@BillF Thank you, Bill. These guys have wormed their way into my heart, and I'm glad they've found such favor with readers. Working on the next adventure right now, so hang in there.

Cap may get sentimental before this book's over. I try to remind readers those two have not only the military connection, but both were orphaned with parents dying in accidents. Of course, Brett's still gonna give him crap on a regulasr basis.

@BlueWindBoy Hang on to the model search website. Maybe you'll catch something nobody else did. LOL This was my first attempt at a Squad story. I used CJ and Owen in the prologue to hook fans, but subsequently tried really hard not to invoke his name. I use social media to post a picture now and then and to look at those posted by a bunch of hot men. These days, if it's political or Tik Tok, I bypass the post.

@BlueWindBoy I think so. He may be nervous before each performance, but he approaches the entire think convinced he's good enough to win. More will be revealed about his reasoning coming up soon. Hey! This is a business trip for Ethan. He doesn't need a distraction half-naked at the pool while trying to work.

Anthology Entry Revisited: Born Again
Carlos Hazday commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Nice read earlier this morning. -
I'm trying to type but my head's so inflated right now it's tough to see the screen. You know I love this.

Welcome to GA and thank you. I'm flattered. If you started reading here because of @WolfM, you made a good choice. I'm obviously biased, but Wolf's stories are interesting and with each one his writing grows. It's a pleasure to work with him. Does he have a name? Your Model T? This is a little story based on a picture of Melvyn. I thought it was a bit too sentimental, but the fact you and @Reader1810 both joined GA so you could comment on it blows my mind. The kid naming the car did influence other stories of mine. To this day, I have characters in my main series name homes and vehicles. Thank you again, Pup.

@BlueWindBoy Man buns are not very popular with GA readers, but I think on the right man they make him look hot. Not sure if you've ever watched the show, but Adam Levine left before I posted this story. His back and forth with Shelton was one of the reasons I used to watch. Not so much since. When using real people, I try to ensure I don't have them do anything out of character which could potentially lead to a defamation lawsuit. Cleaner language's part of that. Next chapter backtracks a bit so I can show how Ethan ended up sitting with the two California boys. When I first posted the story, the word count evened out at 27,000 for 27 chapters. Since then I've fixed a couple of boo boos (a couple more are pending) and total word count's now up by 2. When I fix the remaining errors, I'll try to trim enough to bring the count back down.

@BlueWindBoy LMAO - I may have thought of Michael Corleone while writing this, but I'd already referenced The Godfather in relation to CJ. I hate repeating myself. Although he probably encouraged his sister to take prescription meds while dealing with her scuzzy husband, I think Chipper would avoid them. A cocktail, a doobie, and extra time at the gym are his most likely coping mechanisms. Dull the pain until he can deal with it. Since Chipper signs the national anthem at a presidential inauguration, we can assume he survived Nalbo's dirty tricks.

@BlueWindBoy Nalbo and or the house will show up in future stories. That's as much as I'm willing to share to avoid spoilers. I can't recall if you've already gone through Ripper Christmas; if you haven't, it should be read after Singer. After that, read in the same order I posted. The spin offs and spin ins can be read as stand alone stories, but for those following the entire series, stories end up building on each other. Albeit a few jumps forward in time. BTW, this one takes place in 2020. CJ and Chipper are the same age. CJ went through his graduation at GU, and Chipper was there although he skipped his own at UM.

Thanks, Chris. Hope you're doing well and things have settled down for you.

@Parker Owens's influence on the story will be revealed in a future chapter.

@BlueWindBoy It used to be a powerful white man was accused of improper behavior, the accuser was called a liar, paid off, or ridiculed. The pendulum has swung to the point someone's reputation could get ruined by false claims. Maybe one day soon we'll find a happy medium. Obviously not the case here since I show Nalbo's wrongdoing. No question about his misdeeds here. As for Bryce and Zion, the antipathy shown them by several readers surprised me. The story was already written, and I knew where those two were going, so I kept my mouth shut, For the most part. I've come to realize party boys are frequently written as villains, and having two of them seduce Chipper and use drugs was not palatable to a segment of GA readers. However, I'm sticking to my guns. Based on experience, their actions are an accurate representation of a segment of the gay population. We know there are no pictures of their initial romp because the author said so. LOL I consciously wrote about them taking selfies while at Coachella, but never brought up a camera while they were going at it.

Thank you, Nigel. Stick around, I think you'll like the next series' entry. In CDMX I introduce a South African (Ugo Mapimpi) as a recurring cast member. I also have a toddler named Nigel Sinclair in it, although he's a toddler who I've not given any dialogue to yet. And one chapter tells the story of the 1995 Sprinboks' World Cup victory.

CJ's the one with a neat beard most of the time, unlike the author who's been letting his grow in hopes of playing Santa this year. Chipper i see as been scruffy all the time. Probably manicured for TV appearances. Twenty years ago, when I was hitting circuit parties, EVERYONE shaved their chest. I've never had a lot of it and was afraid it wouldn't come back if I followed the herd.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

@alexlittel THANK YOU! I smiled through each notification tracking your progress through the story. Although it's fiction, I try to ground my stories in real life. For the record, there are only 2 stories of mine with a Temporary Hold tag. One's a series of vignettes tracking someone's motorcycle trip, which I'll add to when the mood strikes. Each chapter's self contained though, so they can be read as they stand. The other one's Thiago's story. I had to write the opening chapter as my reaction to someone's actions and the BLM movement. I'll write the remainder of the story as soon as I get done with a couple others.
-
LOL Maybe Gwyneth Paltrow will show up. The house definitely will.
-
Weinstein was definitely on my mind. Singer I though was off the hook. Didn't the guy suing him retract it and later got in trouble with the law himself? I gave Chipper the same talk I gave my nieces at my brother's request: If you're going to indulge you better trust your supplier and be aware of possible consequences. He may have indulged with the boys his own age, but a white powder provided by an older man? Was your question about Bliss in the previous chapter satisfactorily answered?
-
Tony Stark? I think he's dead until the next reboot. I took huge liberties with the show's format, I wasn't trying to write actual fan fiction, but both on TV and on GA direct competition happens only twice. From now on it's a free for all with viewer voting deciding who advances.

I know the one you thought of has never been to Australia.

I'm still waiting for my Zoom meeting with Brandon and Austin. I can imagine those firefighters partied hard once they rested a bit. That would have been a sight to see and enjoy. Loved the debriefing, but Thorin's an ass. He acts up again, someone should rip his throat out. A Wind Bender loose in the world is scary.

@BlueWindBoy Good observation! Chipper's definitely torn, not knowing where home is. He'll coast along for a few years nomad-style, living out of hotels or staying with friends. He'll discuss planting roots during his 30th birthday party. Anything else I say right now would be a big spoiler. Milhous wouldn't have recognized sincerity if it slapped him on the face. The fact he considered it an act isn't surprising.

Wave at CJ and Owen sipping Champagne on the poop deck.

His dinghy has a dinghy... We're talking boats, RIGHT?
