    Damn Him

Yikes Quinn take some accountability for your feelings and stop insisting you aren't so much...don't you remember the lady that dothed? Jude doesn't seem like the shallow type, but he sure has his work cut out for him with Quinn, yikes again. Super work, thanks as alway.

    Out of My Hands

Jude's got moxie; I loved experiencing Quinn unravel in his presence. I wonder when Quinn will realize his own erratic behavior creates more notice than anything else . Great work, thanks for sharing.

    The Day After

Quinn is an emotional pinwheel; he seems like he is one incorrectly folded set of sheets away from losing it . He must be really attractive for Jude to be so patient...no, Jude is just a really great guy isn't he. Thank you for creating such a fun neurotic.
  4. Quinn's learned a lot tonight: he can't handle his liquor and he likes kissing boys. He also learned that unless he wants everyone to know that last part he shouldn't do it at a party full of people who don't like him. I'm not sure if I'm amused or annoyed at his dramatics, but it's cute how OCD he about cleanliness. Thanks for another good read.
  5. Quinn, Quinn, Quinn of course gay boys can have girl friends, they are especially useful when they're hiding in the closet telling themselves they're totally straight . Fun start, I love the character development especially the dynamic set up between Quinn and Bree, Brad and Marissa; it's just enough to get us interested, invested and wanting more. I look forward to losing myself again in the highs and lows of Quinn and Jude, thanks.
  6. I'm devastated. I don't know what else's to say. Thank you for the twin updates, as heart crushing as they are. Phenomenal work.

    Epilogue

Dancing around in glee now that all my guys have happy endings. This was a perfect way to wrap up an awesome story, playful and hopeful. Thank you for righting the universe and brining Aiden back to Owen. You rock DomLuka!
  8. The multiple perspectives continue to add to the intensity and to end the chapter with Senator Danfield in the Pentagon as it is hit is brilliant story telling. Robbie again stands out with his selflessness, once he was relatively sure that the kids were on the right path he took it upon himself to try and ensure Jeanine and Hank made it out as well, my fingers are crossed extra tight for him. I can't write enough accolades for how well you have handled this story. I will however make a plea for more more more soon soon soon! As always, thank you.

    Chapter 31

Fantastic resolution, and the John-Lyle-Travis interchange was brilliant. I would like to believe that John's easy dismissal of Dennis and Travis' relationship as being an issue has to do with John realizing his boorishness has driven his son away and subsequently destroyed his family (along with his wife's equal if not greater coarseness). I'm reminded of when Owen came out to Dennis; Dennis really didn't care. Although Dennis and his father are still estranged, I think John is reaching out to Dennis through Travis because he relates to Travis on a level that he can't with Dennis (maybe because of their mutual baggage). Not to imply that I think he's using Travis, although I think he would, but John's pretty transparent and Travis wouldn't stand for being used. He obviously cares about his son, but his pride, stubbornness and general A-holishness make it hard for him to express it so he does it in less direct ways. All that other stuff aside...favorite part was when Travis dropped the "L" bomb .

    Chapter 30

I can't imagine how hard it would have been to wait for the next chapter when this was originally posted. Good for Dennis for facing a big scary demon and coming out less burdened. An awesome chapter all around, thanks.

    Chapter 29

Swoon...Travis won't let him, swoon some more. This is one of my favorite Dennis/Travis moments. This whole chapter exemplifies and solidifies the deeper connection our heroes have created. It's so well executed and written, I can't help but be so thankful that I found this story, thank you DomLuka.

    Chapter 28

This is a good thing...Sara leaving, not Lyle going all super stalker. She is an albatross around Travis' neck and now that she's gone he has a chance to let all that crap go. Lyle being a drunk ass...well that's concerning on many levels since he's an A-Hole with no soul. Great work, thanks.

    Chapter 27

This chapter is just break my heart kind of good. There aren't two people who belong together more than O & A and it kills me that they are being so obtuse. Thank you for giving us the Aiden/Owen backstory.

    Chapter 26

Yay for Dennis for standing up for himself. More yay to both Dennis and Travis for finally committing to the unique form of an us that they finally admitted and accepted. Boo on Lyle who is a perfect waste of literary carbon that other literary characters could be using . This was such a juicy chapter, thanks.

    Chapter 25

Although I think Travis is crazy for wanting to go to this party, I am proud of Dennis for finally deciding to go with him. It shows in action what Dennis struggles with saying aloud. I also loved how things went down with Owen, it was an awesome interchange. Sending gratitude your way for more of this great story.
  16. Inspiration is a capricious brat . You're a good writer so however long it takes, I will wait. This break may give me some time to catch up on your other offerings I've seen lately. Nice update, glad Mark is okay. Thanks for posting.

    Chapter 36

My arms are covered in goosebumps over the events and perspectives you have excellently laid out in this chapter. I feel a similar queasiness and panic that I did that day as the concern for those in WTC towers, Pentagon and surrounding areas returns. It was a great example to show how Brad's rant, like so many other things, became immediately meaningless once the actuality of what's happening around him unfolds and getting him and Stef to safety becomes the only goal that matters. Robbie's brilliance really stood out as he took charge of the situation and became a driving force rallying around getting his family out of harms way. I found myself begging Jeanine too to leave with Will and really was saddened that she decided to stay, even though I understood why. JJ's perspective was also a treat because he, in his petulant way, illustrated that it really wasn't until later that people really understood the gravity of what happened to us as a nation. Flying planes into iconic and highly populated US buildings was a previously unthinkable event, ripping off any security we had to how horrible being subjected to terrorism is and no doubt people were trying to maintain some kind of sanity by holding on to things like the expectation that what happened would be quickly and efficiently resolved and life would be back to status quo chip chop chip. I could go on and on but I will end it with truly exceptional work, thank you.

    Chapter 24

Light finally shines on the Ben-Dennis mystery! What an F'upped family Dennis has; it such a good thing he finally had the strength to walk away and hopefully he can find a way to forgive himself and not let one fearfully shameful act haunt him forever. I have to write again how truly spectacular this story is and thank you once again for sharing.

    Chapter 35

Still dancing on eggshells (hopefully pic comes thru ). Warily happy about Will's reconciliation with Stef since I thought they had resolved their issues. Sweet interchange with JP at Columbia; he's the perfect combination of adorable and scholarly. Less than a literary day away, and they are all set up to be a part of the action. Thanks for another well thought out, compelling chapter.

    Chapter 23

Change is difficult especially when those surrounding won't allow or accept the change. Dennis is mired in this conundrum as Travis is slowly starting to realize. Adroit way of handling Owen and very solid that Owen took it with class despite the frenzied way Travis handled the situation. Travis really does thrive on awkwardness sometimes. Stellar work, thanks,

    Chapter 22

It begins and ends with kissing, what a great chapter . I love how Dennis finally admits that he and Travis have something and his loyalty/concern over Owen is also working to make him that much more endearing. Although I am sure he'd cringe over that reflection. Nice job, thanks.
  22. Miles Long

    Chapter 21

As messed up as Travis behaves sometimes he is equally if not more enlightened. Kyle's character seems to be a an odd combination of self righteously nosy and obtusely oblivious; he not a central figure so we're not given a lot but other than Travis' loyalty and whim it makes me wonder how their friendship is sustained. Aiden comes through (no surprise) and I think he finally realizes that there is more to Travis than his flirtatious devil may care persona. Travis says he doesn't believe in love but I think that fear and never finding the right person is driving that. Owen is wrong for him not just because he belongs with Aiden (HINT HINT) but Owen isn't the kind of challenge that Travis needs. Owen isn't the guy that is a casual friend with benefits so it seems that he's a fall in love kind of guy, when IMHO he just wants more out of his relationships. Travis and Dennis work because Dennis is challenging and in many ways in a similar situation as Travis in wanting to be more than the sum of their crappy upbringings. Truly another fine chapter in an engrossing story, thanks.

    Chapter 20

Oh, Owen. Oh, Travis. Oh, Dennis. Oh, Leo. What are we going to do with you? Seriously, good chapter eloquently capturing the awkwardness, tension and playfulness of all the things Valentine's Day with the Long Way crew. Thanks a bunch for sharing.
  24. Miles Long

    Chapter 19

Wow! I mean wow. Travis really is one surprise after another and they are all fascinating facets of a complex and compelling character. Amazing story, work, creativity, thanks.
  25. Miles Long

    Chapter 18

Exceptional portrayal of Travis' past. It's enough to break even the most reserved of hearts, which we feel in Dennis' reaction. Nice job, thank you for sharing.
