Now that you're reading as I post, you'll realize when I have a short chapter I'll post it early. FYI- I try to keep chapters focused on one or two events, but sometimes something needs to be out on its own. And I like to have a short wrap up as an epilogue often.

Thankfully, there's more planned. Let's see how soon I can get another CJ installment out.

Thanks, Theo. That's number 3 of the 9 stories I divided the summer of '22 into. All done with June, the next two won't be in order, but they're the ones I really want to write. We'll jump around a bit, but by now y'all should be used to that.

I got the idea for using her when I saw a picture of Swift wearing jeans, sneakers, a hoodie, and oversized sunglasses. We're so used to seeing celebrities dressed up, we often forget some like to act and dress like regular people. It'll diminish soon enough, but after Mexico and being paraded in front of the cameras by the White House, CJ's going to be recognized. The one question I have's whether he'll have to deal with Ticketmaster when he and Owen want tickets fro Taylor's concert tour.

Yeah, I want to dive Cuba, but we're not going in search of gold and emeralds. If we happen to discover an old Spanish galleon, well, we'll see what's there. And yes, I've invited myself along. LOL

I had Owen do drag once as part of a fundraiser for the Scandals, his gay, rugby club. And it was silly drag since he wore a wedding veil and rugby shorts and boots. For now, considering the hateful language of certain governors, no drag for CJ. I'm wondering how George Santos gonna escape that controversy. CJ would probably own it and brag about it.

Not everyone appreciates the political intrigue as much. LOL Thank you! Although the current batch of novelettes and novellas are all designed to show CJ moving back into domestic politics and at least temporarily away from the international scene, I try to mix up the political stuff with every day life and some antics. He'll be a student for the next couple of years, but his sense of duty will have others drafting him for certain events. He'll be in Cuba in August, and Japan in November. Two more chances for CJ to impress movers and shakers.

Happy anniversary. I think I hit 10 years sometime this summer. It feels like yesterday. Made some great friends, pissed off my share, and have mourned some who have left us. It' been a good ride so far.

If they're anything like Marvel, they'll hire you a trainer a year before filming begins. You may complain a wee bit about even your fingernails hurting.

I'm not a big follower of royalty. The institution, and the antics of many royals, baffle the hell out of me. Thank you for the information. Owen and CJ both expressed their dislike for Spike's secrecy and machinations, even though he's too young to have much pull at the CIA. He's the messenger so let's not kill him. However, the final decision as to traveling to Cuba, knowing they're part of something more than an environmental group, is theirs. And CJ wisely waited until his husband made the call. Believe it or not, I have a rough draft of the prologue and the opening of chapter one for that story. Once again, it'll be limited to the few days they spend in Havana, but CJ and Owen will go their separate ways during the day. Owen will be in meetings and CJ will be drinking mojitos and sightseeing. I mean, what kind of trouble could he get into?
