Writing Tip: Story Cost.... More Or Less

*high fives for the lion-lady* Cheap words rock. Expensive ones are nice too. i like words which sound cool when you say them. I had a whole conversation today with a student about the way "Connecticut" sounds when you say it. -
I think that the idea that you need to have muscle tone to have tattoos is as discriminatory as the "oh you have to be a size 'whatever' to wear shorts", or skirts for women. Skinny kids with tattoos, curvy people with tattoos, chubby people with tattoos... it still comes down to the skill of the tattoo artist and the concept of the tattoo. I think your Ryan Scheckler looks just as good in both photos, though with tats he is certainly more badass. I am by no means skinny, neither do i have the sort of muscle tone that you clearly think people with tats should have, but i love my ink, and so does the man i married. Tattoos are an awesome form of self expression, you should not need to have some "perfect" body to put them on first.

secretly we are all little creatures of habit. i didn't miss my habits, because it turns out Thorn and i both appreciate sofa+laptop+TV show time. I did miss the places i would usually go. habit is a very strong thing.

As many of you know, i recently returned from a trip to stay with Thorn. it was awesome, everything he cooked or us was a-m-a-z-i-n-g and hubby and I had a great time. However, everyone misses things when they go on holiday, and no matter how much you enjoyed yourself when you were away, what do you find that you love when you get home again? Me, I missed my dressing gown (it is enormous, purple and fluffy) and my ridiculously comfy pillow. Hubby said he missed the rifle, which is handy, because we got new toys for the .177

i never put eggs in the fridge because the shells are porous and absorb odours. which is fine, if everything in your fridge is hermetically sealed... my fridge, not so much...

good writing generally speaks for itself. i basically never did any self promotion until very recently. be about on the site, join in on forum discussions and weight in one any topic that interests you. make friends - they tend to read the stuff you write AND tell other people to read it too. -
oh Addy, you're a dangerous wolf! Steven and i (tattooist) spent probably 4 hours designing my shoulder tattoo. we chatted, there was cider and a pub, lots of reference pictures and his huge artistic talents. i did know a guy once who had a tattoo on his thigh of his penis being severed.... anyone wanna read into that?
