Good morning all. Just goofing off for a bit before I start the clean and move furniture to bring in the Christmas tree. Got everything staged, carpet cleaner ready, and now waiting on hubby to wake up as I can't move furniture alone any more. Getting old sucks!

Actually Reese is a rescue from a puppy mill in Tennessee. They got busted when flooding forced evacuations and the authorities saw the conditions. Pretty little lab pup, well behaved, and only took a couple days to housebreak. At least SOMETHING good came from that damned huge hurricane that flooded half the south east! Shut down a puppy mill and Wings got Reese!

LOL The last time my MIL went to Europe before she passed, she did not eat the roll they served with her meal. She wrapped it in a napkin and put it in her purse. Yep, Customs had an issue with that - accused her of "smuggling grain products"

Dogs, or any animal for that matter, are only as good as they are TAUGHT to be. Wings has an 8 month old lab mix, has had her for about a month, and Reese (the pup) already knows basic manors, and to stay on her pad when we are working with the horses.

Well carry them up first THEN assemble them silly. One shelf at a time if you have to!

Hey, not only do I read it, I have edited it, and even researched it when I found myself asking " can the human body actually DO that?" Even brought my daughter to GA.

I ask that every time someone I taught as an "Itty Bitty Riding Club" member ( our 4 to 6 yr olds) drives into the farm without parents.

If it is something new, then a taste will do. Guess that makes me the old lady of the bunch at 13. Or does it make me the baby sitter?

My daughter tried that once. She also had a bowl of cereal that she had to fix herself when she finally realized I would not make a run to McDonald's for her.

And that is just one of thousands of stories. That is what keeps me going back. Some of the " normal " people sure are not worth it!

It really is something to watch a client going from needing to be held upright in the saddle to in some cases riding independently. And the improvements carry into all parts of their lives. Just the improvement in confidence makes such a difference!

Good morning all. Alpaca home safe, didn't hit witch upside the head, chores done and ready to start my day off.
