I love this sentence, it sums up everything that happened nicely. How you correlated the the preparation of meat, and the neurological reaction of anger to the anthology theme was really great and unusual. The little view into a better future for Marc was the icing on the cake. Irri is right, this is one of your best stories. Thanks Addy!!! I wanted to use that chemical reaction as a metaphor and with your help, it worked. Besides, it combined two of my great loves, cooking and writing!!! I appreciate the kind words.

Oh Val, you had me biting my nails and freaking out. You did an awesome job of it. I was ready to jump on Santa's sleigh and hunt you down! It was a beautiful scene of how relationships are hard. Heat is an tool for setting off chain reactions in chemistry. Given the right amount of radiation and other set parameters, it causes radical changes in the subject material. We also are affected by heat, though of a different type. Watch as Marc experiences the kinds of changes he needs to move on with his life.
