I think many of us have had similar experiences. I know my own influence my writing. Once I lose trust in somebody, I find it hard to believe in them again. The fear history will repeat itself is overwhelming.

Thank you! That conversation was tough to write. Not so much the words themselves but trying to capture the emotions of a 15-year-old and his 10-year-old brother.

I saved the drama for the next chapter even though it went against my beta reader's recommendation to make it a perfect event. 😈 Yes, you can say trumps. It's a word and the fact it echoes the name of our President doesn't preclude its use. However, there was already one asshole on the guest list so philandering Don was not invited. 😀

Thanks, Def- This is kind of a big event in the series and I wanted to ensure as many characters as possible made an appearance. I started it off with Rashid Kahn las chapter and there will be more in the next two. I wanted to bring back Adriano and Margarita so I thought the kids would be good as flower girl and ring bearer--it's one of the few things from a traditional wedding those two embraced. Harley's not Carlos' type as I already mention but wait until he meets Sean! As for Brad, was is sometimes necessary but should never be glorified. The things military men and women encounter can be traumatic. I've spoken to more than one veteran who refused to discuss details of what they went through. It's a life-changing experience.

I dislike the following in no particular order: 1. a character looking in a mirror and describing themselves 2. any variation of I'm 6' weigh 180lbs and have a 7-inch dick 3. an author creating unnecessary drama by having a couple break up over something stupid to have them get back together a chapter or two later 4. a character thinking something and keeping it to themselves so lack of communication can lead to drama. Give me a break!

Oh, boy. I'm gonna be in trouble when this book's over and we go on hiatus, aren't I? We have a ceremony, a reception, and the honeymoon left. I considered slowing down the timetable but I think that might get me in deep doo-doo. Anybody wanna guess where those three events take place?

This is so weird. Last Friday's chapter was published the same weekend the Bingham Cup was taking place. Today's is a combination of the past and the future. The next two chapters take place on the same day: June 23, 2018. If I post one on Saturday, the second one still won't go live until a week later. And no, I'm not posting two chapters the same day We'll see what I decide.

Oh, yeah, right. I've owned a few Golden Retrievers. He'll drool and lick me. Actually, that sounds like what a good boyfriend should do!

This happened more years ago than I care to remember. It's proof the way CJ meets famous people happens. I was in Los Angeles for a fraternity brother's wedding and an old friend from school invited a few of us she knew for dinner at her place one night. She wanted us to meet her fiance--Bill Parducci, son of the founder. Anne had told Bill I was a wine drinker and he had a few bottles ready for me to taste. I fell in love with their Petite Sirah and drank the stuff for months maybe years afterward. Bill and I remained in touch and I was able to buy a few bottles of stuff normally not available to the public directly. Sadly, I lost touch with Anne and Bill but I'll never forget that meeting. He brought wine bottled in such small amount then only family and close friends had access to it. That's the short version. If we were sharing a bottle of vino I'm certain I could embellish it some LOL

At least you know I'm good for it. I won't put the story on hold or abandon it and leave readers hanging. Although, I'm considering posting a day later so the chapter and the wedding take place on the same day.

Thanks, Chris. I did a lot of planning and prep for this wedding myself! I can just imagine what the guys went through. The enhanced Squad is out en force for this one. They'll also be front and center in the next two chapters.
