Fan fiction has a place, just not in my life. i once had a friend try and write fiction using some of my characters, and it nearly ended our friendship. i would hate it if i found fan-fic of my work. it would really disturb me.... not that i think i'll ever be that famous.

He fiddled with the radio for a while, found a stationing playing something he vaguely recognised from his sister’s preferred playlists, and then settled to picking bits of hay and chaff from his jeans and t-shirt. He fiddled with the brim of his new hat, and watched Jase drive.
