  1. Just started this story today and it's great. Very intriguing situation and you make it so convincing. So many writers don't get the kids stuff right and the age thing but you do it so well it is so easy to picture it. I love it. And the tenderness there is so touching too both between the kids and their dads and David's love for Christian. I am looking forward to a good read here.
  2. Maybe that's why I struggle with the shorter chapters. Too quickly over, just like all modern stuff. A quick dip, in/out and we're done. Hope the love story is not too much like that too! I find it unsatisfying and unfulfilling. This is just my personal choice, of course. Prefer to get my teeth into something and experience it heart and soul. But thanks for the explanation.
  3. I love your realism here and you convey it so very succinctly and amusingly. Keep it rolling. It is a good story, though the chapters are very short.
  4. Been away as my computer needed repair, so I did a quick catch up with the story. I am captivated and so enjoying it in all its aspects. Have not listened to the song, regret to say, as my computer is so slow with the video stuff and eats too much of my precious airtime too. The mix of Chinese culture, the reality of your experience (loved the comments about the noisy family on the bus!), the humor of your sitting side by side using your phones to communicate. It's all very entertaining, plus, of course, there's the drama of the "love story". Will it happen? How will it go from here? Very enticing. Thank you!

    Prologue

A powerful prologue. Really sets the tone well. Draws the reader in and holds attention well. I like the way you handle the language too. Fine control.

    Chapter 34

What can I say? It's as good as ever. You sure know how to keep ones attention focused and lead one on! I'm following like a puppy. Where's the next one?

    Just Business

Wow! Another very sobering story that makes a hard case against the evils of porn. Very thought provoking.

    Chapter 1

That was an incredibly sobering story. What started out as sad and then turned humorous became in the end soul scorching and made me look at myself and my own desires and to think how I must be careful with them and re-evaluate what I really want. Very powerful. You are an amazing writer. Thanks.

    In the Cold

Another good one! And so different to what I have read so far. No comedy or humor here. It read like a detective story - a bit like a Sherlock Holmes - in the style and the tension and the understatements together with the descriptive details of the time and the place. Very compelling writing. And I found the conclusion was enormously satisfying in that a good resolution was brought out of a bad situation. It was also intriguing in that I wasn't sure in the beginning whether you were getting carried away with your imagination in what you were seeing in the situation, and then it became apparent that you were right on target. Excellent! You are a great writer. I am a fan!

    Chapter 2

Very good! Thanks. Looking forward to some more like that.

    Chapter 1

Very good! I loved it. You are so funny! I love your sense of humor!
  12. This is so real and so good. I love it. Your comments about internet dating and all that goes with it were a laugh a minute! And you made me laugh - I laughed all the way to the bathroom (just happened to need the bathroom; it wasn't your writing that sent me there!) and that was good because I have been more than normally depressed today, even a little suicidal in my thinking, and I really needed to be pulled out of it. Your story has really helped here. But what is so good is that it is also serious, and the end of the chapter was so real too with the fears about what might result from internet meetings. You handled it so well and so naturally. I love it! Keep it going!

    Introduction

A very interesting Prologue. It's most intriguing and makes one want to find out how this all goes. Lots of room for misunderstanding and drama rather than love. So I want to read on. And as you are saying this is based on personal experience, so much the better. Real life experience, even when it is so dramatically amazing, is always more convincing that romantic fictional tales from the imagination. So well done, so far. It's enticing me into the next chapter!

    Chapter 3 - Coping

Whoa! How's Sarah fit in so close that she can alter the house. She appears to be a neighbor and doesn't own the house. That's strange. And then to be bossing Scott around - he sure needs it - but a neighbor doing this. Where I come from neighbors don't do that! Sorry, it's all a bit unrealistic. And then the business with him and Sarah waiting for him to come out of the shower sitting in his bedroom. Shucks! They sure take liberties. It was almost turning into a comedy at that point, and so I didn't read the rest of the chapter. Sorry, dude. It just doesn't cut it for me.

    Chapter 2 - Requiem

Yes, it was a shocker that Will had made such a comment and that Michelle reacted so badly to it. A bit over the top, but if how it came up in the exchange was shown it might be more understandable, as well as Michelle's dramatic response. The grief and the turmoil is well expressed and deeply moving.

    Chapter 33

So very intense and so well done! I love the way you write and your handle on the emotions. It is so appropriate, so masculine, so compassionate. Can't wait for the story to continue and thanks for being so diligent with keeping the next chapter coming. You do a really great job.

It was a laugh a minute! Just what I needed. Thanks!

    Chapter 31

Wow! I've been reading another story before I caught up with the last couple of chapters here. Different author, different style, etc. And I'm blown away getting back to your story. Damn! You write so very well and so much take one into the depth and the height of the feelings. Your description of the turmoil of memories as this 50 ft wave catching Jim and sending him whirling was so vivid, saying so much in so little. Brilliant writing, man! So very descriptive and evocative. You do a really good job. Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks!

    Epilogue

Wow! I'm thrilled to have discovered this site and especially you, Gabriel Morgan, and your stories. Please, please, please finish Panhead! This was second best to Panhead though it is a f-ing good read, literally! And I loved the characters and the complexity of the relationships, but also their incredible flexibility with each other. Wow! Sean & Vincent's relationship was just amazing. I have never ever experienced such a wonder so it was a total gob-smacker to me is so many ways but you told the story so utterly convincingly. Love it. Thank you so much! A privilege to have been able to read it!

    Chapter 32

I took a while to get into this story as it seemed a little superficial after '52 Panhead, but I have got more and more into it and the characters have become more and more real to me. What is so amazing in this story is the compassion and love that flows. God, Sean is wonderful. What a guy! What understanding and compassion he has for all, but especially for the lost, the lonely, the ones in need. He seems to pick on that and know how to help each one to the next step. Beautiful. What a wonderful world it would be if we had some more guys like Sean, and Vincent, and so many of them. Great guys! I am loving the interaction between them too, especially on the physical level. That is so beautiful! And so sexy too! I have had lots of pleasure out of this story. Thank you!

    Chapter 28

Thanks for keeping the story going. Very interesting bit about the stages of grief and amazing seeing Jim the counsellor spring into life. Appreciate your diligence in updating on the story and not leaving it too long before adding the next chapter. That's really good and well done! The spark of sexuality that was fired between Jeff and Jim gave me a good boner and I'm as disappointed as they are at the need to cool it just at the moment in order not to complicate their problems even more. Something to be said sometimes for just a quick physical and not emotional attachment. Never as satisfying but a helluva lot less complicated!

    Chapter 48

WTF! THIS THE BLOODY END AND NO EXPLANATION!? I HATE THAT! I FEEL ABSOLUTELY CHEATED AND AS MAD AS HELL - JUST LIKE JEFF GETS AT TIMES. HOW UNSATISFACTORY. AND TO THINK YOU'VE LEFT IT LIKE THIS FOR TWO AND A HALF FUCKING YEARS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! AND THERE I WAS THINKING WHAT A GREAT WRITER YOU ARE, BUT NOW I JUST WANT TO THROTTLE YOU, MAN! THERE BETTER BE A FUCKING GOOD EXPLANATION FOR THIS!

    Chapter 38

Well, after that comment at the end of the chapter, have to write something more. Here is the thing between Raf and Jeff. Nicely handled and balanced. It would be easy for them both to just go at it and to hang with the consequences, but they are restrained by their loyalties and their friendships in such a good way. Very touching, very sexy too, very romantic, but very believable at the same time. Thanks for the good read. Love it!

    Chapter 32

Time for another review. I get so distracted with this story that everything gets forgotten. My tea gets cold and the time vanishes. I love it! I love your quirky humor. You come up with some great lines. I may have to go back to find them or maybe I should just start a collection of them as I go. I really enjoy them and they get a belly laugh from me! That's the up of the seesaw. The down is the emotional twist that make my eyes wet. And you do both so well. Thanks.
