  1. I liked the lore implied, that you cannot simply challenge the alpha without grounds and approval from the elders. Of course, more of their story would be great, but I think you chose a good place to stop.

    Chapter 1

Yikes Parker, you nearly gave me a heart attack. I was so relieved when the nasty agents weren't allowed to remove our two boys. Great story in spite of the sad background.

    The Epicure

Great story. I wonder why Jeff became an agent in the first place? And now I have to go and find some food.
  4. More than a Pact still makes me lol
  5. Thank you for letting us know, Mark. We will start hunting down your writing muse and cajole, bribe or force him to pay you a nice visit. Failing that, we'll patiently wait for you to regain your inspiration to write. Take care.

    Chapter 8

Shade is somehow the least shady person Casey has met so far. Although, I'm beginnng to like Rodney, but if I were Casey I wouldn't trust him yet. Perhaps try telling him about Lane being molested and see how he reacts. I cannot help hoping Casey will at least make Lane's life a lot better, and open the eyes of Karen and his father to what a jerk Curtis is. By the way, I wonder why Karen buys food to be cooked, when she doesn't seem to do any family meals. But perhaps she and/ or the idiot cook during the week-end?

    Chapter 7

Casey's father is an idiot. But Casey should have kept his temper for a bit longer to see what the 'rules' were. Perhaps they were not as stupid as his mother's. Karen is at least trying, but I'm not impressed with her efforts on her own sons, so I'm not sure how much help she is. Interesting to see I was wrong when I lumped Rodney in with Curtis.
  8. Tillykke med fødselsdagen happy waving of Danish birthday flags
  9. I'm with LL, I wanted to punch Faris for beng such an idiot, but I gues he made up for it by relocating. He was lucky James hadn't found someone else, and forgave him. Great beginning and the smurf had me
  10. Thanks, LL, I'm very happy with your assessment of Peter and Patrick. They are both kind and practical, and I think you're right that their strengths enhance each other. It's interesting how you compare Peter with Jacob (from CC). They are alike, I know, but mainly because they come from the same sort of background (as do I). I created Peter first, and I did worry about whether Jacob was too similar, apart from sharing the blue eyes and blond hair. But Peter is an adult man, a father and provider, secure in his own self, and Jacob is still maturing. Switching to English was a natural thing for Peter to do, but I'm glad so many of you find it a good sign. Somehow, I don't think Patrick ever thought about having kids, and I'm not sure what he would do with a baby. But he immediately loved the concept of being a papa for Michael. There will be small snippets of them in many of the chapters.
  11. OMG thank you, Drew, for a fantastic and comprehensive review. I'm not sure I can reply to every part, but I'll try. I'm very happy you like the playful side of Peter. We haven't seen this so much before now, but in fact Patrick is not the only one to be freed from old hurts and restraints by love. Great job on pointing out the new improved Dane. Your thoughts on friends and family are very clever and that's all i'm gonna say fr now. Yay on loving the angel/imp team, they're such fun to write. I try not to let them take over, though, but they're quite noisy sidekicks.
  12. Thanks, buddy - on noticing the caretaker role woven into the story. I'm glad the romance still works for you. You're spot on about both of them instinctively knowing what the other man needs, whether it's calming fears or being a safety net allowing them to dare more. I promise no pomp or circumstance will keep them apart.
  13. Thanks, Reader, it's a great compliment when you can't wait to read more. I'm glad you like the imp and the angel, they sort of popped into the story (and my head) without me having a chance to refuse. In fact, they're even demanding their own story! I may have to write that once Patrick has managed to kick them out of his head. Yes, the family aspect is definitely going to be an important part of the story. I think your feelings are pretty accurate, but I don't know yet.
  14. I love hearing the dragonviews. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me (us) - and they're good ones too. Indeed, the influence of Peter's love is not only romantic and but in several other aspects of Patrick's life, as will be shown in coming chapters. I didn't describe it in detail, but the part where Peter poured out all his worries for Michael, was important for both of them and the balance in their relationship. They both feel the other man contributes the most, but soon they'll know it's all a matter of give and take in equal measure.
  15. Thank you, Def, I'm glad you liked the chapter. Considerate and respectful are good words to describe Peter, he will do his best to never hurt his best friend and lover. I think they are also enjoying getting to know each other. Indeed, Patrick will slowly better at handling the small devil in his mind. And while he may feel uncomfortable, he will face up to all the challenges of this relationship, because he knows it's worth it. Good point on Peter inspiring Patrick to think about his own family. More on that later.
  16. Thank you for reading and reviewing, I love hearing from my readers - and I'm delighted you like the story. I'll do my best to provide happiness for Patrick and Peter while keeping the story believable.
  17. Thanks, dugh, I'm to know you're able to find time to read. LOL, I keep forgetting the short time too, so I have to keep a list of the days and which chapters take place when. Love the plant analogy.
  18. Yeah, they're on a dream boat heading down the river towards paradise. But there's still a snake... I loved how every time Craig started to tread water or even back-pedal, Jared dragged him straight back into the current of commitment and love. No more going against the current - and the undertow (or undertoad as Garp would say) called Carly will not be able to stop these two men from building a future together, including a fantastic house. Great job on this chapter, even with the small scary cliffie.
  19. I'm glad you liked the chapter, Parker. So far, all is falling into place for them, and they certainly deserve it. There will be future challenges, of course, but I have faith they can overcome them together.
  20. Yay, Caz, I'm delighted you like the angel / imp pair. We haven't seen the last of them. I had fun doing the sister conversation. and we haven't seen the last of her either. You only have to wait a week for more. Better than my other stories, eh?
  21. You know, I have the feeling you're right. Patrick and Peter will attract other good people like nectar does bees. I'm glad you approve of Peter's caution, I wanted to hit the right balance between being sensible and overcautious. I'm not sure they can wait all the way to the wedding, though.
  22. Awww, Mike, that's wonderful to hear. I hope I can keep your Sunday mornings happy for quite some time. For once there is an advantage of me being six hours ahead of most GA readers. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter too.
  23. LOL, yeah, seen through Patrick's eyes Peter is pretty perfect. As for speaking English all Danes do (after learning in school), but Peter is probaby better than average. I'm glad you liked Patrick thinking about his relatives. I worried it might be borin, but it is important, including the fact he is able to contemplate getting in touch with one of them. It's so sweet how you miss Michael - he'll be asleep for most of the next chapter too.
  24. You don't like men with hairy legs? or you DO like men with hairy legs ?

    Chapter 14

Ahh, I'm somehow not surprised Joel's mum was on to him and the significance of Peter. I wonder whether Joel had already given the game away when talking to her on the phone during the semester, or she realized when she saw them together. Such a great ending to a wonderful story, I'll have to google yabby
