This is my try at the word prompt for the week, let me know what you think lol.
"Okay who's brilliant idea was it to put me on this damn godforsaken horse? It should come with a damn warning label."
By this time I'm in so much pain i just want to get home and go to bed. This has been the day from hell and I want it over with.
" I'm sorry for yelling into the phone but right now I would really like to go home and I can't, I'm stranded out here in the field with no way to
get home since my ankle is sprained hopefully not broken.".......
I listen to my sister as she tells me it will take about 30 minutes before she can get the ATV out to me, so I said fine and closed the phone

My mind drifts as i sit with my back propped against the tree, the very same tree that just put the final nail in an already crappy day.
Do you ever have one of those days when no matter what you do it just seems to come back to bite you in the butt. I got up this morning
looking forward to a week off work, I was going to relax, putter around the house and pretty much take it easy for the week. But that lasted
for about 2 hours.I truly love my sister but sometimes I really wish she lived on the other side of the country. She runs a stable outside of
town, she offers a place to board horses and has horses you can rent to ride. It is surprisingly busy all year around for all ages though
right now its been mainly the young kids looking for something to do during school break. She called me up she needed help today, a
couple of the guys that work for her called in and she desperately needed someone who could ride around just checking the fields and that
to make sure everything was going well. She had found that having someone ride around during the day kept the kids from being to
rambunctious without them feeling that they were under lock and key. Not exactly my idea of fun, don't get me wrong i ride just fine but I'm
more the chair behind the desk sort than the butt in the saddle kind of guy. Well to make a long story short I let my mouth run off trying to
impress a really cute guy and I might have said I was a bit more experienced riding and that there wasn't a horse I couldn't ride. How was I
to know that my sister had a horse that when it sees apples it plows through or in my case tries to jump a fence to get to the bloomin apple
tree. So yes It was my brilliant idea to ride this horse but no one told me about the his one little quirk so it's not my fault.
I must have dozed for a bit cause the next thing i hear is the faint sound of 2 ATV's as they came flying across the field. If i wasn't in a embarrassing enough predicament already it was about to get worse, cause lo and behold guess who was on the ATV. None other than the guy I was trying to impress earlier. Both my sister and him looked at me leaning against the apple tree, then at the horse standing on the other side of the broken fence calmly munching on an apple it had plucked from the tree then back at me.
Just as my sister opened her mouth to say something, I put my hand up and said" Don't even go there just get me back to the ranch so I
can get a doctor. I just want to go home and forget this day even happened."
After about five minutes of listening to them laugh there fricken heads off they got me on the ATV and got me back to the ranch. I got back to the ranch, a doctor was called and I found out I not only broke my ankle but sprained my wrist. After a lot of debate i ended up staying at the ranch for my week of vacation, which may seem like relaxing but wasn't since my loving sister constantly teased me about my riding skills. To top it off I swear every night we had an apple dish at dinner. Just shoot me now!!
