Politics can be dirty, and CJ will have to play games at times. But I don't see him ever compromising his core values. Interestingly, in an upcoming story a reporter asks about working with someone CJ trashes, and our man says sure, if it's something we agree on and benefits the nation, he can put aside personal feelings.

EDV is nearing pandemic status. In Arizona. the losing gubernatorial cantidate just filed another lawsuit demanding she be installed as governor, and next door in New Mexico, a dipshit lost his election by 50 points, claimed it was due to fraud, and hired people to shoot officials who didn't support his claims. All thanks to the lies started by a certain orange blob. If he's going to win elections as an unknown, third-party candidate, he'll need name recognition. CJ had his first fifteen minutes in the spotlight during the 2016 elections and the publication of his first book. This year he's been in the news for nudging a Russian to defect, winning an Oscar, being featured in a NYT article, and rescuing his daughter from a kidnapper. He's savvy enough to use all the publicity to his advantage. The trip to Cuba in August, the publishing of his second book, and the eventual movie will keep him in the spotlight for a while.

LMAO... If you don't want to peek, move so I can. Wasn't it Dave who guessed CJ had to be a supporter of the military because of his father and brother? Although I made him a Green, I want to show he has his own philosophy and will mold whatever party he belongs to into something that tracks with his beliefs. He's an environmentalist but won't ignore the present and focus on only one thing.

Although CJ joked (?) Liebe has more pull, it's Owen who will slap him down if he gets too big for his britches. I've been trying to show Owen becoming increasingly comfortable with the path laid out in front of them. He may prefer the background most of the time, but he'll jump in when necessary.

I want a real CJ in our world too. Until he, or she shows up, I'll keep writing and hoping. Owen's bits were definitely hanging loose. Gotta air the boys out! LOL

I based the golf tournament the morning of the wedding on a personal experience. I don't play golf, so I went sightseeing/drinking instead. I mean, it was my first time in New Orleans! In CDMX, Sir Kent encouraged CJ to take up the game since the links offered a great opportunity for conversation. I don't see that happening during a pick up game at a basketball court. I tried to show Mr. Parker being savvy enough to recognize talent and pursue it. I have a feeling the Parkers and the Fannings will be players in whatever CJ decides to do in the future. I've written a bunch of weddings and tried to make each unique. There's one more coming during the summer of 2022, and instead of a bunch of moderates, the guest will be mostly progressives. Gotta keep CJ drawing people from all walks of life and the entire political spectrum.

We just had a couple of lottery drawings were the prize was over 1 billion dollars. I bought a ticket for each of the drawings. I knew i wouldn't win (odd are like 300 million to 1, but I still let my imagination run wild. I kept thinking of all the places I wanted to visit to research possible trips for CJ and Owen.

It's good to have Wolf back! I read this so long ago I'd forgotten about Salvaggi. He sounds doable. Shannon reminds me of a few guys I've know; gotta love a sex fiend. When I plotted the summer of 2022 stories, I decided to spread out Squad appearances. So far, we saw Ritch in Key West, Brad and Lincoln in Everhope, and Carson shows up in this one. There are six yet to make appearances and I know when and where four of them will show up. The other two I'm still working on. Paul's a friend, he made the cut for invitations to CJ and Owen's wedding. Aside from Carson and Spike, there are a few people CJ knew while at Georgetown. We'll hear more about them coming up in the next chapter. He had also briefly met Paul's brother and father. CJ's definitely accumulating potential supporters for when he runs for office.
