The way things are right now DMD is basically a death sentence. If this drug has shown no harmful side effects yet, the FDA may be needlessly delaying treatment that could make a huge difference. They tend to error to the side of caution because so many meds don't show their real dangers for years after approval. (The diet drug that caused heart damage years later comes to mind.) But if the children who suffer from DMD don't have the years for the additional trials, which may not show the ultimate dangers anyway, what is the point? Perhaps if the petition gets denied the parents can get the boy enrolled in one of the clinical trials?
Just a note to let you all know that Sasha is NOT abandoning his pups on the sled team. Sometimes a story just refuses to flow.
It's difficult to keep ones head on sled dog races as spring breaks out all around us. No snow to race on!
He will be working on some of the other open stories he has going. The Sabaakax clan will be back in the not too distant future.
The way I was taught to balance the egg is actually not dependent on the equinox letting them balance. The one showed me put down a little pile of salt - settled the egg into it till it stood, then used a soda straw to gently blow most of the salt away, leaving the little bit unseen keeping the egg upright.
Do you really want to read that laundry list DDK?
Nah - I am not ready to hug Matt yet but I do see him finally pulling his head out of his ass.
I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. If one is screwing around - you don't really have him/her - you are just one of his/her harem.
Is Matt starting to mature? I think so but time will tell. Would he be my first choice for a chaperon for the boys? NOPE NOPE NOPE.
I'm not sure I am seeing Matt making the huge improvements most of the others seem to see, but I do give him credit. It is nice to see him actually seeing what is happening rather than just believing everything will go back the way it was. He still has a lot of growing to do if he and Wade are to have any chance at a future after grad school, and I really do think time away from each other will help that.
Now - as for having him chaperon Will and Zack...does anyone else see this as a recipe for disaster?
I was thinking more on the lines of "We, like fine wines, improve with age." I've no idea who to credit that quote to but my elders used to use it all the time.
Don't take me so seriously Jeremy! I was speculating. Besides - no one says it has to work out - just get him close enough to the girl for fireworks to go off.
Rich is a relative term. I have no university degree, and I don't have a whopper income. Monetarily I am upper middle class. But I have family, a job I love, also run a small business in the same field, and my health back after a rough time of it. I also have a few fantastic friends that are there for me when I need support. I think I am pretty damn rich!
Seems all thinking with the head on your shoulders when it comes most college age men is reserved for their classes, and the rest is done with their dicks. There are a few who avoid that, but they seem to be the exception
Isn't JJ just about the age and skill levels where couples get paired up for the pairs and ice dancing competitions? I can so see him objecting to being pushed to "dance" with some hot gal, and that being when the "ah hah!" moment happens. JJ has come across as either bi or totally undecided as far as his sexuality is concerned, and I seem to remember him making a comment a while back that supports that.
