  1. Let him take his time. Most stories posted while still being written are riddled with errors. I can see posting while edits are still going on, but posting while still writing, I cured myself of that very fast.
  2. Six cars? You youngster!
  3. You obviously want one. Flower would be a cute name for a cute car... Hey, honey, want to take Flower out for a ride?
  4. I may have repeated myself without thinking about it. The next to last chapter of CDMX shows a bunch of people coming to CJ's aid. I know, I'm being mean. LOL
  5. Thank you, @dughlas
  6. I write a heck of a lot more in the chapter than Northman's opening outburst and that's who everyone concentrates on. You boys are out for blood!

    Human Touch

Maybe I need to write a massacre in excruciating detail. That should keep you guys munching on the popcorn.
  9. Using my best command voice: Names, model, and VIN number, maggot. Oops, sorry about the name calling; not cool in the new, nicer army. And you can ignore the VIN.
  10. LMAO Duel at the Mexican Corral or UFC 350 - Ginger v Ginger Northman wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
  11. Whenever I had CJ--and now Ritch--name an inanimate object, I could feel my editor roll his eyes in Michigan. It originally started with cars/motorcycles and that was based on most every member of my old motorcycle club naming their bikes. House naming tends to go hand-in-hand with palatial mansions, but as joke, I named my old house Altas Palmas because of all the thin, tall palms on the property. My best friend and her husband surprised me with a little bronze plaque engraved with the name and 1920 (the yer the house was built.) Haven't named another residence since, but I'm living vicariously through CJ and Ritch. My Jeep Wrangler goes by Cowboy. I may have to use the bit about taking vehicles in to the dealer and them knowing the names.
  12. Laughing out loud for real. Maybe he's testing out aliases for when he has to hide and goes on the run. Once a certain flyboy and a legless Army vet, both adept at using firearms, learn how he's been treating CJ, his life will be worth crap.
  13. OMG! You're advocating violent behavior for Owen and Liebe? How the heck did you get hold of my notes for future chapters/stories? I remember how shocked a few readers were when I had CJ beat the crap out of some people. I hope it solidified my assertion the series would not be like others preceding it, and CJ would not be the angst-ridden, insecure teen we're bombarded with in most stories.
  14. He sulked at first then realized if Jimmy and the Ambassador were decrying his attitude, maybe it was time to turn the page. He found it blank. Seems after CJ gets done with him, he'll be nothing.
  15. And here I thought a minute-by-minute account would be boring. Owen returned from playing with butterflies, CJ had packed most of what they needed, and they gave Infanta a year-end bonus.
  16. How about a human bulldozer running him over? There may be some of that when CJ returns to the office.
  17. Considering Cadet ran through May 2024, and this chapter takes place in December 2021, there may be more recycling on the way! But there's a lot of new stuff in between!
  18. Glad you enjoyed it, ma'am. Being the youngest one in the family does attract most of the adults' attention. At least the sober ones. I'm noit sure what Northman's reputation was before we met him, but I suspect it'll be crap soon. News will spread, CJ has a way of making friends and allies, so Stephen may find himself isolated at the embassy. And all because someone has upset his little fiefdom by going above what was required of him. Petty individuals tend to bury themselves.
  19. Thanks! I split their time in Vail into three chapters, so there's two more coming.
  20. Pandemonium's a good word. LOL Ritch's been out of school and in Vail with the dads for a week, adding CJ, Owen, and Liebe to the mix should make it a tad more interesting. Let's see what they get up to.
  21. Have you read Cadet? That's where Heinrich was introduced. As for Northman, he's digging his own grave.
  22. Thank you, my friend.
