He is doing quite well. We saw a difference almost immediately on completion of the procedure. A Saturday @ home usually consisted of him taking several naps while I did chores etc. Yesterday we had planned a do nothing day to recover.(If I didn't plan on doing nothing, he would have been doing things he was told not to when I wan not looking.) Grumpy old goat wasn't grumpy at all and didn't take a single nap all day!

Between working horse shows most weekends, the horses not caring what day of the week it is, and having hubby home for dr appointments on random days, I NEVER know what day of the week it is any more!

Mixed feelings on the day. Hubby's cardiac catherization went great. We are in the post op holding pattern. Not so great is the "patient update app" never updated while I was waiting. Supposedly the indicators change color when he comes out of OR, again in recovery, a third time in stage 2 holding and a final change when they stamp for discharge. Told it was a 45 min to an hour procedure. At the 2 hr mark I started asking questions. Lady @ desk said she knows no more than I do. 2 hr 30 min mark the board still says in the OR, but a staff member comes out to collect me, saying "why didn't you come back to Stage 2 holding when it lit up? Ummm, because it says he is still in OR? And I quote "Oh Shit! I'm soooo sorry!" Yeah, he has the the issue. I get the spiking blood pressure!

Growing up every time I brought home a "nice Italian boy" he turned out to either be related or my gram, who was a L&D nurse and the only licenced midwife @ the local hospital, would say something like "I was with your mom when you were born". Guess the idea of Gram seeing him in his birthday suit is a turn off.

It's going to take at least 2 more chapters to brew, and coordinate Marie's share of the explosion. Remember, there are several Schulters going to be involved this trip. Obviously Will, Marie has grown close while being his beard, and then big brother Jake IS married to Brad... JP and Steff are going to have to work hard to calm the coming storm waters!

And the Shulter Shit Fit starts to brew. Don't forget, daddy may have been a Hobart, but Marie's mommy is a Shulter too!

I feel compelled to point out that a bank refusing to lend to papa Yoder would not stop the sale of Flemming. What it would do is either severely limit Yoder's ability or take him out of the equation altogether. The fact remains that Flemming has been foreclosed on, and is bound for sale at auction. The big question is who will eventually buy it, with what sort of backing, and who it will impact.

Some of the comments ... I'll break my silence to say those 2 bold print words you mentioned are a double edged sword. Edit to add: Thank you for the compliment! Should one of your characters ever need to dispose of a body call me. I got a whopper method, but since I never make it past one chapter when I write I doubt I will ever be able to use it.
