Prompt 472 When did you expect me to get that done?

Thanks Drew. I'm glad you liked the idea of using an established straight couple to work out the PDA limits. -
Prompt 472 When did you expect me to get that done?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 472 When did you expect me to get that done?
It wasn't on purpose, and I've already written the next chapter to make up for it. Yeah, I felt it would be nice for the boys to have at least one drama free place to be themselves. well perhaps not drama free oh you know what I mean. -
One of the things I like about GA is Reply to Reviews and the PM system. It means you can react to reviews directly and also interact with personal messages without using emails directly. In one of the other two places I have posted my stories, they also have a Send a feedback system, but you cannot see who sent the message unless they write their user name. There is an option to leave an email address, but I don't want to reply by email, since I'm careful about who I share it with. Partly after a not-so-nice incident. I want to reply to every message I get, particularly since they are few and far between, so it really annoys me when I cannot do so without compromising my need for privacy. As a reader I also enjoy getting a reply back.

Prompt 472 When did you expect me to get that done?
Timothy M. posted new chapter in Timothy’s Terrible Prompt Stories
“When did you expect me to get that done?” “I didn’t, that’s why I have the lists here, ready for distribution. But I need the props and costumes sorted by next Wednesday, please.” “I’ll help you, Nelson.” Eric slid his arm around my shoulders. Ms. Neall beamed at us and hustled off to grab another early-arriving member of the drama club to rope her into some urgent task. “I didn’t even get to tell her about us.” Eric and I had tried to get to the drama club meeting early, in order to have a- 13 comments

Confidential Conversations I
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Confidential Conversations I
Very true. They are not done with Daddy Dearest yet. But this chapter was meant to show the twins reconnecting and also both couples spending time together. Glad you liked it. -
Planned and unplanned meetings
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Planned and unplanned meetings
Tim, my friend, no fiction can come close to your experience, but I'm relieved you felt the twins' father was believably bad. And you're right to focus on the new-found strength and allies of Russ as the important thing. Yup, Chris and Jacob will have their hands full. As you shall shortly see. Thanks for reading and reviewing. -
Thahks, tim. You bring your own unique experience and viewpoint to this story and it makes me proud and a little tearful too. Only someone else who has experienced it can understand what it means to have the parents/family of your partner welcome you happily and unconditionally. Russ is released from worry by the love and acceptance of Jacob's parents, and maybe that helped him gain confidence in their relationship. Feeling secure is indeed great.

Wade and Peter are so good for each other. I can't wait to read more.

Deadline for the Valentine Contest is 2:00 PM EST - February 4th, 2016 for those of you who - like me - had forgotten. Renee, maybe you could add the link to the Secret Admirer page to your Summary?

Oh Toph, are you on your way to breaking another poor boy's heart? The unfinished business with Austin is that Toph never acknowlegded Austin's feelings. He does not have to go back or even contact Austin (though he might send him a letter), but unless he realizes about hurting Austin, he won't be able to finish the painting. And he may end up hurting Steve too, in just the same way. Toph sets out with the statement none of them are looking for something permanent, and then blithely tells of growing fondness and Steve being happy he stayed the night. Sigh, I fear it may not end well. I have a theory about Toph's nightmares, it's probably wrong, but here goes: Toph is slowly building a new family: Naomi as Mom, Luke as Dad, and Anders and Joanna as brother and sister(-in-law). This reminds him of his own family and the pain of having never felt loved or accepted (apart from Charles), and he dreams of them but acting as his new family. I hope it's his way of dealing with those issues.

For fanden da osse why did he have to die? I just saw Love Actually the other day, he was brilliant in his understated reactions to his slutty secretary.

Signature Excerpt January Signature Excerpt: Beloved By Don H
Timothy M. commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
One of my favorite aspects of this story are the sensible, loving and helpful adults / parents. Oh, there are some bad ones too, but the important ones are good. So when bad stuff happens, not only do Cam and Kevin have each other, but they also have the support of at least some adults in their life.- 1 comment

Prompt 360 Why do I even bother? (III)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 360 Why do I even bother? (III)
Thanks Gary, I'm glad you approve. As to what Rob has planned, well I'm waiting for him to tell me himself, You now how it is with characters talking in your head, lol. I think your take on his motivation is perfectly credible. And Jazz may remind the baseball team if they forget. Hopefully, by the time he and Nelson leaves for college, Eric will have lots of friends to look out for him, and most of the bigotry wil be weeded out. -
The river, waterfall and beach scenes reminded me of some of my favorite parts in 2xTrouble. I think Peter is falling hard, and I hope he won't be disappointed. There are some positive hints.

Wow, thaks Def. How awesome to get a whole list of things you like in this chapter. And you managed to hit all my favorite spots too. and you got the Mer, mer right. I'll do my best. I hope you managed to see some of the pictures in the story forum. Maybe I should make a CC tour guide of Denmark, lol. Someone asked if they would visit Legoland.

LOL, Lit, Im glad you could appreciate this in private. And you're also right about the chapter being full of love. As I began writing this chapter I worried about it being too soon, but both Russ and Jacob insisted. I'm glad amost of my readers seem to agree (I lost a few followers, not sure why ) Jacob's vulnerability is something I've had in my story notes since the very beginning, and I have to admit I find a lot of satisfaction in revealing this little by little. Oh he's still the strong alpha male as tim has pointed out, but that's because Russ needs him to be, and Jacob thrives on that, even if he know it should not be unbalanced. And it isn't, because Jacob has his own issues which Russ is the perfect answer for.

You're welcome, it's one of the pleasures of the topic you set up for me. Plus then I don't have to spend time describing those places. I was hoping my readers would enjoy the proposal and the sex, but it's an unexpected bonus to get praise for the post lovemaking scene. I'm particularly thrilled you found it both believable and special, because I wantd the intimate and caring feeling to carry on from their intense physical 'bonding' and your comments tell me I succeded.

I'm not keen to discuss immigrants either, since it's a hotly contested matter in Denmark right now. Well, also in other parts of Europe after the events of New Year Eve 2015. Even if they had decided on the rings, they would have leftthem behind in order to get their names inscribed. I'm glad you're still enjoying the story and thank you for faithfully reviewing every chapter.

OOhhhh tim, I loved your personal comments on Russell's small breakdowns (but of course I'm sorry you suffer them) and the way to handle them. I feel so vindicated in the way Jacob reacts by holding Russ, keeping him close and safe and cared for. Russ is not only facing difficult stuff but he's also starving from affection, since Evan used to do most of the hugging in the family, but they've mostly been apart for the last year. But in fact they both need the closeness - more on this later.
-
I'm glad to have another reader who doesn't run away screaming at a bit of dom/sub talk and play. To me there is so much more than the physical pain and humuliation a lot of people associate with the theme (maybe more so after Fifty Shades? although I haven't read it). Anyway, it's only a small part of their relationship and not even I know how it will eventually play out. I loved you calling Jacob a protective Alpha, he is - and it's just what Russ needs and enjoys.

Prompt 360 Why do I even bother? (III)
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 360 Why do I even bother? (III)
Thanks Lit, you have good instincts regarding Rob and his MO. And of course in this case he gets to do both. Same for your idea about Trevor, although remember Nelson and Jasper are juniors, so they won't go to the Senior prom. But I'm sure Rob could find a few other single friends, and perhaps Trevor could too. Wagging tongues, oh yeah, Rob wouldn't mind at all. as I said he likes the attention. -
Thank you, buddy. Now I know how Gary feels when people start reviewing older COTT chapters I'm not surprised you can relate to the warm, safe, caring feeling of having someone claim you like that, but I'm proud my story made you think of this. The reconnecting of the twins will be an ongoing theme, but this first contact was something I looked forward to writing. Glad you enjoyed it.

Questions and Distractions
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Questions and Distractions
Hi tim, better late than never, and I know you have plenty of other reading and writing to do. I'm glad you like my boys, I'm rather fond of them myself. Yes, Jacob is everything you said, and Russ finally has some luck and love in his life.
