    Chapter 34

And now we have a quest. It just gets better and better! Also, Daventry is adorable. Let's keep him around for a while.
  2. Ok, fun and outrageous...how about a sanctuary for closeted sports stars? Invitation only, very exclusive, very secure. Zach and JJ could be the first visitors. That said, I doubt it would be that much fun, and I can't see how it would piss Brad off. Really fancy "underground" bar/club? Definitely would piss Brad off especially on one of his "feeling old and fat" days.
  3. I think it is for himself and other family members to stay in. He is essentially building the place Brad should have built, comparable to what JP built in Chicago (or Evanston, if we're going to be pedantic about it). It'll piss Brad off initially because he essentially bought himself a "love nest" in the city and now the family will be able to descend on him whenever they want, but ultimately he'll see that it's a good thing which will achieve Will's long-term goal of bringing Brad back into the family. I don't think it can be any sort of commercial enterprise because Will would have to get rid of it (the commercial part, anyway) once he was done pissing Brad off, and he would feel badly about giving anyone a job that he then had to take away. Also, I doubt he could get around the zoning laws someone mentioned earlier. Most condo buildings have restrictions on rentals (either not allowed or limited in number and need approval by the condo association).
  4. Are we talking about the same Mark here? When has he ever taken it easy on us.
  5. Oh, there's no shortage of things to go horribly wrong in this book.
  6. There is far too much waiting involved, though.
  7. In his review, Jason (StoriReder) made some excellent points about ME's not realizing how much she has damaged her relationship with Alex. I think she also has no idea how much she has damaged her position in society. Families like Alex's really value both their privacy and their reputations. ME was already at a disadvantage by virtue of being both American and a "commoner". Now she has demonstrated that she has really poor judgment and no sense of decorum. By turning their marriage into a media circus, she will have made it even more difficult to fit into the very exclusive set into which she has married.

    Chapter 50

Hmmm, Carlton's secret draft pick might not be a secret much longer.

    Chapter 4

Probably a bad idea to post an (uneditable) review when I've been drinking but, hey, one only lives once. Still loving Will! Is he planning to create an ubercondo for himself/the family that entirely surounds Brad's? That would piss Brad off brilliantly. With regard to JJ, I think it was Will who observed that his temper runs cold with a tendency to hold grudges and exact revenge. JJ may have dismissed Alex but he will not have forgotten ME's treachery. She had better sleep with (at least) one eye open from now on.

    Chapter 33

Espionage on the high seas! I almost wet my pants with excitement. Does George need a new cloak and a dagger to go with it? (Not to mention a fun, albeit likely straight, new cabin-mate.)
  11. Mark seems to be eschewing the traditional holidays this year.

    Chapter 3

Ah, Will, how do I love thee? Can't wait to see what you do next!
  13. Thought y'all might like this. And not just because the cute model spends about half the time in his underwear. http://time.com/3951291/100-years-mens-fashion/

    Chapter 49

Oh, the heartbreak of another loss. Graeme, you are so cruel to your poor, hapless characters. I'm glad things are looking brighter for Dave. He deserves a huge dose of good fortune after everything he's been through. I'm also reminded of how Peter and the team supported him earlier in the season. They could so easily have given up on him after he started behaving aggressively; I am really glad they didn't. I see Clarissa agrees with my assessment of Doug: his loyalty to Liam is not enough to make up for his very significant character flaws.

    Chapter 32

Poor George. The only thing worse than unsatisfying sex is unsatisfying sex that lasts a really long time. So, we apparently learn that George retrieved his watch. Did he also retrieve the potentially incriminating fake cypher? I also really hope Jardines doesn't suffer any repercussions from the Guild either for failing to carry out his instructions or for selling them to George.

    Chapter 48

I'm glad Liam had a fun party. Deon and Clarissa's courtship is adorable, although I had a moment of ominous foreshadowing that Clarissa might find Paul more interesting when she finally meets him; I am consoling myself with the fact that Paul is even more on the rebound than Deon is, so that might scare her off. Paul's also at least 5 years older and might not want to date a girl just out of high school. The shower scene was hilarious. Doug's lukewarm tolerating of Neil for Liam's sake is still both hypocritical and tedious. While his speech at the party may have averted any overt hostility, it also reinforced Neil's status as an outsider. I can't imagine Liam would have been especially happy if he'd heard it.
  17. I think it would depend on the type of kissing...

    Chapter 2

Wow, that was a tough chapter. I feel so badly for JP; sex has been so important to him and his relationships. I hope this turns out to be a temporary problem. And poor Kevin. I think you perfectly captured the issue of drug failures even with combination therapy, as well as the complacency about safe sex that arose with the availability of effective treatment. Brad is getting crappier by the chapter. Will just keeps getting better and better.
  19. I think I may have posted about the UK pub Burberry ban before, but I really want this to happen to JJ. Sadly, about we're about a year or two too early. http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2003/11/12/burberry-banned More background: http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2004/aug/21/clothes.politics http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4381140.stm
  20. As long as you don't screw up and accidentally murder Will...

    Chapter 14

This chapter is so positive for Josh as he starts to let go of the tragedy of Blackjacks death, but the overall tone is still terribly ominous. I feel like I should be reading with one hand over my eyes. I really love that I have no clue where you're going with this story, despite all the warnings.
  22. You really don't want Alex on the chart, do you? Edit: Maybe Mark should write in a birthday party for him. Ah, I see you just added him. Thanks. I think the age I'm having the hardest time believing is Beau's. Maybe it's because we never see him, but he seems like he should be younger. Then again, I say the same thing about my nieces and nephews who all live in other states. Haha.
  23. I'm voting for ME (the term seems tailor-made for her) and maybe Marc. I'm still not sure I trust him, and Brad has gotten awfully isolated from the rest of the family (although maybe that's just because he's being a self-absorbed arse). Also, has anyone else noticed that Thomas Hartford hasn't had a single mention since Will's little surprise "reunion" dinner? I can't imagine Mark went to all that trouble to reintroduce him just to drop him again. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that he has something to do with whatever is bugging Stef.
  24. We don't have a specific age for Mary Ellen either, but she is on the chart. Of course, it is your chart so you can decide who is on it. But I'd include Alex with his approximate age given his relevance to this story.
  25. Hey hon, you need to add Alex.
