Both! Instead of expanding these scenes or rolling them over to the next chapter as I've done before, I decided on a between-Fridays treat. These were meant to ratchet the drama back and set us up for a couple of 'play' chapters. Oh, I don't know... I mean, they have Gamon and now Benjamin Mookjai and also Fabricio Baravento. And before the summer of 2019 is over, there'll be another baby around. The cast is multiplying like rabbits!

Hi, Will. Rex has a unique writing style different from most as you state. I loved all his stories, and I miss him. Last time I spoke with him was about two years ago. He had been facing family and health issues at the time. I was in New Orleans in August 2017, tried to meet him for drinks, but never received a reply. Enjoy the story, it's not the usual GA fare but worth every minute spent reading. -
I like a man willing to pull fingernails to get information. Revenge is a beautiful thing, and Harris sounds like a badass. Let's hope Stefano's death comes only after he experiences much pain. Zampa's okay but a wolf cub would have been better. Pussies do nothing for me.

Interestingly, I had a reader e-mail this past week asking about CJ's attitude towards vaccines, car seats, and a few other things in light of his libertarian attitudes. I think our boy's willing to take risks but not when they can adversely impact others' lives. Therefore the car seat. Sorry, back to every Friday for the foreseeable future. I don't want to overwhelm readers. LOL

I took me a bit to work out the timing so I could have Benjamin born soon after Brad's mishap/ I wanted to show that even when times are darkest, sunlight isn't too far. You can thank Papa Brett for the funny parts, he keeps whispering in my ear.

After what some readers insist on calling a cliffhanger in chapter 10 and the intense events of chapter 11, I figured a small dose of levity was needed. CJ did say at one point that 2019 was going to be a 'baby palooza' period. So far we have Fabricio and Benjamin; another one's on the way before summer's over. Those kids will be lucky to have the support and guidance of all those men.

At this point in the story, CJ's been in DC for 6 years; time does fly when you're having fun. Or when the author continues to throw strange circumstances at the main character. Get ready for a whirlwind of adventures over the final 12 months of his college time.

Thank you, sir. By this point in the writing, I was speeding down the track trying to reach the end. I wanted to get to CJ's college graduation so badly it took considerable effort to slow things down. Trips, particularly motorcycle ones, are a great way to shed stress so we're off to New York and then New England in the next chapter. I think you'll enjoy the ride.

He's still learning when to push and when to back off. It may take him a bit to figure out not everyone can handle his intensity. But he does it all out of concern for his peeps, so let's hope he can help Brad. Once Red's back in the US, the real work begins.

The problem with single-focus chapters is they slow down the action and force me to increase word count and chapter number. The current book carries us through CJ's college graduation and will post through the end of June. If I used the other approach, I'd be posting for a year, and we don't want that. I feared for my life if I killed Brad!
