I have actually seen Julius Cæsar performed in a theater in Stratford-upon-Avon many years ago. Quite awesome, and I did know the 'Ides of March' quote before that. Of course, Hamlet is very popular in Denmark (including the 'rotten' line), but I've read or seen (movies of) several other plays, including Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Troilus and Cressida, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry V (Once more unto the breach, dear friends), Richard III (A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse), A Midsummer Night's Dream and several others. One of the things on my bucket list is to go to the Globe in London and see a Shakespeare play.

This is the Granger I appreciate most, honorable, kind and modest.

Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
Timothy M. commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Jeremy, Jack, and the Mob
There would be a lot less drama at family gatherings, if Jack disappeared permanently. I have been wondering whether he is ill - like a brain tumor or something. Of course, now that I have brought the idea up, it will be something else. -
I will become a broken record and repeat myself: maybe after this Travis will start listening to Will and his good sense.
-
If Travis survives, I hope he'll have learned to listen to Will in the future.
-
Rattlesnakes 🪱 I love it !

I can't wait to see what Will, Brad and Steff will do to the guy who raped Travis. I bet it will be something devious and devastating.

Granger always lives up to our best expectations, including gifting a bottle to his devoted man servants.

Thanks, Bill. No follow up as yet, but I will keep you posted, if it ever happens. Your comment, likes and story review made me read the story again myself, and now I'm wondering about Gil's story.

Well done, Brad - both with the phone call to Will, and calling out the hypocrites. Not sure the Thor Therapy will work, but let's hope so for both their sakes. I'm off to update the List.

Serves Jeremy right. Kudos to Travis for being loyal and understanding about Will's feelings.
-
Granger should have asked for the bottle of lavender oil to take back, but I guess he would have had problems hiding it on his person. Let's hope Winkler gets one of the bottles as reward for buying a good supply.

Thank you, my friend. I'm glad you think the blog is useful. I'm quietly proud of my reviews and being in charge of the Review Team.

The best thing about this series is whenever Granger shows how clever, honorable and kind he is. Trust him to find a way to reward loyal and talented sailors with jobs, while saving money and advancing his house building at the same time.

Well, guess it's time to update the list. Assuming you still want me to do that, Mark ?

Thank you so much for leaving a comment, and even more for the kind words about my writing. They are very much appreciated.

I would guess Caroline is clever enough to realize that agreeing to this scheme will earn her some credit with the Queen, Amelia and Granger, which might help her return to polite society and gain the influence she craves. But how will her oldest son react to Granger suddenly being with his estranged wife again? But I wonder how they will prevent the midwife and the servants from spreading gossip about who was the real mother of the child. And unless Amelia was very fast in realizing her pregnancy, so she is less than two months gone, the timing of the birth could bring trouble. Though if they stay secluded at Cowes for a few extra months, they may be able to carry out the deception. Let's hope Granger will get much more quality time with Calvert in future years as a reward for all this trouble.
-
For once both Will and Jeremy made sensible decisions at the same time. I look forward to reading future Will parts without any mention of his ex-brother. I will be polite and say that hopefully Jeremy will become as adult as his name at some point, and that his reward will be future happiness with Kris.
-
Some of my favorite CAP moments are those where Will calls his family on their hypocrisy and unjust behavior. Will has plenty of faults, but being dishonest and dishonorable are not among them. Hmmm, I wonder whether that is why Jeremy is so attracted to Kris, because he is a lot like Will.
-
I agree. Now we know why Stef left to make a call when Will and the others went into the study to talk things over with Casey. He knew Will would need Darius, so he called him and arranged for his plane to pick Darius up. Smart move, Stef. I never liked the name JJ (presumably pronounced JayJay it is very childish in a non-cool way); however Jays is only slightly less silly. Why doesn't he use one of the proper names he was christened with ? Does anyone recall what they are ? John ? James ?
-
They should just write JJ off as a member of the family - most of us have done that years ago.

Ohh, I might actually be inspired to write a little something. (putting on my thinking hat) @Aditus can we come up with some funny habits for our imps, angels or cupids ?

I agree, including whether the parent, whose father this is, knows about it. Kris could have a paternal grandfather who is a prince and a maternal grandfather who is a Nazi spy, although is seems as if they are talking about the same parson. If Kris lives a life of integrity, honesty and charm due to his imagined heritage, it may not be a good idea to tell him. But if they do, I think they should let JP tell Kris on his own. Kris should be the one to decide whether he wants to tell his snobbish boyfriend now, later or never.

George is so clever, he flatters the King by asking his advice and at the same time gets his approval for his new mistress.

I'm glad someone noticed how unusual my comment was. My defense of JJ will probably never happen again.
