  1. Since we were talking about editing, I feel the need to plug the book I'm currently editing for Laura. It's really funny! Got chapter 2 and 3 in my inbox today and I'm dying! Girl writes excellent comedy.
  2. Many yummy foods! I made pasta with an improvised sauce made with bacon, cherry tomatoes, shallots, and cream. Turned out all right. Boyfriend liked it.
  3. Not bad. Spent most of today editing.
  4. Hah, I know that feeling, too. 😅 Well... Loki turned into a horse once. Jussayin'. Oh, yes. The bad ones are the ones that don't listen, so they don't learn. They make the same mistakes over and over, and it's just exhausting.
  5. Hi, Hunter. How are you today?
  6. Hi! *waves*
  7. Most of the writers on here I've edited for have already been pretty good. A couple, though... Yeah.
  8. They are among the smartest dogs in the world. I saw a thing once about a Border Collie who knew the names of over 300 items, and could recognise drawings of them and then fetch the correct one. Boyfriend and I are thinking that if we eventually get a dog we'll go for a Cardigan Corgi.
  9. I dunno, I could think of other parts of him that were bittersweet besides his kisses...
  10. I only use bittersweet to describe actual flavours.

One of the things I really like about this poem is that the syllable count varies from line to line. It makes the flow really interesting, and I think it matches the subject matter, somehow.
  12. Had an old family friend who had Border Collies his entire adult life. He was so good with them, he didn't even have to look at them to give them commands. He could just say something in a hushed tone and the dog would do what he wanted. When he passed away it was heartbreaking to see his last Border Collie sitting out there, next to the stables, waiting for him to come home. Such loyal dogs. EDIT: Realising now how much of a downer this post is. Sorry. 😅
  13. I appreciate that.
  14. Hi, Gary! They're my favourite dogs. Them and Corgis and Finnish Lapphund.
  15. They look very useful. I bought some spike thingies for my boots last year, but now I can't find them... They'd really come in handy. I'm a total wuss when it comes to slippery conditions, it takes me ages to get anywhere cause I'm so afraid I'll fall, lol!
  16. Only game I've played that's prettier than Skyrim is Witcher 3. It's also open world (just a few separate exteriors, I believe, but they're all massive) and it's bigger than Skyrim. Unfortunately, it has a disappointing lack of gay... You get to see Geralt naked, though. (I have written Witcher fanfic... to make it gay.)
  17. That's one hell of a boat. You should give Witcher 2 a go. Not as impressive graphics-wise (Witcher 3 is just so effing pretty, I can't even), but the story is great, and it's less than 50 hours of gameplay or thereabouts so it's easy to get through. It has my favourite character from the games in it, an elf called Iorveth. He's so awesome. And yummy, imo. Also, I've played like 3k hours of Skyrim and Skyrim SE combined. Such a great game. Thank you, Kitt! I like it here.
  18. Well, if you ever get the time you should play them. So good. I've never been much of an FPS fan in the first place, if I'm honest, but Wolfenstein was really intuitive, I thought. I'm a PC gamer too! *high five* Never had a console as a kid, so the controllers confuse me, lol! Keyboard and mouse ftw. I do mostly RPGs. Skyrim, Fallout, anything BioWare (because GAY!!!)... Recently got into The Witcher. Oh, and The Sims. First non-educational games I ever got into. Have played since the very first game. Love you!
  19. Morning, molly! You as well.
  20. Snowing again today. Hoping it'll settle and cover the ice well enough so it won't be so slippy out there.
  21. Not too bad today. Taking a chill day. Doing some editing for Laura and may try to write later. Yourself? God, I hope not. I can't afford to take up a mortgage right now... Or ever.
  22. I think in this version I'm more Finland than Norway... Norway looks so gruff, and that just ain't me, lol! Well, not most of the time, anyway.
  23. I'm sorry to hear that, but glad they've improved. I've had the occasional migraine in the past, though nothing chronic. Sounds awful to have them so often.
  24. Hope your head's better today! Headaches suck.
