    Chapter 31

Given the man JP is on the verge of becoming this was a career risky and disappointing choice for him to make and it's impact on Jason, well it's a line that he crossed that effected the rest of his life. Regardless I still appreciate the work and creativity involved.

    Chapter 30

JP's insecurity is so surprising and oddly endearing, which is odd because I usually find it off putting. The if I can't be cool I can be quirky line was hilarious. I felt that first day excitement, but was a bit bummed about reverting back to the blackmail. I really see it as a catalyst that unleashes so icky stuff later. That written, it's a great story, my compliments to the author.

    Chapter 29

JP is getting from all sides and not in a good way . JP should be proud of himself for standing up and not taking on others people's crap. I was hoping that after the letter his father would at least try, but his comment to JP was low. The drama is just the living end ...thanks.

    Chapter 28

JP always takes the high road, and because of that people eventually see him for who he is and not his sexuality. The scenes between he and Vella were beautifully crafted with some of the strongest and most playful dialogue of the whole CAP shooting match and a drunken Jeff Santa has got to be the most erotically adorable thing ever. Pick your favorite word for awesome and insert it below: ( ) work, Mark Arbour, thank you.

    Chapter 27

"And I certainly couldn't fall in love again. Never would I risk that again. Never." What I miss about JP in the later stories where he is the stately family patriarch is the vulnerability and irrational conclusions he makes like the one above. Where by the end of the scene he has already had to make exceptions. That real picture into the psyche of JP as a young man trying to figure it all out and assert his own person. That includes not hiding who that person is out of fear. Truly an amazing tale, thanks.

    Chapter 26

Jeff is the perfect mix of naïveté and wisdom and is the perfect salve for JP's aching soul. I hate that Andre had to perish to resolve this conflict of heart, but can see how this horrible tragic action starts events and formalizes ties that last 13 books and hundreds of chapters. Thank you.

    Chapter 25

In spite of your awesome story telling prowess, I truly dreaded this chapter. Jason really was a good friend to JP and there for him through this bombshell. Despite my tears, thanks.

    Chapter 24

Jeff really is such a sweet soul and its unfortunate that he got caught in the middle of JP's love polygon. My heart goes out to both, because love is complicated. JP has a good heart (as shown by his generosity to Fritz) and is impossible not to love. Continued thanks for your work.

    Chapter 23

Excellent job weaving the Cuban Missile Crisis into the story reminding us of the very real paranoia people experienced. Heart wrenching situation between Andre and Jeff, although JP and Andre are a beautiful couple; it's especially crushing with Andre being sent into the disaster that was Saigon. I'm preemptively choking up in worry. Wonderful story, thanks.

    Chapter 12

Nice job King Cliffhanger . Great choice having CJ take the higher road, although I still think Dylan's parents may want to pursue the soon to be former staff of Channel 13 because disclosing information about minors is a big fat no no and they should never work in legitimate journalism again. Happily surprised by TJ's mom and worried sick about this latest psycho. Continued thanks for your work.

    Chapter 22

Of course Andre misses you just as much JP. How could he not when your the sort of person who will throw yourself into horrible odds just to save a friend or confront your bio dad to help another person out? Beautiful interchange between JP and Bill, really great work, thanks.

    Chapter 47

Thank you for another gripping chapter. JP's summary about accepting the whole relationship was advice that transcends just Brad's current struggles; it's advice everyone can use. It's ironic that Wade has had to become so cunning to protect his interests because his mother has made it clear she can't be trusted. She created her own biggest foe and it serves her right to be marginalized.

    Chapter 21

Ah Jason with your open mouthed kisses and family drama, just relax and enjoy the awesomeness that is an almost uncensored JP. It was refreshing to feel JP's liberation and pride in helping Peter out. Good chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 20

Me thinks Tonto may finally be savvy to her grandson's antics and irresistible charm, making JP seem like less of a threat. Great work, thanks. PS GO TONTO!

    Chapter 19

Such a fabulous chapter showing us two of the opposing sides of the man JP has now become. His compassion is unparalleled, but when he or his loved ones are threatened he is ruthless. Great work, thanks!

    Chapter 11

Way to go TJ's mom! As for TJ's dad, well he's beneath contempt. I'm very relieved that Spin's gonna be okay; recovery is going to be hard for such an active guy. When Spin remembers or finds out what happens things are going to rough on him; it's a good thing he has such a good support system with Mattie and the guys. Good chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 18

The first time I read this chapter the authoritarian aspect seemed like a foolish risk to take to punish a student, but reading the series, it seems so out of character for JP to be that extreme. Not to imply that JP won't sully his hands to fight the good fight (i.e. taking the offensive with Jensen) this seemed to be something that sounded better in theory than it played out in execution. I was disappointed in JP choice, but still fascinated by his dissociative internal dialogue,"Why was I torturing this guy?" Good question...why are you planning to do it again? Even when I don't like what's going down, it's still a great chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 17

JP isn't the sort if character that can have just one love of his life. He's too big (figuratively that is ), too complex for the boy meet boy then live happily ever after to ever work. That stated Andre complements JP so nicely; I'm routing for them despite knowing what their fates are. Really excellent chapter and added kudos for dropping obstreperous into the mix .

    Chapter 16

The scene between JP and Jeff is one of the most erotic scenes in the whole series; it has a simplicity to it that makes it seem more down to earth and real, if that makes any sense at all. I do wonder if JP is the first guy Jeff ever messed around with. His carefulness and other things that are spoilers lead me to think probably not, although I think his affection for JP is as true as it can be given the inherent capriciousness of his age. Super fantastico chapter Mark Arbour.

    Chapter 15

JP has got an ornery streak; it makes him a formidable man to contend with. I find it a bit ironic that Jeff and JP ended up in Chicago together because of Jeff's homophobic lashing out at Stefan, yet when JP kisses him he acts as if its no big deal. I get that back in Claremont he was being egged on by his drunken friends and it's easier to allow oneself freedom when one is free from one's oppressive environment. Ah yet another reason to love this tale...thank you!
  21. Miles Long

    Chapter 14

Tonto is a good person, her reaction was no doubt motivated by shock, which she will need to get used to having Stefan as a grandson . The interaction between JP and Jeff is so lovely it chokes me up a bit knowing the future. Love the work, thanks.
  22. Miles Long

    Chapter 46

I think if Cody wants he will make a really great father and it was a solid move to seek Will's input. Cody is family and knows that it is better to get the buy in/blessing of the more opinionated family members than to deal with the grief of family feuding. I don't fault Cody too much for not being that involved, a lot of men don't relate to babies; at least he's honest and I'm sure if Jeanine had asked he would have been more engaged. Sometimes men need to be invited (or nagged ) into participation. Sweet interchange between Will and Carullo, especially after the bullshit at the wake. It's times like this when Will reminds me most of Stefan, even though he has a little of Brad's explosive temperament. What a passionate combo; hopefully JP's influence will level him out. Why was I not surprised at some baseless, inane accusation coming from the Tony contingency? I lost a little respect for Tony's mom despite her "magnanimous" offer to not react like Joey's mom, because it seemed like she was spreading malicious gossip about Will when she wasn't even sure it was true. I could have that wrong but that's how I perceived the situation and there is that saying about perception. Thought provoking chapter; thank you. As always I'm left yearning for more .
  23. Miles Long

    Chapter 13

JP you tramp, don't you think you're judging Stefan a bit harshly? Sophisticated as he may be in all his français-ness, he is only 16 and he's new to the family and just as scared as you, but lacking your 10 years of life experience. I will give you a little credit for taking care of Jeff in his time of need....I've lost it, I'm talking to a character in a story that I've already read ...it's just that engaging, though.
  24. Miles Long

    Chapter 12

Relieved JP made it through, having Stefan visit him was sweet and a nice foreshadow into the dynamic of their future relationship. Jeff makes an awful first impression, which is ironic given ***SPOILER ALERT*** how easy going he turns out to be. Gratitude for the good work.
  25. Miles Long

    Chapter 11

20 Jun is a great day to be born, it's no wonder JP is so awesome . Silliness aside, excellent chapter. This revelation rocks his foundation but it also helps solidify the man he is starting to become, one that is fiercely loyal and protective of his family. The fact that you ended this chapter with a crash is only forgiven because the next chapter is readily available. Thanks as always.
