Cure myself of procrastination and laziness!

Yeah. You should see the stupid wars between the Heroes of Newerth and the League. The League accuses Newerth of being DOTA ripoffs. Yet DOTA ripped many things off WC3, and Leage ripped of DOTA. Hypocrites.

Well last week Saturday I went with my fam to do major shopping for food and other items. As we were heading back to the car we were accosted by this guy collecting charity. We didn't really have anything much left to spare and the ATM was a distance away (and it was raining to boot). So we kinda tried to gently tell the guy off. But he was real persistent and basically said in public with other people watching that we were stingy etc. and it was a shame given the season - without even knowing us or what we do. We do give to charity and I volunteer at a shelter. But anyway the guy wouldn't quit and judging my his T-shirt I saw that he was Catholic. So I got damn mad and said I don't see why they were pestering us for money for the poor when the pope and friends live in palaces and dine of gold and silver and cloth themselves in brocade. They should ask their papal father for some handouts, that is if he can spare some money given his anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-birth control drives and child molestation cover-ups and lawsuits. It stunned all present and we made a quick getaway. I don't know if it really ranks as stupid but I sure as HELL don't regret it.

Thank God for my parents who kept and still keep the spirit of the 80s alive. I was not fortunate enough to be a child of the 80s. But at least I am not a child of the 2000s. The 80s was like a golden age for music compared to now. You had to really search hard for a bad song. Lots of one hit wonders!

Sometimes I wonder about it myself. I mean I believe in non-romantic love of course. But...you my friend sound like you (as do many of us) have had your heart broken. As to this post... I cannot fathom how LOVE vs LUST can happen at first sight. How can you love someone when 1) You don't know their name 2) Their favorite color 3) Their birthday 4) If they're a neo-Nazi or a child molestor 5) Furthermore, their moral/ethical character 6) Mutual likes? Dislikes? Things in common? 7) Political affiliations (I would NEVER date a man who's a Log Cabin Republican and if I find out after we started - dumped). 8) Whether they are part of some weird religious cult 9) Their family, because when you 'marry' him/her you marry their family too and god...pi$$y mother in laws can put a real strain on your relationship. 10) You only SEE their physical makeup. Even if you are going on pure shallowness...how do you know he/she doesn't just look like a Ferrari but drives like a Ford?

Understandable. I just hold onto the keepsake from when I was a little kid.
