Can any one here tell me how to find that thread on Snakes that was in the Lounge? I can't find it. I don't how to go back further than the three pages showing or if it is even possible to do so?
Thanks in advance

Some of the previous posts' pictures can no longer be viewed. So if I duplicate one of yours, it was not intentional, sorry.

Call me stubborn, but I really think that some of you are finding these last two videos to be as fascinating to watch as I am?

(I will persist)
This video is an example of one of the reasons I started this thread. I think that everyone that views it will find something that interests them, piques their curiosity or adds to their knowledge and desire to learn something new. Please enjoy.

(I have that tune they used (with the Ice cream truck)to lure the Triffids away with, playing in my mind)
note: " The Day of the Triffids ", was one of my favorite movies.
Well it is now official, all the crap from when I was a kid are worthless. The following items however are, as the title says, worth way to much money (and I don't have any of them).

I do not seek out having pain intentionally inflicted upon myself. So what comes next is not how I would choose to make a living. No sane person would.
This guy is not playing with a full deck!

(I flinched just watching this)
aditus just posted a picture titled '' last rose winter ''. A real beauty, but sad that it would soon be gone. Then this tune popped into my head to help make sense of it all.

Multi talented, with a career spanning six decades, a trooper to the end. So much more, but will mayhaps, be best remembered as Carol Brady. It is my first thought when her name is mentioned.
That song and that scene are what plays in my mind (you too?)
And if you are of a mind too and able to go there. You could put your hands where hers left their impression and feel a closeness to her one last time.
RIP Florence Agnes Henderson (Carol Brady)

The next time you find yourself saying why me? Why do I deserve this? I'm just not lucky, it's so not fair. Watch this video and then think just how lucky you really are and make the best of it.
This man is an inspiration and unlike most of us, he is making a difference and will leave his mark in this world of ours.

You have my vote! It grabbed my attention from the start to the finish. I have staked out my claim to the front row center seat and have placed my reserved for card on the seat, as I/we wait for your next showing.
Well done sandrewn
Last and I wasn't sure I should post this one. Then I thought, who am I to say that just seems so wrong, in so many ways and will offend every one at some point. At the risk of having unlikes brought back just for me, here goes.

It's your Thanksgiving! With only one turkey with a presidential pardon, the rest are not happy campers. It is nice to know that there are some people out there who are on the turkeys' side (sort of).
Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing all my American friends and especially those that are serving far from home a very Happy Thanksgiving! Be happy and keep safe.
Today is the first day of the rest of your lives. Best foot forward, walk on.

Oh Crap! I missed this one. I was born 3 years to late for the previous one(1948) and the next is in 2034. I guess I will just have to beat the odds and hang around until I'm 84 to see the next one. Well, it's a plan any ways.
I don't suppose any of you guys (TalonRider???) managed a picture or two? There are always the observatory web sites, but it is not the same as a personal pic.

With Remembrance Day today, a still fresh in our minds election and with all the other events (cr_p) happening around us, this song came to mind.

Q: do any of you recall my post in(Events & Items of Interest) on Cod Pieces, you might of noticed one in the video, just saying.
In view of what I said in the 'Pit' this Irving Berlin song is needed now. It is the right time and the right place. I think her intro(Kate Smith) was very appropriate.
