I wish I could survive on as little sleep as CJ does. I wake up too damn early thanks to my bladder and usually have trouble getting back to sleep. But by 9 or 10 I'm ready for a nap.

@Howzat I live so far south cold fronts rarely affect my area. I'll keep my balmy 75F. Northman's already been scolded by the ambassador and dissed by a CIA agent. I think I want to pile on him a bit more. Hang in there, we'll get to him sooner or later.!

Not entirely, but I don't think he even gets a mention in the next chapter. That may change as soon as CJ and Owen return to Mexico.

There's one original reader doing the same. I keep track by his likes and comments. It is fun to revisit the older stuff and see how much CJ has grown.

I wrote this chapter sometime last fall. In December, I considered editing to account for the end-of-year snow in Colorado, but decided I'd done enough mentioning them skiing. For a while, there was little snow in the area. Snow outside you windows? Yesterday, my brother and I compared weather. Chicago was 65 degrees colder than Fort Lauderdale. Brrrrr.

LMAO - Let's save the Vega Sicilia for steak night. How about a nice, chilled Albariño for paella night? Those 5 men are so in touch with each other, even serious conversations are enjoyable. I'm sure they don't always agree, but since all the foundation does is give away money, they can always write another check if necessary. Every decent tequila I googled is sold in the US. Since I wanted something unique, available only in Mexico, I made that one up. Sorry.

I'm glad I waited until awake before replying. You're forcing me to think. She's not even 2 and she's been to a rave. That girl's gonna be twerking within weeks. Third Line's a for-profit business while the foundation's not-for-profit. Entirely separate entities. Within 5 years, CJ and Owen will have their fingers in a lot of pies. They already own a piece of a pro team and will invest in a few more. Let's wait and see how it goes when Pam and Geoff visit them over the summer.

Hey, FB. Embers is a great little story and WolfM's a darn good writer. He works hard at improving his craft and his stories reflect his growth. While he was down in Oz fighting fires, his messages always left me gasping. Glad you're enjoying it. My series obviously has a strong connection to Australia, and I'd love to explore different areas of the country, but obviously our guys have ties to NSW, and that's where they'll end up most of the time. At some point they need to at a minimum visit Melbourne and Darwin. And if I live long enough, I'll have them in Brisbane in 2032.

Problem with moving to DC, as much as I love the city, it's CJ &Co have spoiled it for me. I'd want their lifestyle and my bank balance is not big enough. LOL My nieces want me to move to Atlanta, but I think I'll stay in South Florida.

Although CJ's the star, Owen's a big second banana, and I've been trying to show what he does a bit more. The reserve was an easy choice. I was amazed when I first heard about it. The butterfly theme will return.

It's okay. Much better after the author did a major cleaning. LOL Thanks for the chance to cross-pollinate (Austin! Mind out of gutter. NOW!) I'm very protective of my boys and there's always the fear if someone else uses them, I won't like the results. With you (and Parker) there was trust and the knowledge if I wanted something changed we could talk about it because of our relationship. (Austiiiiiiiiiiiin...)
