  1. Thanks, Suvitar, I'm glad you appreciate the relaxed chapter as well. Sometimes, in our zeal of writing interesting stuff we forget the need for pleasant, ordinary and calm situations.

    Chapter 4

I now like Jackson's parents even less, particularly his mom. She's pathetic with her fake effort of pretending to have nice Sunday dinners and I loved that he busted the attempt. Of course, I wish he would give Luke a chance, but how can she not see that her pushing him to do so will make Jackson even more determined to ignore Luke. And the funniest part is, if she knew the potential attraction between them, she would probably keep them apart. Oh, and if Jackson is correct about his parents' reaction to him being called names, punched in the head and kicked, I may write them off forever. I sincerely hope he stays strong and keeps ignoring their BS. Love the story, Krista, and will happily wait for more chapters.
  3. Welcome back, and if you haven't gotten the Team Rob T-shirt already, please proceed to the story discussion forum for one. I'm glad you liked this chapter, I had such fun writing it.

    Chapter 4

So Valkyrie got it right and I got it wrong. Tris is the blond jock and not the skinny kid, but after Brandon's obnoxious behavior I'm kind of relieved. I guess Tris puts up with him as a friend, because he didn't abandon him as his two good friends did after finding out he was gay. Or perhaps Brandon latched on to him as a friend, since he pisses everyone else off. I'm glad Ehren spoke up for himself. I loved Ehren's confusion at the parents asking if their kids are fighting over him. I hope Piper doesn't feel that way about Ehren, but I think she treats him more like a brother than a potential boyfriend. She's so cool and sensible, and I'd hate to see her do the silly crushing-on-the-gay-guy act. Now all I want to know is how Ehren will react when Tris cuddles up to him during the night. If he jumps out of bed, scared silly, poor Tris will be mortified. By the way, I really liked that Ehren caught on to how Tris had been hurt, even if he didn't know the reason, and did his best to reevaluate his first impressions.
  5. The tall blond man in front of Patrick didn’t seem to notice the impact he had on the cardmaker. He gestured at the window and his son. “Michael was asking about Valentine's Day. It's not so common in Denmark. I tried to explain, and he wanted me to get a card. He ... he doesn't understand I haven't got anyone to buy it for.” “Would you like to come inside and see the shop? I can make some tea, and there's orange juice and biscuits.” Patrick was surprised at himself over the spontaneou
  6. Oh yum, cherry flavoured jocks and chocolate. Please tell me those glass gift are what I think they are. Although, I'm sure they may only be used with Colt's present.
  7. YAY, you followed the link and liked the LOLCat topic, awesome. I really hoped some readers would, it has me every so often.
  8. Thank you, CM, yes Colin did worry quite a bit, I'm happy you thought it was credible. I'm very pleased you noticed how Ken did his best to find gifts especially suitable for Colin rather than just 'ordinary' Valentine stuff. It was one of the main themes of the story.

    Story

Thank you, Caz, I'm delighted you say the SA wasn't obvous, because I did my best to hide it, by presentig several options. Solomon was actually my starting point after the idea of a secret admirer. And for saying the story was well written.

    Story

Yeah, umh, so I tried to answer a couple of questions about the story here.

    Story

Thanks for leaving such a lovely, long review. I loved that you commented on the volunteering. It was exactly what I had in mind, when I decided Colin would spend his spare time this way. And did you notice that Ken's work hours during the weekend meant that Colin could go on giving his time to the shelter? He would probably ask for Wednesdays off, and I'm sure Elizabeth would be happy to grant it. You have a good idea of Colin's character and why Ken likes him, loves him in fact. I think they'll be happy together. I'm not sure I want to dig up Colin's past, but perhaps... He'll need to take Ken home to see the family, and that may shed some light on matters, if they run into the ex.

LOL, Thorn, I know. Not as cute and fluffy as Spidey and Wade, but I did my best. ;(

Thank you, jfalkon, that's a great compliment from my oint of view since I made every effort to make Colin appear this way. I'm glad you liked him.

    Story

Thank you, Def, and also for my story getting your vote. I'm glad you felt the story worked, both in the reluctance and the acceptance of a new chance. I hoped Ken would come across as the right guy, and I'm every tome a reader agrees.

    Story

Well done Sherlock LBO on getting the SA right in the story. But at least you couldn't guess who wrote it. Thank you so much for the praise for the story and the writing. It means a great deal to me, as I spend a lot of effort on improving my writing (with excellent help from my editors / betas). Your last sentence made my day I hope you'll try some of my other stories.

thank you my Swedish friend, I'm glad you approve. Yes, of course meeting Sol was the final test.

    Story

LOL, Suvitar, this was already the longest of the SA stories, and you want more. But I'll take it as a compliment, so thanks. I'm glad you liked both the characters and the story, as I worked hard to make it good. for reading and reviewing.

    Story

Thanks, buddy. I'm very glad the story met your criteria for romantic, and that you were pleased with Ken being the secret admirer. Solomon was written with CG in mind, I miss him a lot. I hope you'll tell him about the dedication.

    Story

Thanks Robert, I don't think you can give me higher praise than wanting to have a drink with Colin. Your description of my characters have me smiling with pride. Though I'm not sure I know what you mean by 'other directed'

Thank you, Tim, I'm glad you liked the full story. Special thanks for your help with the street boys and shelter aspects. I appreciated it.

    Story

Thank you, Lisa. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I hadn't thought about the ex-boyfriend, but I loved the idea of my readers thinking up even more possible suspects. You're right about Colin being 100% devoted, thank you for pointing that out. Ken's remark about trying to flirt was one of my favorite moments too. As for how Pete knew Colin was gay, see my own sneaky review.

    Story

As a matter of fact, Solomon was not only inspired by CG's stories about his cats, but also by your own Penguin stories. You'll see once the dedication gets added. I'm happy you liked Colin and Ken, I think they're good for each other. I've had so much fun with LOLcats, that topic makes me Thank you for reading and reviewing.

    Story

Thank you Cole, that means a lot coming from someone who is a master of creating interesting and rounded fictional characters. I'm delighted Colin felt real to you, and that you wanted for him to find love. I hope the ending fulfilled your wish.

    Story

I'm sort of glad you felt the pain of the past, even if there were no details given. It was meant to make his reluctance and healing more touching, and I can see I achieved that. What a relief - thank you for letting me know

    Story

Thank you for helping me with Colin's journey, AC. I love it when I make you shed tears, then I know I've done well in the romance aspect of the story.
