I bet it'll take Trents voice and kiss to get Josh out of unconsciousness ;-) And a lot of hard work by Trent to rebuild both their relationship and their home. But somehow I think Trent will be able to accept happiness that he has to strive to achieve rather than have it fall into his lap like it did before. I look forward to seeing how the story unfolds - hopefully in several hot and sweet chapters.

I very much like their banter, fun as well as romantic. BUT not the best way to keep their relationship secret. Just takes one person to overhear and it's out. Oh well never mind, the story is great. -

Just read the news about Robbie Rogers who stopped his football career and then came out. Some of the comments he has made about how impossible it is to be gay and play soccer at the same time just shows that this story is spot on. So sad. Great story in so many ways, can't wait to see how it ends. My only objection (to this chapter) is that you let them kiss in the car outside Peter's apartment. Way too risky even if it's away from campus and other parts of town frequented by people who know Jason. Kissing in any public place is not being careful. -
I like all your Cathera tales, but this one is my favorite. Especially the interaction in the cafe at the start of the story, and later on in the coffee shop. I just laughed at the instant image I got of Calix's delighted and surprised face when Jerret asked if he wanted a kiss. It's easy to imagine them as business partners as well a s mates, playful and intense in both love and work. Wouldn't mind a sequel at some point.

Very nice and compelling - and impressively authentic on the Christmas tree farm setting - though you forgot the 'formal Noble fir' in the list of trees I would certainly like to read a sequel to this story, I have the feeling it would (also) be totally hot !

Very sweet love story and I'm glad Justin was not stupid enough to reject love. But I also understood his reasons for hesitating and respected both of them for being honest and careful with each other. I had to look up the Reptilicus reference, I didn't know about this Danish film. Made me laugh.

Your Riding Lessons series are great and I enjoy learning about horses and riding. But I wish you'd asked someone with medical knowledge about the convulsions bit. It's a myth that you have to stick something in the mouth of people who is having an epileptic fit. In fact you are more likely to do damage to their teeth and tongue that they would do themselves. You're helping perpetuating this mistake, and I wish you'd let the nurse on the phone tell them NOT to do something stupid like that. But otherwise I'm hooked on this story and the characters.

I had to read this story several times in order to really appreciate it. But somehow it gradually got under my skin, and even now - though I know it has a happy ending - reading the part with the break-up makes my gut clench. Impressive in all its understated, tense, realistic romance. In addition, the idea that Marcus calls 'his biggest lie' is actually one of the things I respect about him. Even if in the end he does become a threat to Trevor's marriage, he didn't set out to do this. And so I feel that he is being too harsh in judging himself, even if I can understand why he feels bad about the affair.
