Chipper played it smarter than I would have. By agreeing with her and accepting her proposal, he comes out smelling like roses and gets what he wanted in the first place.

I'm still a couple of words over the limit for the story as a whole. Word told me this one was 999 words long, but GA does its own counting. Watching the game on TV, when Wade put those shoes on for the last quarter my thought was 'He's gone Hollywood." Sure enough he's now living in LA. Not surprising considering Gabrielle Union, his wife, has an active acting and producing career. What I'm afraid of is losing Chipper to California too. His Squad may need to intervene and rescue him.

I read that during the pretaped shows, the audience had to endure up to 8 hours in the studio with little relief to eat, drink, or pee. The live shows would be the ones to attend.

Sooner or later, I'll try the 1k approach again. Nest time though, I won't do it with a rigid format. That forced me to exclude lots of details about the behind the scenes events.

Men are from Mars, and women are from Venus? No matter how much we work towards equality, the two genders will often see things from a different perspective. Bliss may have assumed Chipper wanted more, but in the end they were on the same page.

I wanted it to sound borderline obscene without crossing the line. Adam knows sex sells (it wasn't an accident he ended up half-naked during the Super Bowl half-time show) I'm sure he coached Chipper on how to be sexy without being raunchy.

I try to make readers think when they read my stories. Sometimes I espouse things I do not believe in but others do. Maybe I can start a little dialogue. I do know my CJ series has both liberals and conservatives in the readership. Although someone mentioned they stopped reading because my characters where too 'macho'. Guess I can't please everyone. LOL

Thanks, bud. I read an article about one of the real-life individuals I referenced and the story bloomed in my mind. Don't you think it's funny how I get in trouble for making CJ a gun-toting character, and I create just as much controversy when I write a similar character with a different attitude. I'm so confused I don't remember what my real feelings towards guns are anymore. LOL
