thank you very much Cole. this "short story" seems to have taken on rather a life of it's own. i blame my horse, he keeps giving me ideas.

  9. as requested - What To Do With The Bunny Your Husband Shot Through The Head one large bunny - skinned, gutted, and we jointed it into six three extra big carrots (we cut ours into irregular chunks) 1 white onion most of a 600ml bottle of cider salt, pepper, thyme and flour put the flour and seasoning with the thyme is a zip lock bag and drop the rabbit pieces in three at a time and toss to coat. fry in a decent frying pan with olive il and a tbsp of butter until browned. put the leg pieces of the rabbit in a casserole dish fry the onion, add more butter if needed. when soft place the onions in the casserole dish toss the carrots in the remaining flour and fry for a few mins (this helps them keep their shape) place in the casserole dish with any remaining flour. Deglaze the frying pan with some of the cider and then add cider (and mead) until the rabbit is just covered. bake in the oven for 45mins at about 160c. add the saddle pieces (these take much less time to cook) cook for between 1-2 hours depending on when dinner is served. you need the rabbit to be soft and falling off the bone. if you are smart as you are serving out you can remove most of the bones, watch out for the trick ribs and short bones from the shoulders. if enough people want it, next time we kill a bunny, i will do a photo play by play of how to gut and joint if someone *coughAJ cough* shows me how to do that spoiler thing for images so we don't scare the little ones.
  10. “We should do something tonight.” “Yeah?” Rhydian was driving back on the road again, which meant that he was keeping his eyes fixed out of the windshield and being careful. “Yeah,” Bryce’s hand on his knee was incredibly distracting, “I have a boyfriend now. We should go on a date.” “Haven’t we already been on a bunch of dates?” As soon as he said it, Rhydian was no longer sure that riding out to a lake or keeping Bryce company at the shop qualified as a date. Bryce squeezed his thigh gently

    Part Two

You're welcome Mister Wolf. glad you liked the boys and their slightly cute rollercoaster of a story.just you wait for winter!
  12. I thought this rocked. yes, generic enough to appeal to everyone, and it can be taken to mean so many different things. "Show me how big your brave is" i love that line. that song could uplift anyone to tell the truth about themselves; gay, straight, in love with your best friend, that you really want to be in a band and play music, that you want to quit sports and study to become an accountant. that you're a writer and you're proud of what you do... this is a damn good song. Also, i love that the lyric video is about a bunch of girls having a band at home and that one of them has braces.

    Part Two

*struggles to read the tiny font*thanks very much Percy. as i said to WL? i knew i couldn't explore all the issues in a short story, so i left the end quite open. i'm glad you liked the accent, not corny is just what i was going for. thanks for the lovely review, even if it is hard to read!!

    Part Two

firstly - please recommend me these movies.secondly - i write from more of an empathic sort of view, but i value your comments. i don't think it is possibly to actually deal with all of Bray and Rei's issues, especially given the 20,000 limit. i left their ending rather open, because now they can deal with these issues in the big city.
  17. Happy Birthday Foopy!

    I Am Fine

really nicely put together. i love the detail in the flashbacks, even though they are short. and i love the idea that being not fine can be better than being fine. a lovely piece of work. well done
  20. This what i thought too, it wasn't until i wrote something in this genre/taboo that i discovered how much of an issue it still is for some people. And that would be nice to see.
  21. you're very welcome.yes, this is the only current in progress story, and you get an update every monday and thursday. thank you for reading, reviewing, and all that good stuff.
  22. thanks Avid. they sound like a weird and cute sort of couple to me. who knows?
  23. ta. i had to find something
  24. So, i seem to have inadvertently discovered the last taboo on the internet. Incest. now don't y'all look at me like i swore, it's not a dirty word. Honestly, I don't get the big deal. Sex between any two consenting adults is all well and good. the only problem with incest in the issue of DNA, so if the two people involved cannot have kids (ie, they're both men), why do people still get all uncomfortable and fidgety? It's even one of the tags listed under "sex" here at GA, but according to several members i've spoken to, no one here will read incest stories. I spent my teenage years friends with a pair of twins who were monogamous and committed - too each other, and eventually their boyfriend with whom they had the most beautiful and successful polyamourous relationship i have ever known of. I don't think any of us ever batted an eyelid. So can someone explain to a poor wolf who has no clue... what's the big taboo around incest? Seems like we've normalised every other taboo (ref the "success" of 50 shades of grey). why is this still a button to press on people?
  25. “Sorry?” I stared at Gareth, “You want me to come a date with you and do… what?” I hadn’t been on a date in years, not since the six month wrecking ball that had been me and Jeremy, up and down the entire time until we were dizzy and depressed. Jeremy had ended up in rehab on suicide watch and I had ended up drinking my way through two bottles of whiskey and getting my stomach pumped. At least I hadn’t jumped off a bridge. Since then, work had consumed everything. I had always loved working at
