I've seen a few. The babies were cute, momma not so much. The yearling trying to hide behind the mail box post at 1 am on our way back to the Vaca condo was a tad startling to wake up to.

Northern Cali it does most years. But sections that have not seen snow in decades are getting it measured in feet, nor inches.

We have a saying in the horse business. Poop happens, them you shovel it.

Ok, now that I have read comments... I see I am no the only one sensing an impending problem. Seems Pam may need to spend some (more) time with a professional to get past her daughters death. If she keeps projecting on Liebe sooner or later CJ is gonna lose patience, and we all know what happens when that occurs. CJ can do more damage from simple irritation than most do in towering rages.

It does get to be tiresome after shoveling enough of it. I feel for the peeps in California dealing with record amounts, some for the first time ever.

I smell a problem brewing. Pam is going to step in it eventually.

Hi Solus! Things are randomly crazy, business as usual. We are in our quiet phase right now but you know how things go, we can go for days with no posts at times then fill pages in one afternoon!

Spending a lot of time huddled under my favorite quilt. Our Temps keep swimging from 20's (below 0*C) to the 60's (high teens C) and my joints REALLY don't like that! Just pick a season and stay there for a while please!

Anything we can do?

He should be glad it wasn't my wedding he was ruining. Divorce court would be preferable to the morgue.

Is actually a pretty morning if you don't count the Temps, and let's not talk about the wind chill. Once you get to f$#%ing cold, numbers are irrelevant. On my way to check on the horse ( yes the barn would call if there were a problem, but he is a furry child) then grab a couple things forgotten when doing the grocery run last weekend and then I barricade myself in till Monday. The kids will be in for dinner, and back for breakfast tomorrow, I have a blanket by my recliner next to my tree, and a ceramic space heater with an electric "fire box". Probably will not use the space heat but the "fire" can expect long term use over the next 24 hrs or so. Hehe, I even have spare bulbs. They burned out around 10 pm Christmas eve one year when I had a house full of peeps. Sort of spoiled the mood a little.

Ok, this is just ridicurlous! 59*F when I left the house yesterday, 9* today. That is NOT a typo, it's a 50* drop in 24 hours! 🥶

Wouldn't you be with half your crown gone? Saw a second missing the other side but couldn't get o good shot of him.

Isn't it nice to have a bit of time off with no job commitments? My next scheduled move isn't till mid January. Barring emergency calls, I get time to decompress.
-
Thank you sir!

Me either. Last scheduled show of the year done and in the books. Two more barn hoppers and I can hibernate till the first indoor winter series show at the end of January.

She did warn us that Nicole might change the posting schedule. She said she still had editing to get done while battening down the hatches. Good for her this one was an east coaster, not a direct hit like Ian was.

Don't think I hadn't noticed. It's flattering.

Danger noodle? Is that anything like a nope rope?
