Come on, man. How many times do we want to read about the actual wedding? The fact I was in the middle of plotting three other nuptials at the time I wrote this may have influenced me.

Thanks, Parker. And thanks for letting me borrow Gus. Even if it was just a mention. I did say I foresaw him playing in the White House at the end of Double Concerto, didn't I?

2022 Anthology: Anniversary Week 3 *Now Live*

Did you notice my story had more straight characters than gay ones? Hell, I've written a bunch of them with heteros as the MC. I do NOT discriminate. Now, about Banner, yeah, you don't have a chance with him. -
Love the fire!!! I've been throwing stuff at my readers for years in hope of starting conversations and maybe motivating someone to become involved. Even if it registering to vote and doing it. Power derives from the people and too many good people have been quiet for too long. Nothing is sacred and if Roe can be overturned, so could many other decisions. Hell, there's a guy running for Congress in Michigan who thinks the 19th amendment should be overturned. Women are not capable of handling the responsibility. It's 2022, right?

I've had characters mention how we need to remember the past without repeating the mistakes made. It's why education--true impartial education--is essential. Unfortunately I see two educational systems evolving and I'm ashamed my state's on the wrong side. I hope to highlight the issue in a future story.

Thanks, Dave. I tried hard not to mention technology and concentrated on the individuals instead. And I tried to focus on the family and their interactions. From Davey cussing (even if in French,) to Liebe being an advocate for minorities, those kids are definitely the product of CJ and Owen. There are a bunch of tidbits in the story for CJ fans, but they should not detract from others enjoying it. Did you notice who the Air Force One pilots are? And I have a bone to pick with you. I figured you'd make a comment about triplets who offered their venue as a wedding gift. ⚾

Bite your tongue! This one was tough because I had to make it accessible to those not familiar with the characters. I think I only added 1 new character and mentioned the Robinsons. Their story didn't get written in time like the one about Brion did. But in the end, even though I don't write romances LOL this was a love story. But since it's me and the Abellos are involved, we had to have a little political commentary. I have faith the next generation will be better than us.

Yep, troublemaker. Thanks for your help. I threw you in cold turkey and you did a great job. I took your advice and it made the story better. Only like 20 more stories to read if you want to start at the beginning.

2022 Anthology: Anniversary Week 3 *Now Live*

Two left to read and they're the longest ones. They may have to wait until tomorrow since I understand it's 5 o'clock somewhere. Meeting friends for an early happy hour. Why? Because it's Thursday. Works for me. -
GA is many things to many people. I'm glad you feel at home here. For me, it helped me manage depression. So what if I did it by escaping into a fantasy world. Probably better than drugs. Keep working on your truth, Northie. And screw anyone who doesn't like it.

Careful I don't send Banner after you. How shall I put this? He's different. Big, muscular, and powerful... stop drooling! -

6 characters- Banner, Juan, Ryan, Chad, Marc, and Kwan. You may have trouble since Liebe, your alter ego, isn't in it. -
Thank you!

@northie Blame it on @Mrsgnomie. She's a troublemaker. After @Mann Ramblings edited my story, I sent her the chapter with his comments so she could have an idea of what I went through. The one comment she focused on? Mann thought when the President of the United States said he was looking forward to white powder (on the ski slopes) hitting his face it meant CJ was into cocaine. That told me most of what I needed to know about her! -

Perv! You just wanna see @Mrsgnomie naked. It couldn't be me. I'm old, wrinkled, and gray. -
She has the pedigree and eventually runs for office. Elizabeth Liston will become Senate Majority Leader a few years after being elected the represent her home state. Yep, DC's a state by then.

Glad you enjoyed this one. Liebe's definitely the protagonist in this one. As for her brothers, one leaves the Navy soon after his initial commitment's done, the other one has to stay in longer because he became a naval aviator. Davey lives in Australia for a while then runs the family's vineyards and winery in California. Their cousin Raish becomes a veterinarian and at the time of the wedding works for the Bronx Zoo and lives in NYC where his wife, Carolina, is a struggling actress on Broadway. How's that for a little extra? LOL

Chapter 1 It's Been a Long Time
Carlos Hazday commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 1 It's Been a Long Time
Damn! You went further into the future than I did in my story. Those relationships that began years before same sex marriage was legalized are to be admired. I know one couple together for over 40 years and it always amazes me how strong they had to be to counter society dismissing their love.- 30 comments

Nice, Adi. A niversaries can bring a lot of different emotions and you vividly captured some of them.

I love that you interpreted the story as one highlighting inclusion. That was one of my primary goals. Liebe et al may rub elbows with royalty and glitterati, but I suspect CJ and Owen have kept her, and her brothers, grounded. She definitely has strong opinions about homophobia and mysoginy, and isn't afraid to speak up. My fervent hope is we get a few more Liebes, CJs, and Owens in the world. We can definitely use them.
