Whew-hoo Trevor found himself a Swedish hottie. Joel is just a little too pleased with himself though . I'm worried about Joel's pending departure, it's a big scary world out there. Thanks for another riveting chapter.

Bridget is a pretty masterful manipulator to bring up her dead daughter to distract Lisa from asking why she had an explanation and all that information about Trev's journey at the ready. I guess what bothers me is how quickly everyone turned on Dirk and just automatically assumed he's guilty. No one can even prove a crime was committed yet they sure are eager to believe the worst. If I were Dirk I start looking for crow recipes now. Awesome chapter, thanks.

JJ has so much to offer, so it's nice to have his POV when he a little less defensive and see the vulnerable filling underneath the bitchy coating. Zach and Will...not all that surprising because Will is pretty forgiving and seems like the type that is more concerned about his own thing (mainly his family) than holding grudges, that and he's a horn dog. I finally saw your last note about things slowing down, I can totally relate to non GA pursuits that demand their pound of flesh, so I'm extra double super grateful that you're fitting chapters in when you can.

I get why the boys would be wary, but Jim seems legit and I'm struggling with Trevor's belief that his dad is a homophobe given the Jim factor. Excellent chapter, thanks.

Not sure just how little excitement Jim's presence will inspire. This seems like an idea that was great before it was acted on, but then it wouldn't be as engrossing . Continued compliments to the author.

Intriguing to say the very least. Jim in Italy trying to track Trevor down, Bridget pulling strings coaching but not coaching Lisa and Trevor. Dirk is all of the sudden a suspect in multiple muster and is on the fly. Trevor and Joel enjoying the honeymoon period of this journey. The forward momentum of this story is impressive. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Jim is pretty bold and must care for Dirk a great deal to go through all this for him. Another compelling chapter, thanks for the good work.

Things are piling up against poor Dirk, who although is hot headed really doesn't seem like the killing type, nor does he seem nearly as homophobic as Trev thinks he is with his friend Jim and all. Good stuff, thank as always.

Trevor's such a sneaky little monkey. Joel and he are on an enviable adventure (minus the runaway, my dad mighty murdered my mom shenanigans). Bridget's kind of a bitch; I wish Lisa would stay away from her. Thanks again for the ride.

Dirk's actions aren't really that outrageous given the circumstances. His son has runaway and has the means to travel very far very fast. Although I think he's blown it with all the secrets, I understand his worry and desire to do anything to get his son back. Honestly both a Dirk and Trevor seem a little selfish although Trevor us easier to forgive given his age. Great tension and fabulous detail, thanks.

Lisa's pretty stubborn (seems to take after her father a bit). It seems odd that a woman like Bridget would involve herself in teen drama. Enjoying the hell out of the story, thanks. Canned hot dogs? Yikes!

Crossing the Atlantic will seem like cake once he gets further east and has to deal with the corruption outside the EU. Excited about Joel's visit. Trevor and he will make a great team.

The best harebrained ideas come from the simplest places, so I love how the idea came and just stuck despite the danger and general lack of Trevor's preparedness. Sometimes the biggest hurdle to a big adventure is just setting sail. Really good story, thanks. PS I was given a similar nautical gift from a sailor family member...I gotta admit Lisa was far more excited by her clock than I was with mine .

Jim has some good advice, too bad Dirk's temper prevented him from following it. Joel is an awesome friend and Trevor needs that right now considering the mess he's in. Bridget gives me the willies, and how does a dive bum like Julie really know her, because I don't buy the college story? The story is getting better with every chapter, thanks.

Both Trevor and Dirk have kinda hot heads. Irrational reactionary decisions are apparently genetic in the Carlson house. Trevor is clever and has an enviable penchants for problem solving. Great chapter, thanks.

Dirk has every right to be concerned but he shouldn't put Trevor off with a pending explanation. That more than anything can sour an already tenuous relationship. Nice job, thanks.

Joel is a great guy, Trevor and Lisa are lucky to have him. You've created a realistic world that is easy to get lost in, great job and thanks for sharing it with us.

Dirk's got a secret and despite the tension, Trevor is really thoughtful to have cleaned and inventoried the shop. One thing that strikes me as odd is if Dirk can't actually go on boats why a chandlery? Great detail, thanks.

Meeting Julie was quite a fortuitous event and sure put Dirk in a pickle. I'm surprised by Dirk's homophobia, but I also wonder if Trevor is reading it right because as bright as he is he's also seems a little clueless about some things. Thanks for your work.

Lisa is incorrigible and Trevor is a bit obsessed ("a bit" = A LOT) by his boat. Ben seems like a nice guy. I wonder how remorseless Lisa will be when they talk tonight. Fun chapter, thanks.
