I wouldn't say I grow orchids... I'm an orchid serial killer. lol But that's awesome. Orchids are beautiful, which is why I keep trying to have them, even though they invariably die.
See, unlike cats, plants don't tell you when they're hungry. Or, you know, thirsty.
So, news on the flatmate front. Not sure if I mentioned, but a friend of hers is moving to town, and they decided to find a place together. Now they have, and she's moving out in 2 weeks. Which is really short notice, lol! Part of me is gonna miss her, and money's gonna be tight for a while until boyfriend gets his work permit and a job, but so much will be so much easier now. Most importantly, I won't have to be her emotional support human anymore, which has not been good for me.
Hope you're all having a good evening!
I'm the kind of gardener who forgets to water his orchids and ends up with a jungle of dead plants... I think your kind of gardener is better than mine, lol
do i just go on the same?
knowing that i may have fucked it up
all of it
had a good thing
ruined it like
i always do
what do i do with this
sick
ugly
feeling
where do i put it
hide it
i, the fuck-up
was waiting for the other shoe
i think it dropped
but nobody will tell me
do i just go on the same as always
or do i leave?
I haven't actually read that much of it myself, only a few books. (I mean, there are so many of them!) But it's a cool universe he made, and I love absurd humour like that.
Yis.
Well, tbf, not entirely sure there's any such thing, lol!
Nah, just pasta. It was fairly rich on its own. Some of the brownies I baked yesterday for dessert, though.
Hi, Drew! *waves*
Well, he moved here from England to be with me, so... Yeah, I'd say he is.
Interestingly, Tom Holland's Spider-Man wasn't around yet when I began writing this story in September 2015. I'm glad you liked that scene. I'm quite fond of it myself.
OMG, thank you so much for this comment! It really warms the heart, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! My Spider-Man is kind of a mish-mash, I think. I never read all that much Spider-Man, so this one was based largely on how he appears in various Deadpool team-ups, of which I've read, well, all, lol! As such he's kind of current Peter Parker, only back in college. A bit of canon divergence. But then, what even is Marvel canon anymore anyway?
