Ok, so I was wrong....maybe. I have this hunch that Jacob is not truly 'dead'. Not in the sense that we understanding from the unfolding of the story. The question remains: What did Victor gain from helping Adam to live but letting Jacob die? If he was all about death then why not let things unfold the way the Seer foretold? They would both be dead and he would have what he wanted, death. I am inclined to believe that Jacob is somewhat alive but as an 'undead' as is Victor. That Adam cannot feel or talk to him cause Jacob is now shrouded, just as Victor, in layers of the undead. Just a theory as I cannot see Victor gaining anything by really letting Jacob just die. He also let Adam and Jacob know at the Seer's cave that he 'wanted' Jacob. Again, just a theory I have in my mind.

You've had my mind spinning every since Adam saw the seeker when she told him 'one will die' and then she showed him the faces of his friends. I immediately assumed that she meant one would die in the battle for the city. Since that point tho I have began to wonder more and more if, as it was pointed out that some of what the Seeker says is open to interpretation and even can be altered, if what she was speaking of was more along the line of Jacob's meeting with Victor. After all she never said 'one would die' during the battle. Then again with the old prophecy that was revealed to Adam and Brian in the infirmary it again leads one to believe that the 'Great One' would die during the battle. However that too could be interpreted differently as the meaning could be that the one that saves the city would have died. It never says when he would die or specifically that it would be during the battle. It could be that, if indeed it is speaking of Jacob, that it is in reference to his meeting with Victor and drinking the potion. The prophecy would still be the same. The one who saves the city will die. It was just a matter of when he died...before or after the saving of the city. Just a thought really but I'm interested to see how it plays out.

I had to return. I loved your story, Charlie so I had to check this one out. I'm liking it so far. Hope the remaining chapters are as good as this one. Looking forward to them!

There is a Hurricane coming and it has Gabe and Riley's name written all over it. Gabe being the strong gale force winds and Riley being the calm and seductive eye. Hope Grandma's house survives, lol. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Gabe being Kyle's first love will be hard to walk away from. That is evident when Kyle, his father and two sisters are in the bedroom and the topic of loving Gabe comes up. Kyle denies it profusely but then almost has a melt down filled with guilt over kissing Riley (and enjoying it too I might add). Some say that puppy love is a trifle thing. An immature child's infatuation that isn't true or deep. Pish-posh on that...it is real and can be as strong as any mature and heartfelt love out there. I think it is also one of the hardest to move past. I do not envy Kyle in this moment. Riley is a bit forward, that is for sure. The man's got balls of steel and as large as bowling balls but I guess if you want something then you just have to go for it. Can't blame him for doing that now can we, lol. I like Riley but there just seems to be something that I can't put my finger on that has me hesitant about him. Guess I'll/we'll see what he is really like in the following chapters.

The fact that U can't feel Pasha should have been his first clue that something was wrong. His next clue should have been when Gabriel starting making passes at him. I think someone needs to put Gabriel on a stick and roast him over an open fire pit like a roasted pig! Did that come across that i don't like Gabriel, lol? Now I am sure that Gabriel was the one that let Michael thru to get Pasha so he could work on U and try to get him back. Something also tells me that Gabriel is trying to manipulate and control U's mind here at the end. I won't say I am certain but I don't think the 'darkness' rushing towards U is unconsciousness but instead that of Gabriel trying to take control of his mind. I may be out in left field and if so then ok but I've feel some bad joo joo coming up.

What an amazing story. I loved every bit of it and was sad to see it end....but....I see it is titled 'Book 1" so I am hoping that the story will continue. I'll make sure that I keep checking back to see if the continuing saga has been posted.

I'm not liking this appearance of Michael...not one bit! Why do I feel like he is going to use U's boyfriend as bait, blackmail and try and lure U into a death trap. Also how did Michael make it past the guard Angels? Did he subdue them, kill them or just slip past unnoticed? Why do I have the feeling that Pasha is in for a world of hurt, maybe some torture and may be even death? Michael would have to know that U would be able to feel what Pasha does. Oh, this isn't going to be pretty.

Onyx reminds me of a horse from the ranch I worked on named Midnight Bell. She seemed to hate most everyone and always tried to chase them out of her stall but her and I got alone well. We used to have a game we played were she would nudge my ball cap off my head and then pick it up for me. This story is bringing back a lot of memories-great ones too. Enjoying reading this story!

These two, Corbin and Pete, are going back and forth, round and round so much they are starting to confuse me. The Patsy Cline song comes to mind, "Stop the World and Let Me Off". Yep, definitely getting dizzy from these two. I think Corbin just needs to lay a big, fat, juicy french kiss on Pete and get it over with once and for all! Pete will either reciprocate or run away never to talk to Corbin again. One way or another the tension between these two has got to let up or they are both going to have a meltdown of gigantic proportions.

Hmmm, yummmm...Dylan. Glad he made a cameo appearance. Nice way of meeting someone. Run them over with your car, lol. Wonder if what once was could be once again with Kyle and Riley? Sometimes its all about the timing. Let's hope they make a better run of it this time around then last- as it seems the last one ended with broken hearts.

You have to have a heart for it to be ripped out and I don't think Gabri'el has one. Well, he might but its probably dried, puckered and so shriveled that if you touched it the thing would burst into dust. I don't doubt that Gabri'el loves...his own agenda and cause but certainly not Uriel. I'm thinking that if he did then the two of them would have created a bond which would have made it impossible for Uriel and Pasha to form one. I also don't believe that Gabri'el is going to give up. I think he'll rework things, plot, scheme and do whatever he can to get what he wants regardless of who he hurts.

I'm a little confused. You refer to "Jeremy" as the brother, runner, the one at the club, out in the alley and then the one kidnapped by the woman. However in this chapter when he is eating his breakfast and then speaking to her she calls him "Jerome". Can you clarify is his name is Jeremy or Jerome???

I didn't really read your post here on the site. I did however buy the book thru Amazon. I must say that it was a great read. There were a few areas that seemed to jump a little and I found I had to reread a few times to piece together but once I did all was well. I just wanted to leave a review here seeing that I couldn't do it via the book.

oH, oh, Oh....a jealous former lover, a current confused and none remembering Angel and a loving human....quite the interesting situation. Syill not so sure I would have had the guts to stand up to an Arch Angel tho. Ballsy...they must be made of brass, lol. I can't help but picture some Chip-n-Dales when I think of Gabriel and Uzriel...maybe even Pasha, YUM Oh to be a fly on the wall in that room.

Again I find myself not leaving reviews because I was too caught up in reading and wanting to devour the story. Sorry about that but who can blame me. Sar, Glory, Rover and now Felix all make for a wonderful read and an exciting tale. I am so looking forward to the next story!

Nephylim, what tangled web are you weaving now, lol? Interesting start to the story. You have me scratching my head. Wondering if this 'Angel" really is bad or not. Guess there is only 1 way to find out. Keep reading so on to the next chapter.

Its a word with such meaning but it some how fails to truly convey the strength of this story and the ability of your writing but none-the-less it is the only word I can think of to convey my thoughts on this story....Amazing!

Is it possible to die from laughing too hard? I think I might here from what Jayden just did to her. I had an immense amount of respect for Jayden before this chapter but now its simply over flowing and cannot be contained. Everyone gets their come-upins and she certainly gots hers served on a very cold paper plate and I think she might have actually had her nose rubbed in it a bit too, WAY to GO Jayden!!!!!!!!

This is intense. Probably the most intense story of yours that I have read. You've capture and placed on paper all the emotions a human soul can go through and done it with, what seems like, such ease and ability. I find myself having to take small breaks from the story not because of the stories but because of the strong emotions that this story is bringing out. A true sign of a very gifted writer! The story is awesome and very well written, Nephylim.

Don't you dare kill off Jayden. Not at this point. He has fought so hard all his life and now that he has found his love you can't take that away from them, pretty please with a cherry on top

You r doing it again, Nephylim. U r making me cry. That is not meant in a bad way or as a negative but as a compliment. As a show of your ability to grab hold of a reader and draw them into your story. Make them feel the raw emotions within the story and each character. I says a so much about your ability as a writer.

Tonight, my love, tonight we will fly and no one will ever hurt you again.”...Doesn't sound good. I have a feeling that she is going to do something very rash. Like a Romeo and Juliet thing but without the mutual love thing. Sick, sick, sick and more sick- she be!!!!!

Sick and twisted is just 2 of many words that come to mind about Bella. Someone needs to sew her lips shut, place her in a padded room with a nice white coat that ties in the back. Then she can hug herself all day long. Can ya tell I don't like her?

Hmmm, wonder who Siona could be and where she is taking him? I have a bad feeling that he will not be missed for a little while as I reflect on Jayden's past- leaving for days on end without word and then returning. Wonder if he will be returning this time. Interesting that Jayden's friend Cal and him seem to 'eye' each other but then go about with girls. Hmmm, wonder if there is more there then either of them will admit? So many questions and yet I just finished chapter 1. Its geared up to be a facinating and exciting read. Looking forward to emercing myself in their world and seeing where the tide takes me.
