able to reignite that friendship. As for the story seeming unfinished, I would like to think that Danny and Mitch still spend time together even though Danny is married.

Ashi, Thanks for reading and reviewing the story. I've always been one to reject easy outcomes in stories where all the characters end up being gay, or everything works out perfectly. Mitch would have loved to spend his life with Danny, but in the end he had to settle for just friendship. They couldn't just run into each other and decide to be friends again. It took effort on both of their parts to make the friendship work again. Isn't that true of all friendships and relationships? Both have to want it to work.
