    Chapter 9

He does indeed need to pass his computer science course, though he ONLY needs to pass. Cheating is hard to prove unless you stole someone elses code. He'll be fine. Well, mostly fine, he and Hrishi have to actually do the work first...

Thanks Jeff. We aim to please!

    Chapter 9

The desire for broom closets/train carriages/other "confined" public spaces is not just limited to horny teenagers! I promise. We never got caught.... Marty isn't 'butch' especially. But he's a guy with very obvious straight friends, who has never given anyone reason to doubt him. Assumed straight until proved otherwise. I know a lot of sexually fluid people who's jobs/personality would give nothing to suggest that about them. And plenty of artists/writers/creatives who are straight and narrow as they come.
  4. ZOMG! Jared Leto...... *drools* I have loved him since the first time I saw Fight Club when I was fourteen. Can you maybe magic you over here for the Country 2 Country festival, or you can magic me over there for something fun!
  5. My first gig was awesome. For my 13th birthday my parents took me to see Lindisfarne (English folk-rock band who had their height of fame in the 70s). They were my favourite band as a kid, and I know all the words to all the songs. I was the youngest person at that gig by probably 30 years, maybe more. Haven't seen nearly as much live music as I'd like, and one day, I am going to find someone to see some country music with. Dammit.
  6. totally been on that exact website - and recently! Our characters are thinking in tandem it seems. Nice slow-burn build up, though personally I would have liked a touch more tension, and a good visual last few lines. I enjoy the trust and the love they so obviously have, even in that little space, so I’ve no doubt Daniel is going to make it a good first time for the both of them.

    Chapter 7

I love that me and the boys are keeping you so tense on the edge of your seat. Excellent! Yeah, turns out you can go a really long time having booty calls without any conversation going on. But they've moved on from there, Hrishi stuck up for himself and Marty stuck up for him too. Things are moving on nicely. "Nicely" might not be the best word thinking about it....

    Chapter 9

Hrishi and I sit facing each other, knee to knee, on the corner sofa eating làngos as we listen to indie rock. The playlist is heavy with newer Fall Out Boy tracks; some nu-metal, which would be terrible if not for the amazing guitar riffs; and a sprinkling of circa-two-thousand independent bands who all recorded like one or two good songs before vanishing into obscurity. Every time we touch, we leave greasy and delicious fingerprints on each other’s skin. “This is really good.” Somehow, Hrishi
  9. I don't think I've ever finished reading one of his books and felt... comfortable. I'm neither trans nor gender-nonconforming, and I found getting to know the character of Frank, and his father, and his brother, both generally upsetting and at times incredibly tough. It is a total surreal mind-fuck of a book (who said that originally?) but bearing that in mind, it is also an incredible piece of writing. And good enough that I've gone back to read it another twice. I also put that he does not, in any book I've read, deliver any endorsement of male chauvinism. In fact, if you get to the end of The Wasp Factory, I'd say it was entirely the opposite.

    558 - Eggs

Oh Jesse! This is not where you wanna jump right into the middle of hell. It starts to get really complicated about now. Glad you enjoyed it anyway, even though you had no idea what was going on. If you do go back and read the first few stories, please forgive the terrible writing and complete lack of editing. I was young and useless then, and I didn't have Ma to whip me into shape.

    558 - Eggs

"Squee" is just what I wanted to hear! Can you imagine how happy Nassau is going to be? Also, if there are puppies, then you will see Tobias dissolve into a puddle of goo faster than you can snap your fingers.

    558 - Eggs

not mpreg, never. That's why they're eggs. Vruu is not pregnant, Shindae just ain't that smart. As for the hatchlings, you'll just have to wait and see, like everyone else.

    Big Day Today

thank you Tim. The Z boys are such a good match, I agree. And I love your comment about Zupan's wardrobe. You can't change a man, but you can make adjustments!

    558 - Eggs

oh yes, Jahke is fully capable of enjoying himself with his friends in his own right these days. He's grown so much. Though of course, he loves playing with others for the delight of his mate. Exhibitionist little thing that he is. Yup, Vruu laid eggs. Isn't this going to be....interesting.

    558 - Eggs

Sorry ma.... *hangs head shamefully*. I had meant to run it all past you when we finished with IS, but then there was a prompt. I couldn't help myself.
  16. “What do you mean, you’re pregnant?” “Could you keep your fucking voice down Shindae?” Atoki snapped at the fire demon, anger flashing across his features. Behind him, his mate snarled low, curling up tighter in the big hearth which took up an entire wall of their bedroom. “Shit it!” “Guys, I’m seriously confused now. Help a guy out?” Shindae was usually a welcome guest in the room of the house’s only other fire demons, but when he attempted to take a seat on the hot stones of the hearth, Vru
  17. I'll use hahaha when i'm talking in my voice in the forums and such, but not as a writer. I never use LOL style abbreviations - they became a thing when I was teenager, and I can't help but associate them with the jerks at our school who would use them in actual conversation.
  18. Oh Comic! It's like you're looking inside my head! I wasn't going to share those secrets yet, but now I have no choice! Off I go to write! *skips away*
  19. Or what he ended up telling his boyfriend about it all....

    Chapter 18

Dusk and Shade have nothing to do with hell, and not all the people in that crowd were demons. They are supernaturals of the highest order. The heralds of the Gods. You may not need to start screaming - only one chapter to go after all.

    Chapter 18

Dusk and Shade are an important part of the larger universe. Hopefully you might see more of them in time. They are the heralds to the Gods. Thank you.
  22. I love Iain Banks, he is the most wonderful author. Or was. The Wasp Factory, whilst not Sci Fi, has some rather interesting gender fluid elements to it, though they may not be obvious at first. I never fancied reading his SF Iain M Banks stuff, until I read you describing it, and now I really really want to! Damn, where am I going to find a spare 200 hours for that?

    Chapter 18

Well, luckily for Kiorl, he knows people powerful enough to make those decision for him. Or at least, they can push him in the right direction.

Thank you Petey, I'm so glad you liked it and came on the journey with us all the way through.

IBEX! how could you?! hahahaha The boys will do what they will do, and that's that.
