Sigh. Dad just made a list for Christmas gift with how much for who - me included - and asked me to get gift cards or if I had an idea to do as I think is best. This is so sad. I hate it. It's like an obligation for him. I don't care how much the present cost the most important is the thought behind it, even if it's not always perfect at least it shows you care about the person...

Ahahah like the good old time

A friend from college will be staying with me tomorrow night as 2 of her flatmates have covid. One tested positif last week and the second one yesterday. Poor girl is very scared to catch it on and pass it on to her father who just got out of the hospital after a month there for some heart problems. Since the first flatmate has been tested positive she's been so scared to go back to her apartment that she's spending all of her free time at the college library and when she doesn't have a choice but to go home she's locking herself in her room using disinfectant every time she touched something. I told her to come tonight but she'd rather took a test in the morning to be sure not to pass it to me. I had to insist multiple times for her to accept as she doesn't want to bother me but I know she's very worried. I hope the crêpe party and some homemade dinner will lift her spirits. Covid sucks

Yeah I experienced something similar when I went to Barcelona on a school field trip. It was in early March but it was almost 20°. When we arrived we saw people with heavy coats on but we were in tshirt and some even went swimming! Exam are... going. Another one today which is the last one for this week. It rised quite some problems as first it's a big class so this exam should have normally taken place on the official week in January but the professor decided to do it like those we take on class (there will be no official copy to write on we have to bring our own, there won't be enough space to leave one sit between people...). The administrationwasn't even aware of the situation. Plus yesterday we learned that the people who can't be present because of covid (being either positive or contact) will have 3 days to drop it online and so obviously will be able to use their notes and have way more time than our 2 hours).
