  1. Hello there, inhabitants of the Sashaverse. I hope we are all keeping well, getting some sunlight and gazing adoringly at our loved ones (and loved animals) So I am working on Chapter 14 of Sanctuary, so I am ahead of you guys, but not by my usual comfortable margin. In between the many issues of moving (ARGH) and the long and arduous editing process of Cowboy Summer and the American Songbook Vol 1 (dear god thank you Kitt, Vin, Rustle, and Dugh), I am trying (and failing) to work on something for the upcoming anthology, and writing bits for a new story starring a boy and a leopard and a lot of awkwardness. Stay good kids. Please know I love you all. SDxxx
  2. thanks. I was very pleased with the flashbacks personally.Yup, buddy understands alright... more than you could ever know!

no one had ever accused me of that before! but it's a good gradual introduction for you. Yes, pretty much anything will happen - I promise you that.
  4. Well thank you very much! It is always lovely to hear your well considered thoughts.I agree that Oli's mother is some kind of Saint; is there a patron saint of canines? Maybe there should be! I'm very glad you liked it. Hug your pup for me, Oli, and Boris OK?
  5. Ishca has been a bit of a pet; it's good for him to branch out. He can't help but care about everyone, he's an empath! I think you've spent too long with my demons. Stop thinking like Kiorl!
  6. it's not a super organized sort of thing; there just aren't that many supernaturals out there, and the ones who need help are even less. And as much as Aki wishes there was a handbook for this, there isn't. and he's just gotta make it up as he goes.
  7. Ig really is his brother, but whether Ishca is solely imagining him there, or whether there is an element of astral projection along with that is still up for speculation. Thanks LitL, and i agree - he needs time and space that are his.
  8. best use of the word 'sanctimonious' in a review. well done sir!Ig is a good influence on his little brother, but then his life is less complicated, not being haptic as well as an empath. I reckon Ishca will slot well into a PR role, let's see how many things he can sell!
  9. "Sasha knows good sex, and isn't afraid to write about it" - if I ever get a poster on a city bus, eh?Oh Gary, you do say the nicest things. Ishca does need to become his own person, properly so. Ig is a good influence, but Ishca cares a lot more about Aki's opinion than he dare admit right now.
  10. thanks hun.what would you call PR then?
  11. I hope he agrees with you!
  12. “A job?” Ishca looked over at his bed mate with disapproval written all over his features. “Me? A job?” “Yeah,” Aki’s soft brow furrowed in the centre. Ishca thought the motion was adorable, and when he reached out to poke at the lines, he dove into a memory of Aki sitting at the wheel in some pottery studio, but not his own, turning a lump of clay into beauty with his hands. The empath could have happily gotten lost in the vision for hours, but Aki’s physical presence brought him swiftly back
  13. too cute!!! I want to come to your house for snuggles. none of these things are pets. wild animals are not, and should never be, considered as pets.
  14. they are all going to help him somehow, and he's going to help them too. No one is perfect in this great wide world.
  15. some time. These things happen when they happen.
  16. I'd say you were right with that first bit. There's no way Hel currently identifies as gay. Not a chance. James is... self centered and confident enough that Hel crushing on him wouldn't bother him, and in-love with Peter enough that he wouldn't notice. Peter on the other hand is not so self assured, and that would be awkward...
  17. I'm not sure "a thrill" is what Hel will be feeling in a few chapters time, but we can hope.Thank you sweetie. I'm so glad you liked it. I think it is one of my finer pieces of writing.
  18. I love James, but I wouldn't leave him in charge of a puppy for 12 hours unless I wanted it running mad all over the house. Giving Hel to him would be a very short term fix...Spirit animals are rare, very rare. I would think it very unlikely James, Peter or Aki would have ever met another one, let alone have one as a friendly contact. I agree he should explain a few more things to Hel, but all in good time.
  19. you're welcome! and oh does Hel have a crush... luckily he doesn't understand what it is yet.
