Another work we did when I was in high school was Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. The whole thing is magnificent, IMO, but I'm especially fond of the last four movements, as they just weave into each other so beautifully. I knew all of the solos on this thing, but I didn't get to do any of them cause they didn't think a student would be ready to perform them. Did Dulcissime during rehearsal once, though. Nowhere near this well, I was like seventeen at the time.

Such a good book. And thank you. Finances are a concern as I am incapable of working and studying at once because of my bipolar disorder. I get by right now, though.

I'm struggling a lot cause of that now, too. Unfortunately, I don't have much choice; it's just how my school works. I'm seriously concerned I won't graduate.

Vitamin D supplements also helps, @Mikiesboy. We get vitamin D from sunlight, and without it we grow lethargic.

Cool, cloudy day here. I want snow, but the weather gods are conspicuously silent. If I'm up at 5:30 in the morning it's usually because I haven't gone to bed yet. Hope the coffee helps to cure the grumps! ❤️

As a performing artist, I kind of have no choice but to use Facebook. It’s really hard to gather an audience without it these days, especially when you’re not very big yet. Interacting directly with an audience is important when you work without record labels, management or booking agents. And the mainstream music industry is even more corrupt than Facebook, so...
