Size queen! Where he in the NFL, or a tight end instead of a wide receiver, you'd definitely be right. He's probably one of those speedsters who can score on kickoff. Yuck! Cleaning under the hood's part of recommended maintenance.

@BlueWindBoy I recently questioned the length of a chapter I was working on and my editor repeated the advice he had given before and I must have forgotten. Paraphrasing... Let each chapter be as long or short as it needs. Due to the serial nature of sharing my work on GA, and the restrictions on multiple, concurrent postings, I do make concessions. On several occasions (like yesterday) I end up combining scenes in one chapter. Where I publishing on paper or all at once, the frequency of short chapters would be more pronounced. Are you forgetting CJ's fluent in English? There was no need for you to add the Spanish subtitles.

How about they WANT to work? What? And deprive me of the opportunity of annoying CJ? Bite your tongue. I may have to bring Chris back at some point so he can do it all again. LOL You know CJ, why pass up the opportunity to annoy the Aussies? I think Mr. Mac@dughlas may not have done his job well enough. Every story needs at least one or two raunchy comments. I haven't written about them yet, but I think he would wear a lot of Brooks Brothers seersucker suits during the summer. I see him in BB for work and Armani, Ford, and Boss in social settings. I think Zegna would be too slim for someone as bulky as him.

Having edited the story, I may be biased, but I truly enjoyed it. It tells us of a young man's growth while allowing us to experience the world of wildfire fighters in an exotic location. Brandon's growth and acceptance of his 'wolf' serve as a great representation of the acceptance any of us considered different must find. Once we learn to love ourselves, we'll be able to love others much better. Australia, as seen through the yes of an American firefighter is captivating. My hat's off to those men and women who risk their lives to protect ours and our property. Embers also showcases the author's growth. Wolf's stories are always popular, but each shows improvement over its predecessors. I look forward to his next offering and highly encourage you to read this one.

Well done, my friend. Amidst the fires, the sightseeing, and spectacular wines this was a story about Brandon growing up. About him coming out of his darkness and accepting himself. I believe he's a better man/wolf for his time and experiences in Oz. I have no idea if we'll hear from him again, but I sure as shit hope so. You've created a multi-faceted, interesting character who deserves more ink. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your efforts.
  6. @BlueWindBoy Everyone's a comodian... or is that a commode? You keep forgetting there's not a 2020 pandemic in the CJverse This week I finished writing a dinner party where CJ admits he agreed with some of Makeup and Hairspray's policies. So there! The policy of allowing children to decide if they want to practice a specific religion I give credit to my brother for. It's how he and his wife are handling the issue. Someone going behind a parent's back to baptize somebody is based on real events/ Albeit the instance I know about took place decades ago. I know of one other more recent attempt that unsuccessful. Or CJ and Owen could move to Virginia, buy a well-known failed winery, and raise their kids amongst grapevines while producing organic wines worthy of serving in the White House. Wait, we already had a grape growing Prez.
  7. While MIA, you missed the character I named after you. 😃

    The Farm

Not sure if you know how much I enjoy simple, feel good stories. This one fits in perfectly with my likes. Nice job, tim.
  9. The word and the video are both borderline Google-acceptable.
  10. @BlueWindBoy You prove my point. Liebe's not a real man--hell, she's not even a man-- so she should not be wearing pink. What do you think the chances are CJ wore underwear? You know that silly custom of the bride wearing something new, something old, something borrowed, something blue? Guess the color of the ribbon holding Tilda's flowers together? All roads lead to Mexico. Somebody's not happy, period! When done with Ripper, read New Year's Day.

I think I've written 3 or 4 proposals so far, this one was inspired by a real one at a Dodgers game. I thought having a gay couple propose on the giant screen was too good to pass up.

I almost used wireless-headset but when I googled for details, Madonna mike came up. Couldn't resist. Owen's the only one of my boys I've shown doing drag. Bad drag. And he wore rugby boots for his performance. We'll see Chipper back in LA in a couple of books.
  13. Both siblings complain, but I'm not sure how much truth there's behind their dislike of poetry. By now you've read another reference to this poem. get ready for worlds to collide. As for Bender, I see him having a touch of Huck Finn in him.

Hang on to that thought. I may complicate the issue. A decade later, I still consider it one of my trips highlights. I got all excited when Wolf mentioned he was doing it in an email from down under. LMAO My list of characters' a tad over 400 and I haven't added any wolfves yet. Maybe my guys need a new pet.
  15. @BlueWindBoy The country duets don't come into play until he makes a surprise appearance at a Nashville honky tonk. You forgot Mom and cowboy stuff as themes. I'm not sure if they still do it the same, but the show would hire songwriters to pen something for finalists. Original meant never before recorded or sung in public. In our case, we'll credit Mr. Owens.

I relieved my time in Australia with this chapter. Thank you for bringing back such fond memories. Brandon definitely has one up on me when it comes to surfing. Now, about Thorin, would dismemberment be too harsh a punishment?
  17. LMAO - I had to add the part about it no longer being made after WolfM pointed out my initial error. Can you tell this chapter and last were big on setting up several other stories. Hell, we'll revisit some of this in Ethan's spinoff when I get around to it.
  18. Check your email. I suspect Barack and Michelle can call him whatever they want. LOL So what did you learn in today's lesson?
  19. Yeah, Brett's not one to pass up the opportunity to use the banned nickname. That research's ongoing. I may not read everything I've subscribed to any more, but I keep an eye on Air Force news in case something comes up I may want to incorporate into future stories. After all, if he does become a pilot, Ritch will be tied to the Air Force for at least 10 years. That's how I came across the picture I shared of the 2021 graduation. BTW, that was my first status update in about six months.

Or horny goat? Wait until he starts touring and women through panties at him while on stage. He's Argentinian, not Colombian! I figured one stereotype deserves another. The location dilemma doesn't get resolved until 2026 and all I have so far is a rough idea for that story.

    Loose Ends

Thank you! It's been fixed. LMAO - Actually, my intent didn't completely translate on the page. Possibly due to the word count limit. My goal was to show Bliss assuming Chipper wanted more than a little afternoon delight even through he never insinuated it. Bliss was conceited enough to believe once she spread them he was hooked. HA! ROTFLMFAO
  22. Yeah that part I didn't make up. As I told Mann, I couldn't make that stuff up. While reviewing the names all 40 squadrons, the Dirty Dozen seemed like a good fit for Ritch, but I soon abandoned the idea of giving The Wing 12 members. When I saw one was the Chicken Hawks, I couldn't resist using it.

Thanks. I try not to rush things too much. Ritchie and CJ reuniting was in the cards from the beginning, but I had to wait until the timing was right. CJ needed to be settled in. I think he feels at home in DC by now. LOL
  24. Totally. I always envisioned Brett as a softie and Cesar as the hardass. Defining their personalities a bit more was one of the reasons I wrote Malibu.
