    I am the last one to start wearing winter coats and the first one to shed them again. As long as my toes are warm I am good to go.

    Cultural maybe, but aren't you and I of the same generation? ( I am eyeballing 60). I thought everyone who were teens in the late 60s to 70s knew Meatloaf. I spent many Friday nights at midnight showings of Rocky Horror Motion Picture Show.

    Tried that. Separates as thawing, then hubby pours off the first glass without shaking, getting most of the cream. He then complains the rest tastes like skimmed milk.

    Survived the grocery! Pleasantly surprised to see every checkout lane open, and an entire flock of uniformed Boy Scouts bagging! Got everything I will need ( with the exception of milk, we ALWAYS need milk) till after new years.

    I recommend lots of your favorite form of caffeine, good music on, and depending on when you get started maybe a bottle of Pinot?

    I SOOOOO wanted to have a Yule fire last night! Picked up the fire wood, cleaned the leaves out of the fire pit, got appropriate munchies, broke the lawn furniture out of winter storage. Then the rain started, the flood warnings were posted, and the peeps coming called and cancelled. Put the lawn furniture back under cover and went to bed early! On a good note, I slept through the night for the first time in weeks! Finished my christmas shopping yesterday, and am now getting ready for the worst part of the holiday season, the pre-guests grocery trip!

    Mike is right tim, peeps are going to be looking at the cookies you baked with love, not the package they are in! They would not care if they came in ziplock bags!

    Oh, and good morning everyone! Last day of work before the holiday.

    That's always fun! Did the little one get wrapped in tape? Took me hours to get the stuff out of Wings' hair! In case you dont know, Starry, winged Wolf is my adult daughter and also a member here, though she is an infrequent visiter. Sort of. All dark meat, a tad stronger than chicken, and all delicious! Small enough to roast one per guest, and assuming they were farm raised usually melt in your mouth tender. And I cannot picture Vegans hunting quail! Is a pretty big concession to serve meat of any kind for most vegans.

    I am happy you found what works for you both, and things are right in your world. I guess hubby and I must be doing something right as well, we celebrated our 36th this past October. Be happy together and I pray you make YOUR 36th!

    What they eat. The stuff used as bedding is straw, what is left after wheat is harvested, and that has no nutritional value for horses. Perhaps a bit of both?
