It doesn't feel right because there is a lot more (good and bad) to Dennis than Owen's friends want to accept, no matter how justified they may be. This story just keeps getting better. Thanks for all your effort and creativity.

Outstanding choice paralleling Owen's past with Dennis' current situation. Ben's unique, je ne sais quoi, perspective adds to both the charm and the degree of emotional severity captured in this chapter. "Top Gun" writing, thanks.

What a crappy way to end the day, I don't envy the disappointment Aiden must be feeling right now, he has some hard choices in front of him. On the up side he and Owen no longer have to hide their relationship. Great read, thanks, gotta go find out what happens next .

Karen gives mothers a bad name, it's something she shares in common with Owen's mom. I'm glad O&A are in a better place even though Owe needs to fess up to Aiden about Karen's shenanigans. I've written it before and I'll probably write it again, great story, thanks.

Owen has the best intentions but the worst instincts. His lack of direction really is a larger metaphor for other areas he can't seem to figure out either. I do think if I were in his place I'd have gone to dinner, but I also really love awkward situations . Excellent chapter, thanks.

Oh Owen you are so delightfully naive . One of the many things that make this story so kick ass is the poignant humanity of the core characters. Reilly's quirky awkwardness as he confesses his crush on Aiden and Dennis' abrupt and odd sense of loyalty as he tells Janie off are two shining examples in this chapter. Another highlight is Aiden calling Owen on his claim of other than saying he doesn't want to talk, what talking has he done. Just brilliant character/story development. Thank you.

It's poetic irony that it's Dennis' equally shitty father that forces Owen's precarious defenses to shatter. Intensely rich chapter, thanks as always for sharing your gift.

What is with Reilly Chesley? Poor guy, Aiden is a doll for looking out for him, Owen too in his reluctant way. O&A are just perfectly suited. I am really loving their dynamic. -
Aiden's predicament has been an effective catalyst in deepening the bond he has with Owen. It's lovely how protective Owen is of Aiden and it sucks to realize that sometimes we can't keep those we love safe from all the crap life throws at us. Just a great story, thanks.

Man, Will can't get a break today at all...and Stef, I thought he'd learned this lesson already. Bad Stef, bad bad Stef. Good for Robbie though trying to get Brad to see reason; unfortunate for everyone that Brad seems to be so committed to being unreasonable. I wish Stef and Brad would apply their (well Stef's) win-win business philosophy to their family. Things with Will might go a lot (or even a little) smoother versus Brad threatening Will with revoking his emancipation and risking damaging his relationship with Will so badly that Will hates him with a similar vehemence that Brad hated his own mother with. Thanks for another great chapter mired in delicious family drama.

Janie wasn't a surprise but Adam's reaction, while not exactly surprising, was really disappointing. Eager to get to the next chapter; it's such drama to get wrapped up in, thanks.

How you manage to pack so much into your chapters is awe inspiring. The relationship between our heroes is blossoming nicely with both finally sharing some of their baggage. Aiden really is so lucky to have found a support base with the Dovan's; parental alcoholism is raw deal for any child. Stellar work Mr. DomLuka, thank you.

It is easy to make things more complicated than they really are. It's too bad Janie is causing Aiden grief, I'm with Lacy on this she's a bi- not very nice person . Thanks for sharing.

Yay! Finally Aiden makes a move that not even, stuck in his shel,l Owen can mistake. I appreciated how you gave us some insight into how cool Lacy is especially compared to how incredible not cool Janie is turning out. But back to the date, seriously creative and too funny that Owen didn't know he was on one until the very end! As always thank you for your work.

Happy Birthday Dovan Twins! Another great chapter, Tony and Chris are just all around good guys stepping up and making Aiden know he has their support, Owen too in his unobtrusive way. How are they the product of such crappy parents? Rhetorical question, no need to answer . I'm looking forward to the shenanigans this dance will no doubt bring.

Dennis returns and surprise of all surprises he's still an asshole . Nice work on the almost fight, interesting to learn the backstory about Leo, Dennis and Ben. In hindsight it's not that surprising to learn of the past friendship, betrayal adds vitriol to animosity like nothing else can. Lots of drama all around, good job, thanks.

What a trip for Owen...his absolute cluelessness is pretty amusing. I'm glad he and Adam had a chance to clear the air in a way, but the real gold was in the developing relationship with Aiden. There's such a there there (yeah I just said that ) and once Owen figures it out things are gonna get a lot mor excited. Great work, thank you.

Things definitely got a lot hotter for Owen and Aiden (I couldn't resist ). Aiden's body heat ruse, and Owen's willingness to buy it, is such a great example of that young horned up rationale to get close to someone. I even think my husband tried that when we were first dating. Great stuff, thanks.
