    Chapter 12

Way to go JP breaking it down to Jim's staff and kudos to Stefan for reminding Jim that Stef's projects haven't been charity they've been money making investments. Eww, it's just so good, thanks .

    Chapter 11

Marc must be an AMAZING lay because he always struck me a kinda creepy and by kinda creepy I mean really fucking creepy. How fortuitous that Stefan would rescue another shunned member of Isidore's family, they sound like jerk offs, or the French equivalent. Happy for Stef that he found the resolution he was looking for. I adore this story, thank you.

    Chapter 10

I'm glad Peter realized what he lost, and that he and Stefan are in a good place. Roger's family seems like some real gems, I guess he's like Jeff in more ways than one. Jim is being unreasonable and unfair with his profit sharing plan...he'll lose good people and then be stuck with a bunch of highly paid dead weight that think they are entitled to the fruit of other people's labor. I'm completely wrapped up in all of this...thanks (I think ).

    Chapter 9

It's sad that fame has turned Peter into such a wuss, he was such a great character. Stef's inner bitch may seem cold, but it's not as malicious as he thinks it is, his bitch has always been about survival and now is no different, just different stakes. The work kicks ass, thanks.

    Chapter 8

I trust Stef; he's one of the smartest characters in CAP Land. His loyalty to JP and Brad are admirable. Looking forward to more Tonto and Sam finding his balls. Awesome work, thanks.

    Chapter 7

Dear Fate, please deal Stefan and JP a hand, P L E A S E! Sam just isn't the right fit and good for Stefan for laying into him. Roger has a lot to offer and is really blossoming under Stef's influence. Thank you for your addictive work.

    Chapter 6

Peter, whom I love, is turning out to be a bit of a prat, but I guess it is too much to expect him to stand up for Stefan when he can't even stand up for himself. Stefan deserves better, like JP deserves better than Sam who bails when he should be jumping in to preserve his relationship. Stef is there for JP though and JP couldn't ask for anyone better. Stefan is so much more than anyone gives him credit for. Nice chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 5

Roger was sure quick to change his tune, but Stef is irresistible . Really wonderful story, thanks.

    Chapter 4

JP's mild manor turns on a dime when his family is threatened, especially Stefan. Deke was toast the second he laid his hand on him. What amazes me is how completely connected JP is. Fabulous work, thanks.

    Chapter 3

Stefan isn't a slut, he's the angel of sexual bliss and his exploits are legend . Great chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 2

Stefan and Peter have great chemistry. That scene with the annoying fan girl is too funny. And shy little Brad...too sweet. Fun chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 1

Stef as the narrator is a GINORMOUS treat; he and JP are my very favorites. It's amazing how much more mature Stefan is at 27 than JP was and I think it's brilliant to have both their narratives around the same age. Surprised Stef hadn't met Peter but of course they are smokin' hot together. In honor of Stefan, Merci.

    Chapter 31

Justin finally seems to be grasping the lessons and coming to terms with his power. It was refreshing to see him pull back and remember what's important. Super work, thanks.

    1968

Of all the CAP books, this one is the one I wish had turned out differently. It is a well crafted heart breaking story that is pivotal history for CAP junkies, but for Jeff fans its a hard pill to swallow. Jeff, while a great character, wasn't my ideal pick for JP but I was sorry for his fate and its impact on JP, as this story impacts, in both good and bad ways, his interactions with future characters. I don't know if this is intentional but many of the themes JP & Jeff struggled with become recurring themes in the lives of other key characters in later stories; I would like to think that it is and therefore I will . I can't believe I'm thanking you Mark Arbour for breaking my heart, but it appears that I am because your quality work deserves my gratitude, thanks .

    Chapter 15

Although not a surprise in the least, I am disappointed that neither Sam or Jason thought to help Jeff in his hour of mortal despair. Plot wise it clears JP up to freely move on to his next romantic adventure, but death isn't the only device to break off inconvenient romantic entanglements. Jeff's fate made the happily ever after in this story bittersweet versus the inaugural book. However, it didn't diminish my partiality to the story and I look forward rereading the next book(s). Thanks.

    Chapter 14

The Democratic Party was especially disappointing, not that it's sister party was any better, but for the party to disregard its base so completely was shameful. This was a hard chapter, well crafted but sad. Thanks for your work.

    Chapter 13

Of all your many chapters this is the only one I truly dreaded reading again. For Jeff to fall so low was a kick in the chest and then...well then comes the second kick only this time to the chest. I don't know why it had to end like this, but I respect the choice even if I wish it were different. Well written chapter, thanks for sharing.

    Chapter 12

Meeting the parents...of course Stefan and Isidore would give Sam crap, just more of the little details that make the CAP crew so endearing. JP and Stefan are lucky to have such loving and supportive families. Thanks again.

    Chapter 11

Watching Jeff fall from grace made me want to roll up into a little ball and bawl. Nothing could have been more cruel, not even things to come. Good job, thanks.
  20. Miles Long

    Chapter 10

Jeff's letting the situation poison him and turning into a bitter young man. Very unfortunate for everyone especially Jeff. Compelling as always, thanks.
  21. Miles Long

    Chapter 9

One little "I love you more" and its over. In spite of what JP thinks it wasn't as simple as a switch, it was a million little things that finally added up to "I've had it!" Once that point is hit, it is more like a breaker but the end result is the same, the power goes off. Intellectually, JP and Sam are better suited to one another and Sam's a lot more stable and driven. It is heart breaking that Jeff is in this predicament and that Stefan is now on his tilt-a-world. Gracious platitudes of gratitude for the work.

    Chapter 8

How can one chapter have Peter Gordon's glorious return and end with a sadness double whammy? Oh how our little Brad is going to change...I forget how shy and fragile he was. Thanks as always for your mad story prowess.
  23. Miles Long

    Chapter 7

JP's generosity is legend, it's why it stings so bad when people push him away. I wish I could feel better about our heroes but I compare the intense connection JP and Jeff share to any other addiction. So sweet when things are high, so sour when they are low. The work continues to draw me in and hold me, thank you for creating the vehicle of my addiction.

    Chapter 49

Awesome sex gets exponentially less awesome when one's partner turns out to be a wishy washy douche bag. I read that in a back issue of the American Journal of Psychiatry, or maybe it was Bitch magazine, whatever. Of all the people Will could involve himself with, why Tony? With every chapter he gets less and less appealing/redeemable. Although I am glad Will stood up for himself and called Tony on his mother's crap. Still eager to meet the only slightly less mysterious half brother of Wade. I'm dreading yet curious by Robbie's memorial, dreading because I'm a softie and will no doubt get all weepy, curious to see the lengths Brad will go to honor Robbie. The work is captivating thanks for every word.

    Chapter 6

Stefan makes a great point that he and JP should have stayed together, but it would have been a far less interesting story if they hooked up with their HEA so young in life. I'm cautiously optimistic about Jeff, and worried about Stefan who despite his sexual prowess is as fragile as JP was at that age. Continued thanks.
