I agree with Shane, Paddy is a cunning old bugger. But he may come to regret this ploy, if he doesn't cotton on to how much Jim means to Ty. If Ty finds out the Blues were never really interested in Jim and only used him to get to the brat, he'll be furious. Mostly if Jim is hurt by this - but on the other hand him getting to train with the Blues may garner a lot more attention (clever Paul to mention it on the radio), and one of the AFL Clubs may want him. Same goes for the other offer - any attention will be good for Jim's career since if people are watching him they'l see his skills too. Oh I bet they chose that particular player to show Jim round because he also had a run-in with TY. They want to get his opinion about the current version, and I think he realized too, hence the frown at one point. So much happening in this chapter, I had to read it twice. The studying of Liam and Neil made me chuckle, but it's good to see Liam's mum giving them a chance to spend a day together. I bet it's also because they want to get to know the guy their son is ready to leave home for. And since Bruce is going wth Neil and Liam to meet the Rosewoods, getting to know Neil is even more important. The movie date was another good part, it seems Jarrod and Mary are a good match, even if it never progresses further than dating, and Deon and Clarissa are certainly getting along well. Poor Evelyn, she ended up with the two men who're already taken, but on the other hand she's not a girl to let that get her down for long. Liam will be so envious when he hears about Neil going out without him, I hope his parents relent when they see Liam's sad face as Neil tells them, and maybe lets something slip about not having a date for the movies.

Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
Well considering all the heartache your put me through in Meta, I'm getting a satisfaction out of dangling these desirable straight men in front of you. Revenge !And with all the silly teens we encounter in stories on GA, I think my sensible ones barely make up for it. But I admit having four of them in one story may be stretching the credibility too far. Team Ginger Rules -
Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
LOL, I can see you wrote your own review for ch 27, before reading the other comments, but I'm glad you found my message for you about expecting ranting. Your reply here had me too. There is only 20 more chapters to go before we get to ch 50, and I'm sure the parents won't accept a sleep-over on a school night - if at all But maybe Eric and Nelson can sneak away for a bit of private time when they get back from the mall. I think I can manage 'a tad bit bicurious' - will that do? But mostly I'm happy this chapter put you firmly on Team Rob - or at least made you appreciate him as more than just the fun Sidekick. Rob has a lot going for him, even if he is straight when it comes to romance. I'm thrilled my readers loved this chapter including the puppy story, it tells me I conveyed the sentiments I wanted, but stayed away from sentimental. -
Thank you for a profound review in return. It's not that I planned to have more serious chapters to off-set the fun. This one sort of felt right at the time, but afterwards I realize the benefits as you point out. Including having Rob's antics stand out even more But the main thing here was to show how good Nelson and Eric are for each other and that in spite of seeming to run headlong into a serious relationship very fast, they are still inching gradually into intimacy, mentally and physically.

Yeah, me too LL, brainy guys in a nice package is the best. And while I'm not averse to a well-deserved punch, I think the mental or spiritual slap has a longer lasting effect. Glad you agree.Team Jas is getting as many members as Team Rob; please procced to the forum for your T-shirt (I hope ), when Adi has caught up. -

Wow, I think that's the most lols I've had in a review. And yes, you telling me NOT to be in a hurry to go anywhere, had me I shall dig up as many squiggly things as I possibly can, and please do tell me your suggestions. PM me or use the forum, I love getting ideas from my readers. I'm delighted you liked this chapter - and now you're all caught up - and with great reviews too. Impressive and wonderful to come home to after a long day at work. -

LOL, maybe Jasper should write a booklet with that title. He's stood up for Nelson a few times over the years and had a lot of fun doing so. I spent a lot of time and effort on this scene (as did my beta), and I'm so pleased you liked the result. -
Prompt 380 Sure, now you want me to make the decisions.
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 380 Sure, now you want me to make the decisions.
Welcome back Jaro. Your much-ado-about-nothing comments always make me smile, I love them and you're quite right.Including the part about Rob's protective instincts, nobody is going to interfere in Eric's happiness if his Brother can prevent it ! You'll have to read on to see how it goes, I've just posted the final Mall scene (chapter 29). Which means it's time to find out what Eric bought. -
I agree, knowing it's coming didn't help. I still cried the third time I read the last line (two edits and here). My only consolation is the vision Em had earlier of them being together and happy. And I'm very grateful we didn't get to spend time in Junyad's head, having to see Ahmed being beheaded in front of him and then awaiting his own execution. And we all hate Lady G even more now.

Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
It was fun to write too - and a draft of this scene has been sitting in my story notes for a while, waiting for an opportunity to use it.I agree Jasper needed some time in the limelight. He's beeen a great friend to Nelson for years, standing up for him whenver needed. But in this case I think he was also running interference for his new friend Rob. None of them or us wants Rob grounded again, right? Lots of Team Jas members -

Aawww Isaac, what a wonderful compliment, please hug your son for me, and thanks for finding the chapter good enough to read to him. Yes, Jasper's punchline is my favorite too. I'm a great believer in science and education, and it saddens me every time I come across deniers of facts and Scientific evidence. The most recent one in DK is another round of anti-vaccine idiocy. Team Jasper YAY ! -

Thanks CG, I'm delighted you approve, and I wholeheartedly concur in your evaluation of the zealot idiocy. It's not as if we need more humans on earth today. We did have a proposal for a Team Jasper earlier on, so maybe it's time for Adi to make new T-shirts. I generally prefer blonds, but freckles are cute, and I'm partial to ginger men with green eyes. Shame this one is straight, eh? -

Yes, at this rate we'll never get to see Nelson exercise his skills to protect Eric, lol. But I think Jasper was also doing Rob a favor, verbal punching can be as good as physical.Jasper is indeed clever, and also fairly popular with his teammates, who appreciate his humor and tolerate the morning grumpiness. -
Prompt 412 What time are we supposed to be there?
Timothy M. posted new chapter in Timothy’s Terrible Prompt Stories
“What time are we supposed to be there? At the car, I mean.” Nelson looked up from the book he was reading. “I’m no sure. I forgot to look at the time when we split up.” “Yeah, me too,” Eric said, feeling somewhat abashed. They had been in such a hurry to get away, and once they got into the bookstore, time flew as they browsed and discussed favorite books and what to buy. “Maybe we should pay for our books, so we’re ready to go. Why don’t you send Rob a text and ask if they’re do- 32 comments

Did Daniel save the number with Sean's name since his name suddenly appeared on the screen the second time he called? I'm not keen on Robbie, he does not seem like a considerate friend. I've started a list of dumb things he's done so far: Calls Daniel Danny Boy even though he hates it, turns the date into something sordid by focusing on sex, brings up Trevor which is obviously a sore subject with bad memories, casts doubts on Sean's personality when he hasn't even met him - thus saying Daniel is either stupid, has bad instincts about men, is unlikely to meet someone nice, or all three at the same time.

I remember reading this before and shaking my head over Daniel the scatterbrain, lol. But at least he finally came up with a good way to make amends.

Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 239 Just give me a minute, please.
I'm so relieved everyone was happy with the trip into Rob's head. I think he has a lot of empathy and well-developed social skills. Something which is not unusual for siblings of introverted kids, the extreme example being children with autism. Rob is basically a happy and confident guy and he wants Eric to be happy too. Eric might grumble and be annoyed about his teasing, brash older bro, but he would be devastated if he lost Rob's attention and protection. Nelson has the potential to take on some of that role, and Rob is pleased to share it and for Eric to love someone equally to him, but he'll always be there for his brother. -

Thanks AC, I got fascinated by the inside of Rob's head too as I wrote this chapter. I'm glad you felt it shed some light on the reasons for his previous actions. Rob is the older brother I've always wanted, and I can see from comments here and in the forum, that most of you agree, which makes me As to any future possibilites of Rob's sexual / romantic adventures I loved the idea of Rob seeing Nel as the gift to make Eric happy. -
So I guess now we know how Tony got to be in charge of the bar.

Thanks CG, I'm glad you felt a small glimmer of hope and I wouldn't rule out Rob having a go at the other side. But as I said to Gary it would most likely be sex and nothing more. Romantically, Rob is straight as an arrow - sorry to disappoint various Team Rob members, but at least he's a good brother as you say.
